My mom and I booked an amazing Tarangire National Park safari through Tanzania Choice Safaris. It was an incredible experience that blew all of our expectations out of the water!
Our safari guide made sure that we were safe and comfortable while viewing some of Tanzania’s most amazing wildlife. We saw everything from lions and elephants - to zebras and giraffes. I will never forget how enjoyable the whole experience was and credit it to the team at Tanzania Choice Safaris. They helped us select an itinerary that included (but was not limited to) a lodge stay, game drive, and delicious picnic lunches. There were many options to choose from and I would happily book through them again.
I left Tanzania impressed by the hospitality and kindness of everyone we met, both within the Tanzania Choice Safaris team and without. It truly is a beautiful country and I give my highest regards to the amazing company which helped my mom and I experience it.

Go Touchdown provided a South African tour which was personal, service centered and upscale.
For those of you considering a safari in South Africa, we highly recommend Go Touchdown Tours. If you are looking for a small upscale group tour which is guided by caring, knowledgeable and detail oriented professionals, then this tour company is for you.
Their stateside representative, Angie Main, was very knowledgeable and accessible. She answered emails within 24 hrs and was flexible in arranging her schedule when a group conference call was requested. Upon arrival in South Africa, we were greeted by a tour guide who was prepared to take us to our first hotel, Seasons Spa. It was clean and fairly spacious with a front or back porch. There was a common area in the middle of a 4 room configuration. We took the Elephant and Monkey Sanctuary tour. Highly, highly recommend it. Very interactive.
Thabo, our guide, was with us the entire tour. He was punctual, organized and very knowledgeable. His attention to detail went even so far as to warning us about the potholes in the road in case we got jostled. I could write a lengthy list of the many thoughtful things he did to to make this a memorable trip for us. Suffice it to say that Go Touchdown has an invaluable employee in this man. He is a wonderful representative for this company.
Dunkeld Estates is a beautiful resort. We highly recommend the horseback riding. The rooms are beautiful!
Humula Lodge is exactly how we envisioned a first rate accommodation. Our room had a front porch next to the river. The flowing water was a constant background sound. The staff truly cared about our needs and our wants. A special shout out to Blessing and Ayanda. They both are hardworking young men who catered to our every need. Ayanda not only made our soups and delicious bread but served our meals, as well. Blessing was the bartender, front desk clerk and conceriage. He did everything with a warm and gracious smile.
Our safari guide, Lindo, possesses exceptional tracking skills. He drove our group on 5 safari outings. Each time he never stopped looking for signs of animal activity. We were so lucky to have him as our guide through the Bush.
We returned to Seasons for our final 2 days. Visiting Plainsburg Reserve was one of the highlights of our trip. There was an abundance of animal sightings including elephants, giraffes, hippocampus, kudus and even a jackal. Buffalo Soldier was an outstanding and knowledgeable guide.
If you are contemplating a South African safari you would not regret choosing Go Touchdown. We loved every minute of it.

Above and Beyond Our Expectations in 2019 and 2022
Wayfairer Travel went far beyond our expectations when we traveled to southern Tanzania and Zanzibar in 2019. We spent two weeks exploring the Rufiji River riparian, grassland, and woodland ecosystems and wildlife of the Selous Game Reserve on land and boat. This was the first time we saw packs of wild dogs on our many trips to the continent. We then took a few days on Zanzibar to snorkel in the turquoise ocean and sight see historic Stonetown. The local contacts were professionally-trained wildlife guides who knew some of the Wayfairer Travel staff personally. Our accommodations and meals were 5-star fabulous and the staff at each safari camp and beach resort went above and beyond to give us a memorable, luxurious experience. Wayfairer Travel's Carmen Castrovillari covered every detail and answered every question we had before the trip. Carmen continues to provide excellent communication as we plan our next trip for September 2022 to South Africa. Her patience with our apprehension to travel and travel changes during the past 2 years has been outstanding and professional. Great Experience
I and my friends had an amazing 6 days group tour in North Eastern Uganda starting from Sipi falls - Kapchorwa, to Moroto - Karamoja, Kidepo Valley National Park and Aruu Waterfalls. Our meals and accommodation were all perfect, it was such a great memorable experience.. Our driver guide Brian was super knowledgeable with great customer care. I highly recommend this company for those who wish to experience Uganda in a unique way.

We had the most fabulous trip. Brilliant from start to finish.
We were two couples on a 3 week trip which was one of the best trips ever. Our (quite specific :)), likes and dislikes were taken into account and each leg of the holiday was special in it's own way. It was great to be able to relax in the knowledge that everything was organised and anticipated in advance. I cannot recommend Benjamin and Siya Phambile more highly. In fact, we are already discussing our next trip, planned for 2023.

Dreams come true
The whole safari adventure was amazing. Thanks Innocent and Salim for your professional approach and quick response. This was a lifetime experience, that I will definitely repeat. From day 1 till the end of the trip everything was like living a dream. Being able to see with my own eyes that amazing nature, the wild and exuberant life, fauna, etc. was an unforgettable experience. The whole safari adventure was amazing. Seeing the animals passing by free is a once in a lifetime experience! Visiting places like Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Tarangire was incredible.

Highly recommended!
Max was friendly, helpful and professional from the start to the end. He picked us up from Ifakara, took us to Mikumi national park for a night, and then on to Dar (we unfortunately didn't have more time to spend there). We had some great game drives in Mikumi - Max's car is excellent, he is incredibly knowledgeable about the park, plants, animals, birds... And brilliant at spotting them! I have done a number of safaris, and this was truly the best. We will certainly be back!

Awesome Safari; Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire
We had an awesome time on safari with Vervet Safari Tours. We found Jasper waiting for us when we landed in Seronera airstrip, Serengeti with his offroad four wheel drive and inside of 10 minutes we started enjoying fantastic views of wildebeest, zebras, warthogs and elephants roaming the expansive grassland.
Exploring Serengeti with Jasper was a lot of fun, because he knew all the animals we encountered, their behaviour and other interesting facts about wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater was equally captivating because the animals were abundant and the views jaw dropping. The other nice surprise was the visit to the Hadzabe bushmen at the Eyasi Basin, Tarangire was a little bit underwhelming, probably because we had seen so much action in Serengeti and Ngorngoro.
The accommodations were great too; comfortable, with excellent staffs and good food.
Vervet Safari Tours is the best and I have no doubt that you would also find them a worthy choice.
