Our guide was excellent and we saw more wildlife than we ever expected. The trip was unforgettable.
The wildlife exceeded our expectations. We saw lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hippos, and much more. The scenery was breathtaking, especially the expansive park. The weather was nice, a little cold in the morning, but never unbearable. Also never got too hot while we were there. The accommodations were very nice, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Also enjoyed the warm shower and access to Wifi. The food was pretty decent, with plenty of options, but is a bit repetitive after several meals there. The service at meals was excellent. The vehicle was excellent for seeing wildlife, although it was quite bumpy at times, especially on the way to the park. I believe it was a Toyota land cruiser. Our guide, Derek, was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He seemed to know the park very well and always seemed to find the action and wildlife in the park.

We loved it
Very nice camp, real Safari feeling, very nice staff. Very reliable service, nice to be off the beaten track.

I have dreamed about going on safari since I was a child and it was everything I dreamed of!
This trip for my daughter and me was truly amazing. The wildlife, the scenery and the whole Tanzanian experience was a trip off a lifetime. The Tanzanian people are very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to witness the migrating wildebeest river crossing, the amazing cats, elephants giraffes, zebras, rhinos and many more species. The tented camps allowed us to fall asleep to the sounds of hippos and lions in the nighttime background. We became friends with our private driver, Daudi Majengo, who had an uncanny ability to locate the animals we wanted to see. The Tanzanian government has done a great job preventing poaching and protecting these amazing animals. After our safari we flew to Zanzibar to tour Stone Town and Zanzibar's beautiful beaches, a great way to end a tremendous expedition.

Fantastic Safari
We joined Mike and Chris on their safari adventures in May of this year.My personal impression prior to joining the safari was that there would be a level of uncomfortableness. How wrong could anyone be. From the moment we arrived in Cape Town t to our flying out from the Kruger National Park it was strictly five star accommodation and treatment.
The daily programs were well thought out and executed with precision. Our stay and accommodation in the Stellenbosch Valley was truly superb. The staff could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. The food was very good, and so varying from day to day.
Moving on to our base at the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve, if anything the quality of everything just got better. The quantity as well as the quality of everything was truly superb .Our guides were friendly and so informative. Everyone in our party could not say enough believing that expectations were simply exceeded.
This is the type of vacation that one considers once in a lifetime and once again so many thanks to Mike and Chris and indeed the whole staff we encountered for a glorious vacation and indeed to the friends we met during this vacation.

Beyond My Expectations...The Adventure Trip of a Lifetime
My adult sons and I cannot say enough good things about Kanyezi Africa Tours. We knew what we wanted to see, what we had hoped the trip would be and the travel involved. From the beginning of the booking process until we set foot back in the USA was an adventure. Chris and Michael were so helpful with everything and their response time with each question was almost immediate. It was hard to imagine how responsive they were from the other side of the world. There were a few bumps that Chris and Michael had to jump over because of the restrictions and warnings from US Government regarding Middle East Travel. It was remarkable how they were able to do what they did with the airlines, and as a note of thanks for the last minute juggling, we had extra favors extended to us which spoke loudly to what good hosts they would be. When we arrived in Capetown, what a treat it was to see our names on a sign welcoming us. And then the adventure soared. Every day it was another way to lavish their guests with above average excursions that many will never enjoy. Chris and Michael were informative, friendly, charismatic and attentive. They informed us at the end of Capetown their inability to finish up the safari portion with us due to a family illness but assured we would be more than adequately accomodated. We Were!! The short flight to the game reserve was spectacular and the Sabi Sabi Lodge was incredible. Then the wonderful Safari trips ensued. We enjoyed our guides so much we put in a request that they take us on each trip. They were there at our pleasure even remembering the specific drinks each liked at happy hour (we pulled over before sunset each afternoon to capture the beautiful sunsets from different locations. One evening we were on a private airstrip and the panorma was stunning. A moment captured in memory forever. The animal sightings were of course the true highlights and the ability for the guides to go off the main roads and get up close and personal (safety concerns first and always) to really be able to see and take amazing pictures. When the journey ended and it was time to get back on the plane it was a sad silence knowing what we were leaving behind. We went on to Johannesberg, as did our travelmates and enjoyed so many things to see there. The culture completely different than C apetown but just as interesting. A couple of days there with wonderful foods and many things to do and then back to the USA. KANYEZI gets a 5 star rating from us. Everything about our Safari was beyond what we'd expected and more than we'd hoped for. I would book with them again and have recommended them to friends.

