A fabulous trip to East Africa with KWSS
Our trip to east Africa was more than just a tick the bucket list - it truly is a life changing experience .. We travel quite a bit in our country and around many gorgeous places around the globe, but Africa touched us in a way very few places ever had, and the perfect arrangements by the walking survivor safaris had a huge lot to do with it ... I usually like to plan my trips myself and hence was a bit hesitant going through a tour agency - but KWSS and the owner Mr Otieno was an absolute delight to deal with - prompt on mail, coming up with intelligent and practical suggestions and ensuring the places we stayed in had character and lovely settings but were comfortable .. To top it his extremely competitive pricing worked perfectly for our budget and he is better priced than most people you will come across . His driver guides are great ...For my solo leg in Uganda for gorilla and chimp tracking I had the very affable and friendly Richard who made me feel right at home and perfectly safe in a totally unknown country. In our family leg in Kenya we had Paul -pleasant , quietly competent, very mature and extremely knowledgeable taking us through Masai Mara , Lake Naivasha and amboseli. In Tanzania we had Michael, whose sheer will to show us as many animals as he could was exemplary and his sheer enthusiasm was infectious. We will definitely be back to this part of the world with KWSS and would recommend them highly to anyone contemplating a trip to this gorgeous part of our world ! They totally deserve all the high ratings they get and more! Well done Otieno !

During our 7 days African tour, am glad that Mukisa Safaris Uganda was professionally consistent throughout our travels and did not disappoint. I loved how everything was planned and organized from our accommodation, transportation to all the activities. The staff and our guide Veronica ensured that we experienced and appreciated the tour highlights and I am grateful to have been able to experience this.

Accommodating my needs as a solo traveller
I enquiried around to go on safari, I was traveling alone and everyone's prices were tailored for 2, as I was about to give up on going to safari hello Tanzania came through for me, they were accommodating enough,we started our journey when they picked me up from my hotel room at 3:30 am from Dar to Mikumi is more than 5 hrs drive ,we stopped for coffee and continued our journey, arrived at park in time, I met with my guide after the registration process we set for some game viewing ,spotted a lot of animals unfortunately not the king of the jungle though. In between the drive we stopped for lunch of ugali, beef and greens, Very tasty. Our drive back was great but took long as traffic was a nightmare, because of exhaustion I left my wallet in the car and I immediately called the sales agent and he arranged for it to be returned. I had a wonderful time and it's all thanks to the team at hello Tanzania, from my driver who I spent the chunk of my time with, to the sales team and my guide Jacob who was very knowledgeable about everything in the park, I appreciate your hospitality. I'll definitely recommend you guys anytime. Regards Violet.

Cheap but Unorganized!
First off I would recommend this company but only because it is extra cheap for the same vacation you would get with a safari company that charged double. You must be aware that regardless of what budget company you use, you will not be going on safaris with this company rather you are joining groups of others going to the same location as you aware temporarily. Example: I was picked up at the airport and taken to a hotel where I thought I was joining my tour but the group that picked me up didn't share my whole itinerary only the next two days and then i was shuttled to join a group sharing my next two days. Every other day I had to worry that I would actually be sticking to my itinerary African Paradise Safaris sent me. Of course that didn't happen. I booked Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli with solo lodging and a lot of afternoon game drives..instead they took me to Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru where I had to share a room and ended up with morning drives and really long drives to the next location following the drive. Maasai Mara to Amboseli ended up being 12 hours in the car just to transit. My itinerary included a Maasai Village tour with no additional fee..I was asked to pay $10. The tour guide called African Paradise Safaris and they declined to pay for it at first. Great to see the animals but it did not feel like a vacation.

Super vacation in southern Africa--Cape Town, Kruger Park, Victoria Falls
We really enjoyed the tour arranged for us by Safpol. The guides we had were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. We particularly appreciated the way we were able to make adjustments to our itinerary, for example inserting a free day in Cape Town so that we could each do different activities, and changing two of the hotels for ones with a better location.
We'd recommend against taking the "sunset cruise" that is frequently included with visits to Victoria Falls. We had expected at least some view of the falls or the gorge, but the boat goes in the opposite direction. It’s just a booze cruise, the crew are too busy serving drinks to point out anything along the way, and the sunset is nothing special, so skip it and spend the extra time at the falls. By the way, you'll see more at the falls if you go in the low water season, rather than in May when there is so much mist and rain near the falls.
We particularly scheduled game drives at 3 different parks: Kruger in South Africa, a nearly private park called Tshukudu, and Chobe which is in Botswana but close enough to Victoria Falls for a day trip. Tshukudu has radio collars on their animals so it was pretty certain that we would be able to see lions and a cheetah, after seeing lots of prey but no predators at Kruger Park. It’s a lot easier to see animals in Chobe, so it was good to have that trip as a backup in case we hadn’t seen so much at the other parks. All in all, a wonderful vacation.

Pembury Tours arranged a two week trip to Cape Town, Sabi Sands and Botswana - Amazing.
I do a great deal of travel research and typically book my own vacations. Africa was a bit daunting and having Pembury Tours local in South Africa was super helpful. Heidi was great to work with - she was professional, prompt and flexible with my feedback and changes at all times.
I had plenty of options presented for locations, lodgings and tours. Heidi worked with me seamlessly to ensure me and my family maximized our time in Africa. The tour guides were super and the transfers were so helpful. The driver that Pembury arranged for us to get to Johannesburg airport stayed with us until we were safely into security - so helpful.
I would not hesitate in referring friends or family to Pembury and Heidi.

Our family experienced the wonder of Kenyan and Uganda wildlife in a positive and exhilarating way.
Wal-Mark organized two experiences for our family group of five people. Our two separate groups were kindly met on different days at the Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Rogers, the owner, toured three of us around Kampala one day while the other group made their way to Uganda. Once congregated, we all were driven to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to go gorilla trekking. Our driver, Ema, was competent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The company provided a fantastic opportunity to interact with the gorillas without spending an extreme fortune.
Wal-Mark coordinated our second set of experiences on a 4-day safari in Kenya to the Maasai Mara and Lake Navuru Nat'l Park (also included a stop at Lake Naivasha). We departed from Nairobi and drove to the parks to have a safari every day of the four. Accommodations sufficed fine even though we did not choose extreme luxury. We saw all of the animals except a few types of hoofstock we had hoped to see (we saw the Big Five).
Communication with Wal-Mark was easy. Rogers and his guides/drivers have a good command of English.
We experienced monsoon rains in both countries and both of our drivers/guides proved their competence by keeping us safe and secure. They also supplied information about animals, birds, and plant life.

Safari Online were extremely efficient and absolutely charming to work with.
I have a severe intolerance to chemical products such a fabric softener. This can create difficulties when you travel. But the team at Safari Online made sure that all the destinations on our itinerary met our unusual demands. Our 28-day itinerary took us to South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. A magnificent and unforgettable adventure. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently from the flights, transfers, rides, connections, etc. Absolutely wonderful! Can't thank them enough!

Good organization, flexible and affordable.
Good organization, flexible and affordable, Peter is a good manager and his staff is really professional and very friendly. The only defect has been the Arusha Center Inn hotel, better to be avoided, but Peter will surely find another one much better.

Best Value for money and Great Service
Africa Vacations Safaris was responsive and informative during the planning and duration of our trip. Denis, our agent, listened to our thoughts on a dream trip and delivered. The guide assigned was knowledgeable and very friendly. We were booked in very nice hotels. Everything went on as planned. In deed the team went an extra mile to make our Kenya trip one of the best we ever had.
Thanks
