Review about Tarangire National Park by Polwach Wudhikulprapan
Overall rating
4/5

Tarangire is ideal for elephant lovers. There were several ponds that allowed us to observe them closely and saw they interacted and eventally ran off other animals like zebras as they took control of the water. The rolling hills and abundant woodland of Tarangire are beautiful. If you like the shape of baobab trees, there are so many to be seen here. What we like least about Tanrangire is that there was a kind of insect that bit everything in their paths, including us. Their bites were very irritating and more painful than mosquitoes'. So, please get your strongest insect repellent ready at all times.

Review about Serengeti National Park by Polwach Wudhikulprapan
Overall rating
5/5

Serengeti is the well-preserved home to abundant wildlife as it always has been which needs no introduction. It is the must-see park in Tanzania. People should find 4 out of the African Big 5 here, except for rhinos. We saw over 30 lions, 3 leopards, 5 cheetahs and several kinds of antelopes like Elands, Topis, Coke's hartebeest, gazelles and impalas, to name a few. Zebras and wildebeests were all over the plain. There was also a couple of big pools to enjoy hippos galore. Though it might get dusty as we drove throught the park, the endless plain and the fast-changing movements of clouds gave us so much awe. We really enjoy its idylic setting for both wildlife and landscape photography. Indeed, Serengeti has so much to offer, and we believe that most of the visitors should consider it as a dream come true.

Review about Ngorongoro Crater by Polwach Wudhikulprapan
Overall rating
4/5

Ngorongoro conservation area is worth a visit as rhinos can be found here while Serengeti might be too big and too hard to find such an endangered kind of animal. In the crater, there were big herds of zebras, buffalos, wildebeests, elephants and hippos while several prides of lions could be seen as well. The lanscape itself is unique being surrounded by the rain forest in the highland with a great plain at the bottom of the crater. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is the best choice to enjoy the magnificent view of the crater.

Review about Lake Manyara National Park by Polwach Wudhikulprapan
Overall rating
3/5

Lake Manyara is pretty small comparing to other national parks we visited. What we like about this place is that we saw lions resting on the trees which was quite spectacular, thanks to the springwater that has an influence on their behaviors. There were not so many kinds of wild animals to see here although olive baboons were notably abundant. The lanscape is a mix of plain and forest and not so scenic as Serengeti or Ngorongoro.

About: Tanzania
The best you can get from safari tour in Tanzania !!!
Overall rating
5/5

June is the beginning of the high season where we can enjoy the game drives without encountering too many tourist while it is too early for the big migration. Overall, the weather was pretty nice. It rained for just one day with slightly cool temperature though the sunlight could be a bit strong at mid day. Of course we were excited when we travelled to Serengeti and witnessed how vast it is. Serengeti was in idylic setting where the grasses and the bushes were golden and greenish contrasted with either vibrantly blue or stormy sky. So, apart from taking photo of wild animals, it is fascinating for landscape photography as well.

We were surprised that the accomodations were decent and comfortable with quality of food and other services going beyond expectation. It was such a good feeling when you can still take a hot shower in the middle of no where in Serengeti hearing the howling hyenas at the same time. The portion for lunch box is quite big and could be dull when you have them for the seventh straight days. The quality of the lunch box is normally mediocre with a lot of carbs. As for the safari vehicle was of good condition, clean and safe. We made a right decision to travel in a group of 4 people having other 2 seats available for putting our bags and photography equipment.

What we like most about this trip is our guide, Nickson, from Savannah Explorers. We appreciate his kindness, politeness and extensive knowledge of the wildlife. He spoke English well and took into account what we needed during the trip. He was flexible while managed to control the daily schedules, and he did not hesitate to request us to do him a favor by leaving early, like 6 a.m., so that we would not miss anything like the scenic sunrise or the only black rhino we encountered during our last game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Of course, we saw all of the African Big 5. We believe that we got almost every highlight during the trip, so we couldn't be any happier ticking off our bucket list. As we had a really great time in Tanzania, we will definitely recommend Nickson and Savannah Exploreres to our Thai friends.

Maasai Mara, Kenya - The perfect first visit to Africa
5/5

I had a wonderful safari experience at the Maasai Mara National Reserve and really enjoyed staying at the Ashnil Mara Camp located on the Mara River bend. James was very helpful in organizing the trip and Wilson was an excellent driver/guide. Some highlights include a large clan of hyenas stealing a wart hog kill from a lion pride, a cheetah hunting Thomson's gazelles, a leopard resting under a bush with a partially eaten gazelle stashed up a tree nearby, and the same lion pride eating a wildebeest the next day. The staff members at Ashnil Mara Camp were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and I loved hearing the hippos, lions, and hyenas at night.

Botswana, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
5/5

We have always arranged our own travel arrangements and accommodation when holidaying, but found it difficult to do so for Africa.
After approaching several agents who pushed us towards the standard group tours which only partially fitted our suggested itinerary, we luckily found Ker & Downey and Emma and Razaan in Capetown.
Their exemplary planning and service allowed us to spend an unforgettable month in Botswana, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Accommodation was excellent, transfers were allways on time and 100 % reliable, and most imprtantly we experienced a wide range of different country, from delta to desert to rainforest to open plains and savanna.
Due to this our interaction with animals, birds, the local people and the environment in general, was nothing short of amazing!
Thanks again to Emma and Razaan, BEST HOLIDAY EVER!

Great tour!
5/5

Almost perfect.
Better food and accommodation then expected.
Only caveat: the guide uses talkie-walkie all the time to get tips on where to find animals. People on the talkie-walkie literally talk all the time so you have background voice during the whole safari. Impossible to make a video which was disappointing.

Hyrax Safaris are prompt at communicating, their service is excellent and I really enjoyed visiting Maasai Mara especially during the wildebeest migration. Our Maasai tour guide was the best!

The Serengeti is worth every minute and Ngorongoro crater does not disappoint!
5/5

We loved our Tanzania tour! What an amazing experience and trip full of so much wildlife! I have been on safari in the Mara in Kenya and in Botswana and this was easily the best. The Serengeti did not disappoint; we saw four of the big five there and survived staying in our tented camp (which was really cool—and scary--to be so close to the animals). We ate lunch with giraffes one day and hippos another. Our guide Frank was very easy to get to know and incredibly knowledgable about the animal activity. We were also really impressed with Ngorongoro crater. It is amazing how many ecosystems are in such a close space. We were able to see rhino to round out the big five and even more of the wildlife that we’d seen before. We would recommend that you all put the amount of time spent in the car each day on the itinerary which would have helped us plan our flights a little bit better. Additionally, it was kind of confusing why the people we met directly never had the APS logo on their car or shirts; it worked out but just an area for improvement. The car was super comfortable and we always had plenty of water. On the way back to Arusha, we even got a remote shopping experience in a wood carving shop which was also really impressive. We would recommend Frank, Jacob, you and African Paradise Safaris to any and all. Thank you for a great holiday.