Excellent advice, support and customer service on a custom made safari inside and outside Africa
This is the second time I am writing a review of my experience of traveling with Kikwetu Cultural Adventures. Last year, Ken Benson and his team organized an 80 day custom made safari through 7 African countries for me with such outstanding logistics and customer service throughout the safari, that this year I decided to turn again to Ken and his team to ask for his professional assistance in organizing a half-around-the-world tour for me.
I am 71 years old and decided that it was now or never for me to travel to some parts of the world which always have exerted a lot of attraction over me. I communicated to Ken via e-mail my ideas of where I wanted to go and how long I wanted to stay in each place and asked him to arrange flight connection, ground transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, etc. It turned out to be the safari of a lifetime:
31 days and 7500 km by road through rural and religious Ethiopia.
One week in Nairobi with visits to museums and galleries, the Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage,
a hike through Hell’s Gate close to Naivasha, Kibera slum and a very enjoyable walking tour through down town Nairobi which is especially recommendable on a Sunday.
Flight from Nairobi to Nampula and ground transportation to Nacala, Mozambique.
From Nacala, I had arranged for a freighter travel to Singapore with a stop over in Mauritius Island, but with three weeks on my hands while waiting for another freighter to come along and take me back home to Mexico across the Indian and the Pacific Ocean, Ken arranged for a 12 day safari in Indonesia, visiting Central and East Java, Sulawesi and Bali, and one week in Malaysia with highlights in Georgetown, Ipoh and Malacca.
My journey lasted 122 days and whenever network connections were available, Ken kept track of my travels and was in contact with me and/or the subcontracted provider to make sure, that everything went according to program and schedule.
It was a most gratifying experience and I want to thank Ken, Livingstone, Paul and the rest of Kikwetu Cultural Adventures for having made one more of my dreams come true.
There is no doubt in my mind that, if you are interested in a truly custom made safari inside Africa and in neighboring countries, Kikwetu Cultural Adventures is the best choice for getting what you are looking for with regard to advice, support, customer service and price.

Great trip with great service
Our 14 days Kenya-Tanzania Safari Tour organized by African Paradise Safaris was great and unforgettable!
The itinerary prepared by John Peter for our family trip is so completed. We did enjoy very much!
We had the best guides and drivers: Isa and Salomon. They took care of us and handled everything with care. They are very professional.
They are the ambassadors of Kenya and Tanzania.
Isa and Salomon know all the parks by memory, they brought us to see every animal. We saw National Geographic for real during the game drives.
We recommend their service to everyone!

Reliable, fair price, quick responses, friendly guide and host.
When I booked the trip, Robert replied my questions quickly. He also kindly offered some help or suggestions when I faced some problems.
The accommodation and food are also nice. Although they are not luxurious ones, but with this price, I am satisfied. The rooms are clean (I traveled alone, they gave me a single room every night). The food are also delicious.
During the trip, our guide, Edward, is really friendly and keen to search the great place for animals observing. It’s my first time joining safari, and I really had a great time. We saw lots of animals during game drive. It’s awesome!
As to the Masai village visiting, it’s good for us to have choices between joining or not (if you are not interested in joining culture trip, you could choose to go game drive at the same time. Everyone could decide individually). The camp host, William, who is also from Masai village, is friendly and willing to answer any questions we have.
I chose visiting Masai village, it’s interesting to get closer to observe how they live in daily lives. But be careful, at the end of the visiting, they will want to sell you some souvenirs with really high price. It would be better to ask William about the price beforehand if you are interested in buying those things.
Although there exist some small problems (ex: you need to remind Edward to get the drinking water on the first day; they changed the schedule promptly to accommodate other group members needs; at the end of the trip, they didn’t drop us off at the hostel we live due to the traffic jam), overall they still offered great services. If you are budgeting travelers, and your point is to observe the wild animals, I would strongly recommend Karibu Safaris!
