5/5

My first contacts were with Evelyn and I thought very comfortable with her. Very reactive and she set up our tour on a really Professional way. The best choice were to choose Evelyn and Seven Wonders Safari agency.

A well organised, adventurous and unique trip with many breathtakingly beautiful accomadations.
5/5

The employees have a high level of English and are more than eager to give you all the help you need. Our guide was super enthusiastic and has told us many different stories about the different type of animals we saw, including the smaller ones, sort like birds and the different type of gazelles you can see on the safari. The arrival at the different kind of accomodations were all very friendly and welcoming. You couldn't escape the good hospitality of a fresh home made juice and employees that would carry all your heavy bags to your tent or room. The lodges were very beautiful and charming furnished. Further more, we were amazed by the many exotic animals we were able to see and the amazing landscape of both the Serangetti and the Krater. How immensely small you felt in the Serangetti and how extraordinary the landscape of the Krater was, not even mentioning the immense difference between those two landscapes.

Danger: big problem with "Drive Tanzania" car rental
1/5

We had a terrible and quite incredible experience with Yoeni Japheth of "Drive Tanzania Ltd". We booked in january 2017, a 4WD for 20 days, 200 USD/day for our trip in Northern Tanzania in july. We paid in advance 4.000 USD for that to an account in Norway (first strange thing for a supposed tanzanian company).

I accepted this fare more expensive that others companies offered because Yoeni Japheth promised us a car "not older than 3 years", sending a picture of a very new safari 4WD. I had insisted (that is important for the rest of the story) on the possibility for the driver of passing easily in the back of the car to be able to photograph animals from the pop-up roof.

On july 15, a car arrived at our lodge one your late with to representatives of "Drive Tanzania". But they brought a big landcruiser for 8 people (we were only two) with a barrier preventing the driver from going in the back without going out of the vehicle (what is prohibited in national parks). As I am the driver and the photograph of this trip, this this characteristic would make my safari impossible. Yoeni Japheth did know that perfectly as our mails exchanges attested.

So I said to these representatives that I can't accept this car and wanted the 4WD type we rent. "Ok, no problem, I will come back soon this the good car, take a coffee, I will pay it", was the answer in front of several witnesses of our lodge.

But they never came back ! I tried to phone to "Drive Tanzania" but their tanzanian number was a fake number. One hour and half later, we received a mail from Yoeni Japheth saying that we "choose to cancel our trip" and "no any other cars are available so we cant help" ! He didn't even offer any refund.

I immediatly asked Yoeni Japheth to call me to discuss the problem but he refused to do it, repeating in email his false allegations.

He refused later any refund so we loosed 4.000 USD and had to try to find an another 4WD in peak season. Our journey has been deeply disturbed by what I call swindle because Yoeni Japheth, who seems to live in Norway, knew that we need and rent a precise type of car.

Of course, I lodged a complaint against "Drive Tanzania" at the Arusha police on July 19. They take this affair seriously.

Excellent Safari
5/5

We had 3 days in Samburu, 1 at Lake Nakuru, 2 at Maasai Mara, 1 at Lake Naivasha and 2 at Amboseli. Eric was our guide and was excellent, finding us all the wildlife we hoped to see and keeping us entertained. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend Tazama holidays.

Excellent tour, 5star operator....
5/5

We have just finished our 8 day safari in Tanzania. It was a long proceed to find the right tour operator bofere the trip and we chose Soul of Tanzania, a relativly young and small company, but with an experienced staff.
We had the feel well before the start that we made the right choice as the company gave perfect support in the planning process.
The safari itself exeeded all of our expectations. Everything - inc all major and minor parts - went well. Our guide - Herman - is by far the best ever, I met - knows all places in Tarangirie, Ngorongoro or Serengeti to find the animals in action.

The best thing: when you are on safari, normally you have a box-lunch with usual stuff like hard-boiled egg, sandwich, cream cheese, some fruit juice, crackers etc.
Soul of Tanzania provides warm lunch (!!!) with a bottle of wine. It was an amaizing experience!!

We are a family of 4, with two kids (boy 14, girl 12). It was a life time experince for them as well.

5/5

We had a 4 days trip organized from Shoor Safaris - it was wonderfull fromt he beginning to the end. The people in the company have a lovely approach (I organized everything with Mrs. Fiona) and are very helpfull, they suggested to us right hotels, right places to see and organized our trip so that we get the most possible of Kenya. The guide Erastus was simply amazing. We will always remeber this our small holiday, everything was beyond our expectations. Big Thank you again.

The staff went above & beyond to make our experience fulfilling!
5/5

We traveled as a group of 7 young women to Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara. In the planning stages of our safari, Mr. Otieno was very communicative, always responding promptly and willing to accomodate to our needs/preferences.

Everything about our itinerary was highly organized - from arranging pick up at our hostel to having great meals throughout. Our vehicle was clean, reliable, and comfortable. Our cook, Moses, was a phenomenal and he worked hard everyday to ensure we were happy and fed. Our guide, Ibrahim, was the most amazing guide we could have asked for! He went above & beyond to give us a quality safari experience, not only in terms of seeing wildlife but also feeling safe. He was communicative, timely, friendly, caring, and very fun.

At the end of the trip, he and Mr. Otieno even offered to purchase our train tickets from Nairobi to Mombasa (as we were afraid they would sell out while we were on the safari) and Ibrahim drove us from our hostel to the train station after our safari had technically ended.

I would highly recommend booking with KWSS because the staff will work hard to make sure your experience is amazing! We were incredibly impressed by their service and we miss Ibrahim very much!

Excellent Experience
5/5

I went with 6 other girls on a 4-day safari. Walking Survivors is a great company and we had a wonderful experience with them. Ibraham is an outstanding driver - he's patient, calm and keeps time. He made sure we accomplished everything we wanted and that we saw every animal we had wished to see - seriously, he's a great driver too and super friendly. The head office was very easy to coordinate our trip with and really go above and beyond to ensure you have a nice vacation.

After our safari, we had plans to get the train to Mombasa but were concerned we wouldn't have time to get our tickets. Someone at the WSS office was able to go buy us tickets and have them ready for pick up for when we came back to Nairobi. They had no obligation to get those tickets for us, but they did help us, and them getting those tickets for us was amazing and really made the whole of our trip run much smoother.

I would highly recommend Walking Survivors Safaris to anyone and everyone. The prices are fair, accommodations are nice, and drivers are wonderful.

Swaggy Time
5/5

Kenya Walking Survivors Safari was a pretty good time. Ibrahim was our tour guide and he was legit the greatest tour guide that I have ever had, in Eastern Africa and in North America. He is hilarious and wants everyone to have a good time. He really likes dancing to Desposito and It Ain't Me by Selena Gomez so please play it for him. Kenya Walking Survivors Safari was really good to us, they picked us up from our accommodations and brought us back afterwards, they even drove us the the train station the next day because that's how fabulous they are. They are punctual and excellent with communication. Moses made us delicious food and had vegetarian options. I would not recommend the optional boat tour and visit to the Maasai village at an extra cost. Not worth it. Anyways, this was a super swag trip, I really feel like the company went above and beyond for us and had amazing customer service. Do a safari here, it will be swag.
