Liars and Thieves...Buyer Beware!
1/5

Having traveled to 49 countries including many developing countries, we try to book tours, excursions, drivers and accommodations with local business to help the local economy. Never have we been taken advantage of until now. Tembea personnel and staff are thieves and liars. They give the good people of Kenya a Very bad name and reputation. Calling them thieves and liars is an Insult to liars and thieves. I deposited with them for our Safari in October 2015 because of the owner's past employment with a world renown company A&K. As A&K is one of the highest rated suppliers of safaris. I assumed (wrong on my part) that having worked in their capacity, that professionalism and integrity would follow when operating their own company. Was I ever wrong. I always try to see the best in people but Tembea has left a very deep scar and they should be Ashamed of themselves. Using emails with Angelina, who initially appeared very professional and was quick to respond to my emails, she was always happy to make any changes I had. I felt comfortable with sending the required deposit for what was to be an awesome custom safari and understood the terms and conditions for cancellations and changes, I was a little apprehensive when they required the deposit by "wire transfer only". You have No recall as with a credit card should things go wrong. My fault. We decided to cancel for personal reasons, followed the Exact Tembea policy and was advised that we would receive a refund of $2,000.00 as outlined in their terms/conditions. I knew that there would be a penalty and was okay with that as I agreed when sending in the deposit. I was advised that a refund back to the wired account would be processed in 2 months. 2 months passed , no refund. I was then advised that I should pay the full amount of the safari so that the refund process would be expedited. What??? Never have I been asked to pay in full to receive a refund. At that point I Knew dealing with Tembea was a Scam. I held my frustration and continued my emails regarding my refund and then was told that it would be processed at the END of their season in October 2016. Again I kept my cool Knowing I was dealing with Scam artists. At the end of October 2016 I made one last ditch effort and still they continued to assure me that a refund was following. I know there is NO refund. So you have Been Advised and Buyer Beware. If you continue to deal with Tembea and your dream safari does not manifest correctly for you, you were warned! I am out $4,200.00. Shame on me for being trusting!

Had an amazing time with Gorilla Link Tours in Uganda!
5/5

The communication with GLT was great and easy. They were always receptive to what we needed and made sure we were getting the best out of our experience with them! The safari tour we went on at Mweya was great and the drivers showed us everything they could with the help of our GLT associate Carole! Overall had a great experience and learned about the many options GLT has to offer. I can't wait till I visit Africa again and get a chance to visit with GLT once more.

Ker & Downey took care of everything!
5/5

Ker & Downey helped make my wife and I's trip to South Africa our best vacation ever. From arranging first-class accommodations, to making reservations at fabulous restaurants, to arranging interesting side trips, to whisking us through passport control and customs, they had everything covered. And, of course, the safari itself was beyond all expectations. If you are looking for someone to arrange your safari, look no further!

Gorilla tracking uganda
5/5

I firstly want to say that the trip was amazing. Our tour guides Ben and Luke were excellent and were able to solve any situation that was occurring whether it was bad or good. We believe that the trip wouldn't be the same without them. They were always positive and answered all our questions. I have nothing bad to say about them or the agency. The car we traveled in was spacious and extremely comfortable. We would like to thank them for their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is travelling to Uganda or Rwanda. We enjoyed every moment. Thank you very much again for all your work- Simona, Klara, Slavo, Bibo, Henrich, Rasa and Gintare.

Great adventures and people with Licious Adventures
5/5

My wife and I had an amazing honeymoon trip to Tanzania thanks to Neema and the good folks at Licious Adventures. Their team organized a six-day (successful!) ascent of Kilimanjaro via the Marangu route and a five-day safari to Tarangire, Sarangetti, and Ngorangora Crater.

The people really make the company. Jonas was a knowledgeable guide for the Kili climb that had a mastery of dealing with the high altitude and pushed us to summit despite being totally exhausted. Their crew included a skilled cook kept us healthy throughout the trek and the summit porter who helped us carry the load. The safari was led by a charismatic guide named Moses who had spent many years in the parks and knew their history and the animals well. Also great food and wine that we enjoyed over sunsets across the savannah. Getting so close to the animals and campaign among zebra herds made for a magical experience.

When we come back to Tanzania we will definitely trust Neema and Licious Adventures with our travel plans.

Amazing Safari
5/5

What can I say but excellent safari. I had several questions and George answered them right away. Our guide Peter was amazing he was very knowledgeable about all the animals we saw. He positioned us for the best pictures you could image. He let us look as long as we wanted and did his best to fulfil our requests during the safari. We was able to see the big 5 in first 3 days of a 4 day safari. The food was superb out in the bush camp. Allen, the chef is a true master of the grill for all meals. The taste and seasoning was awesome, he made sure we was full every meal. The accommodations was more than I expected out of a tent camp. My wife who hates camping in a tent thought the accommodations was very good. I would highly recommend booking with Right Choice Tours for your Kenya safari. I will definitely come back for another safari during the great migration and book again with Right Choice Tours and Safaris. Thank you for an amazing time.

Experience your safari right!
4/5

We came to Tanzania with no exact understanding of what prices were and what destination were better. Thank to guys we managed to squeeze quite good safari into our budget, see many interesting places, got a lot of information. Although they haven't got the most comfortable car ever and they are not the big company with huge experience, but they are really good guides and friendly people. And by the way, they are local company unlike many others, so using their services - you support local economy.
I recommend calling them in advance, so they help organize you vacation.

Amazing South Africa Adventure
5/5

Justin was most helpful in helping us to plan this trip at short notice. We had to change the itinerary many times to meet our budget and Justin was able to revise the itinerary very promptly. We had a wonderful time in the 2 recommended lodges and encountered the Big 5 at very close range. We also had a good time in Cape Town. Justin took the trouble to call us at each leg of our tour to make sure everything was okay.

Great experience!
5/5

We (me, my brother and my mom) had a quick three day trip in February. We flew back and forth from Entebbe and stayed to nights at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The hike was outstanding and the hour among the gorillas was unreal. Justus was great regarding the booking and planning and Ben was with us during the trip and took great care of us. If you go make sure to bring enough cash, there is no way to withdraw cash in the park and you will want to hand out a lot of tips .

To conclude, we would recommend anyone to go see the gorillas and we would also recommend you use Gorilla Bookings while doing so, five stars.
