Out of this World!
All we can say is that we had the BEST holiday we have ever had in our lives! Every moment was memorable and we still can’t quite believe it’s true! Booking a holiday of a lifetime like this was a big decision for us and from the moment I started to speak with Erick the experience with SS was great. Erick catered to my every request (and there were many) and made numerous amendments to our plans to ensure that when we booked and finalized, everything was included and perfect. We booked our international flights and Erick tailored our holiday around them. He took care of every transfer and every accommodation, we didn’t need to worry about a thing. From the moment we landed in Nairobi every thing went smoothly, only a couple of times we had queries with them while we were there and they were resolved quickly. Deo our guide for the Safari was amazing! Deo ensured we saw everything we requested and more! We enjoyed his company and we felt comfortable with him at all times. The best lodge we stayed in was Farm of dreams lodge and the best campsite we stayed in was Sero Tented camp in Serengeti. Every where was good but they just stood out as the best. All accommodations had great food and great facilities, you don’t need to worry too much about toiletries as everywhere supplied them so we brought a lot back home! Then on to Zanzibar to relax we had a lovely time at Zanzibar magic boutique hotel and had days out to Nungwi and a snorkelling dolphin barbecue trip, which were both very enjoyable. There are plenty of beach huts along the beach where you can enjoy fantastic seafood and other dishes very cheaply, and there are massage huts where you can get a massage and braids etc for half the price of the hotel. We had a massage with Fatima at ‘Hut Beach’ which was lovely and relaxing and ate in the huts next to this several times. The food at the hotel was fantastic and the hotel was lovely.
All in all we were more than pleased with SS and if we are ever lucky enough to return to Tanzania, we wouldn’t hesitate to use SS! Thank you so much for creating our amazing experience :)

Good vibes, good game drives
Wonderfull experience traveling with Suricata Safaris! We where well taken care of before the trip by Daniel, who came to our hotel to brief us the day before the safari, he also saw us after the safari for a debrief and to get some feedback. A very serious company, who look after their clients. Our tour guide and driver Salim was wonderful, knowledgeable, and had eyes in the back of his head to spot animals with. The chef for the groupe made 3 homecooked meals per day, and there was never a shortage of food. The sleeping arrangments were good, but keep in mind that you will be camping, so pack acordingly (headlamp/flashlight, toiletpaper, towel, flipflops, and something to wear in the evening). The breakfast and dinner with all the cars traveling toghether was fun and we meet a lot of new people. The parks/sites that we visited need no introduction, but we saw plenty of game on our trip, as well as some breathtaking scenery.

Friendly and knowledgeable
I took a private tour with David and his team around Burundi and Tanzania. I spent most of my time in Bujumbura where David took care of all the accommodation and transportation. Whatever I needed he was able to arrange. We took a tour around Burundi off the beaten paths, visiting Kigwena Forest, Nyanza, Agasumo ka Mwaro waterfall, Karera Waterfall, Gitega, and many local sights. Very immersive tour. In Tanzania we visited Gombe national, had a great chimpanzee hike and amazing boat ride in between.

I reached out in Feb for help to organise a tour in August. From the very start, Sian was patient, accommodating, gave the best within our indicated budget, and was able to offer good advice. The trip itself -we had seamless transfers throughout the entire journey from Vic Falls to different lodges in Botswana. We were well taken care of :)

A Wild Adventure with Suricata Safaris
Our experience with Suricata Safaris was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by Daniel, who gave us a detailed briefing, to the very last day, everything was organized perfectly.
The Arusha Day Trip was an incredible start. During the walking safari, we were lucky enough to be surrounded by 11 giraffes, calmly grazing as we stood right next to them. It was an experience we will never forget! Our guide, Raimond, made sure we felt safe and informed throughout, and Nicola, our driver, was full of energy and humor. After the walking safari, he even helped us buy new clothes since our luggage didn’t arrive with us. Suricata went above and beyond to help us track our bags, which arrived safely at our campsite, all thanks to their efforts.
We also had a peaceful canoe safari with our guide, Frank, on Lake Momella. While the canoe safari wasn’t packed with wildlife, the serene surroundings made it a relaxing and scenic way to experience the park.
The highlight of our trip was the 5-day camping safari. Our guide, Damian, was a true professional and a brilliant wildlife spotter. Whether it was lions, elephants, or leopards, Damian seemed to have a sixth sense for finding animals! The campsites were in great locations, offering stunning views and basic but comfortable facilities. Don’t expect luxury, but the warm sleeping bags and mattresses ensured a good night’s sleep. Hearing hyenas in the distance as we drifted off was a thrill in itself.
The camp crew and chefs were amazing. Every meal was a delight, especially after a long day of game drives. We felt incredibly well taken care of, and the whole experience was enhanced by the friendly team and the great people we met along the way.
For anyone looking for an authentic, well-organized safari adventure, we highly recommend Suricata Safaris. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Amazing Experience, Great Team!
Our trip with Suricata Safaris was fantastic from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport by Daniel, who briefed us on all the safaris, explained everything in advance, and answered all our questions.
The Arusha Day Trip was a real highlight. During the walking safari, we were surrounded by 11 giraffes, calmly feeding, and we could stand right next to them and watch. Our guide, Raimond, led us safely through the park and provided great explanations. Our driver, Nicola, was also very entertaining and even helped us buy new clothes after the safari, as our luggage didn’t make it on the flight. What was especially helpful: the team tracked down our luggage and sorted everything with the airport, so it was delivered directly to our first campsite.
Before the walking safari, we had a peaceful and relaxing canoe safari with beautiful surroundings, led by our canoe guide, Frank. If you’re expecting to see many animals, this might not be for you, but the calm and beauty of the experience made it worthwhile.
The 5-day camping safari that followed exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Damian, was friendly, fun, and an excellent wildlife spotter who adapted to our wishes. The safari brought us much closer to the animals than we ever imagined. The campsites were good – nice locations with great views, and most of the showers/toilets were okay. While not luxurious, the sites were comfortable for sleeping, and they provided us with warm sleeping bags, mattresses, and pillows. If you’re lucky, you might even see a few animals like zebras or antelopes near the camp, and at night, you can hear the hyenas howling.
A big shout-out to the chefs as well – the food was delicious every day, and without the tent crew, we wouldn’t have slept nearly as well!
One of the best parts of the trip was meeting so many wonderful people along the way. Whether it was fellow travelers or the Suricata team, everyone made the experience even more enjoyable.
