10 star safari
Out of 5 stars, Travel for Change in Africa gets a 10+++. Of the 500 tour operators in Arusha, Tanzania, Travel for Change is the one to work with. My husband and I just returned from an amazing safari and 4-day extension to Zanzibar. Patricia, Silvia, Praise and the entire team delivered the trip of a lifetime. I was impressed with their attentiveness to our wishes and their attention to detail. Everything about the trip was well beyond our expectations, and our expectations were high as I had been to Tanzania before. Patricia did a phenomenal job of planning, Silvia as our primary contact on the ground and Praise as our guide. I appreciated their respect for the animals, cultures, environment and the rules of the Serengeti. The accommodations were some of the finest we've ever experienced, particularly the Kubu Kubu tented camp. Praise took the time to explain what we were seeing and was very knowledgeable about the many bird species, plants and trees, in addition to the mammals that everyone goes to see. The entire team made us feel very special and well cared for. We can't say enough or thank them enough.

Living an African dream with jovial John the expert tour guide with flair and knowledge!
An African trip of a life time - exceeded expectations
We travelled with John Cooper's African adventures in May 2017 for a three week fully escorted safari through Namibia and Zimbabwe.
Both countries delivered amazing opportunities to experience Africa and exceeded our expectations.
We are not usually tour people but truly John's tours are so professionally run, customised to meet time constraints, specific needs and budgets. He provides excellent briefing newsletters and always answers question so you are well prepared before you take off.
Our tour was intimate with only four other people two of whom had travelled to Africa with John before (I think this is a resounding endorsement for his tours).
We often felt less like tourists but more like a group of friends traveling together.
John takes care of just about everything, has insider knowledge and so much is included there were no hidden surprises only extra options if you wanted.
The accommodation he sourced provided us with a range of experiences including some mind blowing luxury.
We had the most amazing time. John knows Southern Africa inside out and upside down. He is a font of knowledge and negotiated with authorities as required which was comforting and knows where to go to maximise you exposure to animals. We saw the big 5 which is always a dream of anyone going to Africa as this is not guaranteed.
We highly recommend African adventures to anyone wanting to go to Africa without the stress of figuring out out where to go, where to stay and what to do. It was indeed value for money.

Breathtaking; spiritual experience; countless "pinch me" moments; peaceful, invigorating culture.
We're 2 Canadian gals about to embark on our "4th safari" through Dove Adventure. Jumbe (owner) and Salim (driver/guide), represent the best in Tanzanian tourism; they're men of integrity and depth of character; and facilitators of dreams. The safari packages have always reflected our needs and wants. Accommodating to my special needs has exceeded my expectations. Service is 24/7 with our safety being uncompromised. Salim has a stellar knowledge of the geography (we never get lost!) and of animal behavior (here kitty, kitty!). His vehicle is kept immaculately clean and operational and well stocked with goodies and coffee! Tanzanians are peaceful and very interested in engaging with us. Connecting with various tribal cultures has been a huge highlight and honour for us. We have been blessed with lifelong friendships making Tanzania feel like our second home. Did I mention that we're preparing for our 4th safari through Dove Adventure?

Very fantastic impresion after the safarii and contact wit the nature.
We were on the safari all family with children two days. Very fantastic nature and views, contact with local real conditions (animals trees). This safari was organised by Max Abeid (local organizer of safari). We had very comfortable accommodations in tents hotel. Postive food and very good organised transport operation from Mombasa to the Safari Tsavo East.
Max Abeid is very flexible person for turist. Moreover he is thinkin about security and sefty turists during all safari.

Good organization, good guide, fantastic places
We selected a 4 days camping tour with the vist of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This solution was one of the cheapest, but the quality of the tour was good.
Regarding the organization, they pick-up us at the airport even if we arrived at 1.30 AM, and at the end of the tour they arrange for us the transfer to Moshi.
Our guide was young and friendly and perfect for young group as ours.
During the safari we woke-up early in the morning (5.30-6.00) and saw more animals without the congestion of other cars.

