Very good experience!
4/5

My husband and I were on a three days safari in three different park, each one was different for plants but in all of these there was a lot of beautiful animals. Our guide was kind and respectful of animals, our chef cooked very very good dinner and breakfast for us (box lunch during safari not so good as the dinner). The lodge was basic but comfortable and the same for the jeep. We saw Big Five the second day in Ngorongoro Crater, but all three days were very exciting for us. Absolutely recommended!

Colorful people, sights & sounds of wildlife on the African savannah & grassland is unforgettable!
5/5

I feel I was fortunate to correspond with Patrick from A&B Tours, unfortunately we never did meet. I let him know our needs and wants. We were three friends/colleagues hoping to experience an unforgettable African adventure. Two of us had never been to Africa before, I was one. Patrick was always quick to reply with encouragement and positive comments trying hard to fulfill the many places we hoped to encounter and experience with our senses. We achieved that. The accommodations were varied, priced right, the food was great and friendly people greeted us at the various Safari stops. Sometimes they went 'above and beyond'. Patrick did a great job giving us a wide variety of experiences which is what we wanted. We loved the many adventures but sometimes I wished we could stay a bit longer like experiencing the tea growing operation or taking a tour of the flower/horticulture center in another city. We never felt fear and trepidation, always safe, even though Africa was going through a national election and we kept abreast of news from the last election. There was never a day without smiles and our guide Moses was great. I thought perhaps we may have bit off a little much in the long travelling days at times. Some drives were very long. We couldn't stop much enroute in order to make it to our next destination sometimes. I know we covered a lot of ground travelling across Kenya like we did in less than 2 weeks & sometimes the unexpected must be considered. So Simon had to hurry the drive on the longer trekking days. But on safari site seeing days he was as excited as we were and very knowledgeable about the animal or bird species and life slowed down.......We loved it. The food and various lodgings took great care of us. We enjoyed the service and people everywhere we stayed. Sometimes they surprised us like with the wonderful 'Bush Dinner'. We looked forward to the prospects of new adventures each day. I've said this before 'The young, the old, the weak, and the bold' all intrigued us. I could have hung out on the savannah in the jeep under the stars only to wake early with the animals and watch them play, prey, watch or chase the day away. The flora and fauna, the watering holes and approaching animals, the rivers, the birds, the mammals, the old and the young, large and small, were all unforgettable. I will remember them forever. My camera was never far away. I love reviewing the images. The trip takes me to a magical time and place I shall not forget. I've written to Patrick to say how much we enjoyed our trip as well. Thank you A&B Tours! I've recommended you already. If I find a new kind of malaria pill (because I was rather ill on this one, not all the time though), perhaps I can return one day.
Thank you to all who helped make this such an amazing adventure. Hope to see the Great Migration as animals jump into the river next time. That didn't happen unfortunately but we did see multitudes of wildebeest, zebras and grassland animals bound on their lengthy annual journey. How wonderful! Best!

A fulfilled life long dream and a perfect adventure.

From start to finish, East Africa Wild provided a top notch experience. Alym was incredibly responsive, honest and informative when it came to the process of us building out our itinerary for our safari in Tanzania. There was nothing that didn't live up to the expectations we had for the safari. Our guide and driver, Nurdin, was amazing. He was very easy to get along with and was as accommodating as he could have been the entire time. He shared additional information about every animal/plant/landmark we saw and was happy to go into more detail when asked. We met other EAW drivers and guides along the way as well and they seemed as pleasant and greatful as Nurdin did. The places we stayed were world class and offered everything we knew they would. We would absolutely recommend East Africa Wild to any of our friends and family...and already have :) . Alym has build a great business and knows his space very well, also hiring great people to help move his safari operation further. Thanks for such a great honeymoon!

Rufus was a great guide. Entertaining and knowledgeable.
5/5

Communications were hassle free and my (many) emails were responded to quickly and professionally. CVery easy to book the safari we wanted inside the budget we had. Very accommodating in terms of a pick up point at the start of the safari and Rufus, our guide, was very friendly and entertaining. The transport is a little old but it does the job and it is not uncomfortable. Think it may have been a bit of a squash if there were 6 of us though. Thankfully, there were only 4. We ran into a bit of a disaster on our first night as there was a massive thunderstorm and, for some bizarre reason, there were no tents at the campsite we had booked. I am still unclear if there were actually no tents or if the rain had made the tents uninhabitable. In any event, Rufus scurried about in the rain for about an hour and fixed the problem for us. Nice little bonus was that, as a result of the mess up on night one, we were upgraded to the big fancy tents with electricity, a bathroom and real beds for night two. Nice touch. The food was very good considering the basic kitchen available to the chef. Rufus was a great guide on the actual safari. He knew all the good spots to try and find certain animals and never rushed us when we wanted to take the 800th picture of the lion cubs or the baby elephant we had just seen 5 minutes before that! He was also very experienced at judging where certain animals would be at certain times and when certain things would happen. As a result, we got to see a mini crossing of the wildebeest on our last morning. We had a great time and, while the accommodation may be basic, you know what you are in for if you choose to sleep in a tent. And, in any event, who goes on Safari to sit in a room? Would recommend the company and would go with them again if I got the chance. Thoroughly recommend a safari though. While we have all seen those animals 1000s of times on TV, there is nothing that will prepare you for seeing a lioness with her cubs about 2 metres from you. Or seeing lions mate in front of you. Or being so close to a cheetah that you can see him mark his territory. And the ongoing hilarity that is warthogs. Thumbs up.
