Amazing Safari
5/5

We just returned home from a wonderful vacation in Tanzania that included a four-day safari with Lion King Adventures.
From the minute James (our driver) picked us up at the Kilimanjaro airport we felt very welcomed and felt he was going to make our experience an unforgettable one, as it was! We spent the first night in Arusha before starting day one for our safari. We recommend that instead of arriving early and starting the safari right away.
Day one we went to Tarangire National Park where we saw many animals right away. James was very good about asking if we wanted to stop for pictures and he waited patiently until we were ready to move on. He knows a lot about all animals and always told us interesting facts about the parks and the animals. My husband loves birds and he knew the name of every bird my husband pointed to. He has a book about wildlife in Africa and showed us the pictures of what we saw.
Day 2 we drove to Serengeti National park. Amazing! James spotted animals way before we could see them because many are camouflaged.
Day 3 a few game drives in Central Serengeti then drove to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to spend the night at the hotel and be ready for the last day.
Day 4 visit the crater (caldera as James explained) until lunch time and then drive back to Kilimanjaro airport.
We highly recommend booking your safari with Lion King Adventures. You will love it!

Once in a lifetime experience!
5/5

My boyfriend and I travelled around Tanzania last April and had the chance to participate in a 4-days 'budget' safari organized by Taste of Afrika. Our experience with Taste of Afrika was wonderful from the first email exchanges to the very end of the safari. As a group of two, safaris can be very expensive but the owner of the company, Seka, offered us the possibility to join an already existing group which was travelling in the same period. Seka was very professional and reliable, as well as flexible to met our requests. In Arusha, we were welcomed by the local manager Herrieth who explained to us the details of the tour. The next day we left early in the morning to visit Tarangiri National Park where, despite being in the rainy season, we managed to see an increadible number of animals. For travellers with limited budget or time, I can totally recommend Tarangiri which you can visit in one or two days safari from Arusha or even better from Moshi. But of course the next stops on day 2-4 were the highlight of our safari: the legendary Serengeti National park (mostly around the Seronera area) and the Ngorongoro crater (a collapsed vulcano covering an area of more than 8000 sq km), with its unique combination of wildbeast and livestock, as Masai people are allowed to graze in the crater. The friendliness and professionalism of the driver/guide and the cook accompanying us only made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience with Taste of Afrika. I would never have thought so, but safari is really a once in a lifetime experience!

Awesome Trip
5/5

Kili Slope was amazing!
Ziggy, our guide, was uncanny at finding and identifying the wildlife. He always knew where to look. He was extremely professional and was always looking to make our trip as good as it could possibly be. This meant both giving us great advice as well as acting on any request we had.
Saleem, our cook, exceeded our wildest expectations for food and service on the trip. Who would have thought you could eat so well in the back country?

The support staff at Kili Slope also did an amazing job with our safari. From the ease of booking, to being picked up/dropped off at the airport, everything went incredibly smoothly!!

Highly recommend this Kili Slope and would most definitely use them again.

Excellent
5/5

We had an amazing time. Thank you for everything.
Christine was incredible. The communication and the service are excellent. Email replies were prompt and all questions answered accurately.
Hoppy was our fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable about the animals, helpful and has a great sense of humor.
Hoppy has amazing eyes for spotting wild life and it was a pleasure to be able to learn from him and feel able to ask as many questions as we wished.
We will not forget the fantastic game drives, delicious food and the vast experience of our guide Hoppy. One of the most incredible experiences of our lives. Wildlife Safaris is highly recommended.

The perfect mix of cycling, safari and exploring Kenia
5/5

A wonderful experience. A varied program, no dull moment. Rene set out a wonderful round trip, starting and ending in Navasha. We cycled it all, sometimes it was hard work, but it was fun all the time. We followed really special routes; sometimes you came in completely non touristic areas, where you really experienced life in Kenya. And had the feeling we were welcome (an attracted a lot of attention)! We had several safaris; with of course the climax: the Masai Mara, where we had a perfect guide who was able to show us the big five; all with a prey (and from nearby). Very pleased with the service from African Cycling. They know Kenya, know what cycling is, have their local contacts, organize a support car and team, arrange good hotels and food, provide good service

Company not reliable
2/5

We booked the Safari with this company because they confirmed to get the lodges we wanted. As soon as we paid they said they were no availibities. So we have been to other lodges (one was an hotel) and very far away from the places we have to go. Peter (Manager of the company said he will do his best to get the lodges we wanted but he never called them (we checked directly with the lodge). The lodges and hotels we went were cheaper than the lodges promised. Concerning the Safari, it was a 4 days Safari Serengenti/Ngoro Ngoro: 2 days were only driving fast on awful roads and not a Safari at all. We paid for a 4 days Safari but had only one day and a half. They were not breaks for lunch (only 20mn the first day, and it was in the car the second day! My back is completely destroyed!!! We asked the driver to have more breaks but he didn't listened to us. The animals we saw were amazing but in awful conditions!!!

Exceptional Guides - Great Adventure Awaits
5/5

I was part of a private safari group of 20 people this July, for 7 days. Hamadi and his team were exceptional across the board. Pre-trip, Hamadi managed the individual needs of our large group with grace and patience, and made sure our needs were well attended to. During the trip, his guides and drivers were each amazing - safe drivers, and most importantly, incredibly knowledgable about the animals we were viewing, the culture of the tribes we visited, and the history of lands we traveled through. I got quite an education as well as many thrills as we sighted, leopards, cheetahs, lions, hippos, even Black Rhino far far off in the distance that only a seasoned guide would know where to look. I never felt unsafe, or any concern during the trip. Hamadi and his team had everything covered. I'm already planning a future trip with my family - and will definitely connect again with Face of Africa without hesitation.

Incredible Experience and Highlight of our Trip
5/5

To begin with, the booking of the tour was extremely smooth and easy. Communication with Chris at Encounter Africa Safaris was fantastic, always getting back to us within 24 hours, if not earlier. Making payments for the tour and confirming arrangements was extremely easy. This was the best value for money tour we have ever completed in our travels, it did not break the bank yet was the most incredible travel experience of our lives. Jason our Airport transfer and driver was the most welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable driver. The food at the Broadbill Forest camp where we stayed was the best food we had on our travels through Africa, The accommodation was impeccable and the staff delightful. The tour to see the Gorillas was incredible, we felt so lucky to be able to have the experience and get so close to these beautiful animals. Encounter Africa Safaris did an incredible job or organizing our tour without blowing out our budget, like many other tour companies do. Highly Recommended!! and we will absolutely be back to use the same company in the future.

An amazing experience
5/5

My friend and I did the private tour 6 day safari which included Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Easy Travel were fantastic in every way. Fabulous driver and vehicle, the accommodation far exceeded our expectations, the company were easy to deal with and very accommodating and the scenery was stunning. In particular we loved Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks. We are so glad we chose Easy Travel and would highly recommend them to others planning a safari in Tanzania.

Quite an experience
4/5

toured for 9 days in Kenya and Tanzania. Great adventure. Some very rough roads to endure. Had two different tour guides, Michael (in Kenya) and Steven (in Tanzania). Both were fantastic. The accommodations after long days of driving were always a treat and exceeded exceptions. There were a few misunderstandings on what was covered in the fees. Be very clear when agreeing on the final itinerary and what is not included.
