Unfriendly and unprofessional people : very bad communication and they are just a reseller.
2/5

While the content of the safari (4 days/3 nights) was good, as for the driver and for the accommodations and food, I want to make following remarks :
-Lobo Safaris (part of Vimic group) does not organize itself the safari. The safari itself was done by Sandland Tours
-The start was disastrous : (day before start of the safari) :
- There were 2 different taxidrivers waiting for us at the airport of Arusha !!!
- We were dropped in an hotel outside Arusha (Mercury hotel) in the middle of local habitations and no decent road, and in front of a local discotheque (noise at night) !
- While the driver told us that Lobo safaris would contact us the same afternoon, we didn’t hear anything from them until the morning after. Meaning we spent an whole afternoon, waiting in a desolate hotel (there was only another African couple as client of the hotel).
- Also the payment was not what we expected : we had to pay cash, while Lobo and Vimic group advertise that they accept credit cards.
-The safari itself was good. Good driver/guide : Simon and good accomodation. The program was not followed but this was not a problem (Tarangire in place of Lake Manyara). Only the vehicle was in bad condition (old vehicle from 1996 : front lights not working, no hand brake, starter not always working and a lot of dust entering the cabin)
-The end of the safari was also not really good : the door of the luggage compartiment could no more open (after one of the two spare tires break off the car ….)
-The transfer to Moshi was OK but the hotel in Moshi was not up of the quality of the accommodations during the safari (hotel Kinodroko)

World tours will probably be the cheapest deal you will get online - though AC cars and water coolers could be a possible addition they could add. We may have had a few issues with hotel choices and Richard's manner.. more due to miscommunication than anything else.. but overall our safari from tarangire to ngorongoro to serengeti was truly memorable all thanks to our guide, driver and friend Horace.. He went to all ends to ensure we saw all animals of choice, and would want to take us further even when we were tired, with a smiling OK to supplement it!
He would spot animals way before we did, treated us as friends, and helped make it a trip of a lifetime!

Our third and best safari
5/5

Alym was attentive from the beginning. We had a specific itinerary and he totally worked with that. It was great that he is from Kenya, so he knew all about the places we wanted to visit, and it helped that he was based in Canada so we were in the same time zone and communication by phone was easy. Everything went smoothly on the safari and we had a fantastic guide.

Terrific time in Selou and Mikumi!!
5/5

Travel for Change did an excellent job all around in arranging our safari (on very short notice), catering to our requests, providing us a terrific driver, arranging wonderful last minute adventures, and finding the right spots to see all that we hoped for! Overall an experience that exceeded expectations and we'd confidently recommend Travel for Change to family and friends.

Amazing luxury honeymoon experience
5/5

Rose was absolutely fantastic in helping organise the perfect honeymoon for us. We went to Tanzania and stayed at Nomad Entamanu, Nomad Lamai, Little Chem Chem and then Kilindi in Zanzibar for some beach time. All were different and absolutely superb. Rose put together a brilliant itinerary in terms of how many days we spent at each. She is an excellent communicator, always responded to any questions swiftly and kindly, and was extremely helpful in terms of informing us about what we needed to sort out pre-trip. Couldn't recommend the Luxury Safari Company more highly.

Fortunate to have visited this region in time. Future of wildlife is in danger because climatchange

If you want to get the feeling of the wildlife and the region you must stay at least 3 to 4 days. Great to visit by own car, but certainly use the local organized sunset, sundown and night drive. We were lucky to spot the big five and the dangerous eight. Also many birds and small animals.
We stayed at Olifant rest camp. Great place to be with a spectacular view from the top of the hill. Good food, friendly people.
We visited SA self organized because as photographers it is very difficult to be part of a group. Be sure to get your bookings online long time before.

About: Safarihub
Good experience with a well organised company
5/5

We booked a 6 day safari in december 2017 with Safarihub. The main reasons for choosing them were the positive reviews and price.
The safari itself was also very good. Our guide was very knowledgeable about both the animals, the parks and tanzania in general.

One of the things we can advise is to be as specific as you can be regarding the booking of your trip and while you are at it. For example, the agency did not offer us any options in terms of lodges, which resulted that we stayed at lodges that we just outside of the parks. This means that you will spend approximately 2-3 hours a day extra driving to and from these. We would have preferred to stay at the lodges inside the park. When asking this at the agency, they told us that would have costed around 120 USD extra, a cost that easily outweighs the extra travel time. The same basically is the case for the driving around. Tell your guide what you want to see, and whether you want to spend longer in one place or in another.

Accommodation was good except for a leak in the toilet seat in Cottage 5 of Lower Thendele.
4/5

The trails are interesting, but I think they are too long before they reach the ultimate challenge such as climbing the rocks with the assistance of a ladder (the Tugela Gorge route).
