"What a really wonderful trip! After waiting almost two years to travel internationally because of the pandemic, it was so fantastic to be away on safari again.
Aside from a few extra bits of paperwork to organize before flying, everything on the ground felt very 'normal'. The camps felt very safe and were mindful of Covid protocols (all staff were double vaccinated), without detracting from the experience. If anything, being outside in the fresh air all day is probably safer than being in a UK city anyway! It was also clear that all of the camps were so happy to be welcoming guests again.

Efficient and professional
We did a four-day trek on Mount Meru, our guide Frank was nice and helpful and the cook Cassian was really good, we ate better than we could ever expect on a mountain. The whole team (with porters) was very nice and overall the experience was great.
Side note: We booked four days but then managed to do the trek in three and we could not have a refund from Kiliholidays (which however paid all staff for the four days, as we hoped, so we are fine with it), nor for the government taxes like park fees (as we would expect). If we knew we could have booked for three days and extended (in case of necessity) we would have done it. If you think you cannot make it in three days, try it!

The best african safari experience
Me and my girlfriend had the pleasure of going on safari with Migration Venture on October '21. We got the mid-range, 3 nights in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide Tom was amazing. He is experienced so he knows all the tricks on how to get the best views of any animals we requested. He is very knowledgeable regarding all the details on animal behavior, the local traditions, and he also gave us pro tips for the rest of our trip. The luxury tent in the Serengeti was special; sleeping and hearing in the animals next to you was something I will forever remember. Dinner was exquisite. The "lunch boxes" could perhaps improve but it got the job done while out on game drives. We felt we got amazing value for our money. We absolutely recommend Migration Venture for safari.
P.S. yes, this was during covid times, go now and take advantage that there will not be as many other safari-goers so you will have the views for yourself ;) and special shout out to Tom for being awesome!

A superb life experience safari
I travelled with kitonga tours to Tarangire in Serengeti national park. The trip was so interesting. there were good meals ,good transportation, good hotels ,cooperative tour guides. It was an amazing safari.

Well-organized, reliable and professional local agency with great staff
We had an absolutely amazing time with Safari Soles, both our driver (Isaac) and chef (Denis) did a fantastic job. We saw all big species, even a rhino from a few meters in Ngorongoro; and the big cats while hunting, eating, playing and also their calves. Isaac always knew where to find the animals and often found them without radio help so we were the only jeep watching the animals with no disturbance. Everything was very well organized and comfortable despite the camping; Denis built up/down our tents and meals were ready by the time we woke up/ arrived back from the game drive. The food was excellent; very delicious and varied: starter, main dish, dessert, fruits, tea, coffee, wine and/or beer for all meals, water available throughout the day. We always felt safe yet got a true camping safari experience (hearing the buffalos eating grass next to our tent in the middle of the night / watching a 12-member lion herd attacking a buffalo / a cheetah with her calves hunting for an impala / elephant chasing away a group of lions / leopards making love on a tree.. etc). Safari Soles was also very flexible in accommodating our special needs, change requests in itinerary, accommodation and offered a deal customized to us.

Preparing the safari :
We wanted to do a 3 day safari. We read many very good reviews online and decided to contact them. We wanted a private safari and a nice accommodation.
First contact was on WhatsApp. I told them what we wanted and they gave me suggestions about the places to visit and about the accommodations.
I was very happy with the program but I preferred to change the accommodation with another one. They were very flexible and I did not feel anything was not possible. The changes I asked for looked (from my perspective of tourist) more expensive than the initial suggestions. However, I was told that my choices were less expensive and they sent me an updated offer. I did appreciate the honesty and felt directly very much in a trust relationship with them. Pone was the person who helped me in the process and who made it very smooth.

If we were hoping to get a nice guide before going, we never expected to have this level of service.
Excellent driver and true passionate of the wildlife, he shared with us everything he knew about the different species we saw, and he knows a LOT. He did everything he possibly could to show us the different animals.
He is very knowledgeable and explained many things to us, from the small birds to the big cats, he went into a great level of details about the specifics each one of them.
I went with my girlfriend and we spent 3 days with him. We never felt at any point that we would have preferred to be alone. He was here but giving us privacy as well.
We don't consider him as just our guide anymore, we really hope we can come back and go on another adventure with the man of 1000 skills, Immanuel !

Amazing and attentive!
The service they provided from start to finish was amazing. They truly went the extra mile to ensure we had anything and everything we needed. Joseph arranged everything and our tour guide Patrick was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. We also did a day trip with Jeffery who took us to some more local spots as we requested. Overall, amazing company and service. I would recommend to family and friends in a heart beat!

Good operator. Fast response to questions, communicating via whatsup & email. Ingot what was promissed. 3 day safari (2 days really, third day just walk safari) flying from Zanzibar. Picked and dropped from and to other end of island Nungwi.
Safari Africa camp was good. Good service&food! Electricity 17-21 and 05-09.
Good guides and big Land Cruiser.