Amazing!
I wish I could give this safari more than five stars!
From the beginning, Danielle was responsive, helpful, and so kind. Traveling from the states made scheduling seemingly difficult, but Danielle made it so much easier. She made sure we knew all of our transport options, and asked specific questions about why were coming, food and drink preferences, etc. Danielle is also a wonderful chef, and every meal she made was incredible!
Upon arrival at the Skukuza Airport, Brandon was waiting for us and took us on our first drive! He is so knowledgeable and we got along immediately. Throughout all of our days, Brandon pointed out an incredible amount of animals, and gave us tons of information about the park and the wildlife we were seeing. We always felt safe in the vehicle with him, and couldn't wait to go on every drive!
We could not stop talking about this safari for the rest of our time in South Africa. It surpassed our expectations, and could not be run by a nicer duo.
My only regret is that I didn't book a longer safari with them. Go for as long as you can - it will be well worth it!

Sensational Serengeti Safari
We just returned from our 8 day Northern Tanzania safari and the experience provided by Good Earth Tours and our guide, Prosper, from start to finish went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Prosper did an incredible job throughout the entire trip spotting animals and doing his best to get us close to the action while still being respectful of the animals. He also had a ton of knowledge about the wildlife and the local tribal cultures. We saw so many amazing sights and animals, we feel truly fortunate to have gotten to experience such a beautiful country. In fact, we were sad to leave at the end of our trip. We felt like Prosper had become part of our family and Tanzania our home away from home! Even though the roads were quite rough getting from Ngorongoro to the Serengeti (as others have mentioned) we were glad our itinerary enabled us to get all the way to the Northern Serengeti. The scenery and wildlife up there were like something out of a movie. We would highly recommend anyone planning a safari to Tanzania to make sure they can get all the way up there. Also, don't pass up opportunities to check one of the Masai or local villages as it really helped give us a sense of what life is really like for those that live in the area. If you do choose to stop, just come prepared with some extra cash as you might be encouraged (especially by the Masai) to donate to their water fund and patron their little jewelry "stores" to support the village. We chose the "Premier" level of accommodations for our trip and every place we stayed was amazing. Friendly, attentive staff, good food and amazing views at each location. Our two favorite stops were the Maramboi Tented Camp on Manyara Lake and the Ang'ata Tented Camp in the Northern Serengeti. Before our trip we thought it would be a once in a lifetime adventure, but after our time there, we're already talking about wanting to go back! Also, given everything we experienced and the accommodations, the price was beyond reasonable. Thank you again Good Earth and especially Prosper for helping create memories for our family that we'll carry with us the rest of our lives!

Unforgettable safari
We were a Danish family consisting of 6 persons aged from 13 to 68 years. We were put together with 2 persons more, so we were 8 passengers. We had an extraordinary, fantastic experience in Masai Mara - we succeeded in meeting lots of different animals including the big 5 (except the rhino). We had a very dedicated and well-informed driver/guide, mr. Obama himself, who contributed to a high spirit in the vehicle and in the evening. Rachel Obonyo from the company was always very helpful and attentive. We loved the camp. It was simple but charming and the food was excellent.

A Terrific Trip!
This was my third trip to Africa and I found this company in a random search. I understand some of the hesitation from other reviewers on this site of this company, but it's important to remember that the you are not dealing with a company from the States. Henry and his team (Anna) are top-notch! When circumstances arise they are on them in an efficient and timely manner. African nationals are worried about today and may not necessarily hold your hand making sure you are 100% prepared for your upcoming experience. You need to be responsible and do some research as to the culture, governmental requirements, health issues, etc. Based on other tour companies I've used over the last 20 years, I would strongly recommend them if you keep these comments in mind. The facilities are mostly universal, so if you're spending $3000 or $10,000/person, you're probably going to the same lodges and will run into each other multiple times during your stay. Our guide James was highly knowledgeable and had a great work ethic and personality. I get the sense that Henry only works with those with a very strong customer service background. Just time your trip before or after the Great Migration (like I did last time, but not this time) or you will not get to experience the full magnificence of this beautiful and its wonderful people. I strongly recommend this company to those who want a trip of a lifetime!
