About: Kenya
Kenya and our 3-day mini-safari lived up to my hopes of what Africa and the game preserves should be
Overall rating
5/5

So VERY pleased with our tour service - Skywide Tours. My wife got approval to present at a conference in Nairobi on Tuesday. I emailed Skywide asking for a 3-day package to Masai Mara and David responded within 12 hours. After looking at our travel arrangements, I emailed back on Wednesday night asking to move it forward by 1 day - to Sunday. Again, David responded in short turnaround to confirm this was manageable. We met David at our hotel at 7 AM Sunday, along with our guide, Wachanga. During the next 3 days my wife and I were continuously impressed with Wachanga's engaging personality, his vast knowledge of large animals, birds, plants and geology of the Rift Valley, which he imparted while we BOUNCED along along the dirt roads which snake throughout the Masai Mara National Park. We found out that after being a school teacher for many years, he now is one of the longest-running guides in Kenya. As a result, in addition to his commitment to ensuring we saw as much wildlife as possible, his ease in the mechanics of a multi-day safari - as well as being on a first-name basis with many of the other guides and wardens in the preserve - made the whole experience extremely smooth. We stayed in OL Moran tented camp, where we were pleased to discover that our tent had a shower/toilet attached. The food was simple, but filling. Overall just what we expected for safari accommodations.

As we were coming back into Nairobi we decided to engage Wachanga for the day on Saturday, 4 days from then, to go through the Nairobi National Park, David Sheldrick elephant orphanage and the giraffe center. Again, David and Wachanga were quite accommodating. We finished with a tour of the Kazuri Bead Factory, which employs several hundred single women producing incredibly beautify necklaces and bracelets. We had wanted to try an authentic yama choma meat meal, so we had a late lunch at a restaurant Wachanga arranged.

During the day on Saturday we realized that our flight out the next day wasn't until 11:30 PM, so we asked if Wachanga could take us to see Hell's Gate National Park. Again, this was arranged without difficulty at literally a moment's notice. Hell's Gate offers multiple activities for a 1-day excursion, including the only park where you can leave the vehicle; a close-up view of the escarpments of the Valley wall; a walk up a narrow gorge with 'escape routes' up the side walls in case of a flash flood; and a close-up look at the geothermal plants that provide 10%+ of Kenya's electricity. On our way back we stopped at Lake Naivasha and took a 1-hour ride to see water fowl and hippos.

As you can tell from this long review, we are enchanted with Kenya, and enthusiastic about Wachanga and David from Skywide Tours - their flexibility and local knowledge made this the perfect week trip! We encourage you to use Skywide, request Wachanga, and tell them that Alan and Diane sent you!

Tanzania’s southern parks at the end of the rainy season

I had been already twice in Tanzania but never visited the southern NP. Great experience, very few people, nice scenarios and a green landscape since we were there just when the rainy season was ending.

We did a wondeful holiday with this company, thoughtful and well organized. The reservation of the safari was very easy with Martha.
The team has been careful from the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport. Always helpful and flexible.

We enjoyed 5 marvellous safari days with Franky (the best guide in Tanzania - eagle's eyes :))

Also the accomodation they chose were fantastic with a wonderful view and service!

A unique experience - with a team that pampers you in the middle of a wonderful nature!

Ahsante sana!!!

Namibia is a wonderful country! I loved everything about it. The wildlife, people, accommodation, the weather, food and my guide was fantastic.
The highlight was when we saw many different animals around a waterhole, I felt I was dreaming.
I had an amazing time there, I loved every moment of it!
I am sure that I will return soon.

Great time in Namibia with Indigo Safaris
5/5

My daughter's friend recommended using the services of Indigo Safaris and it was a good choice :)
Ines has made a great job to prepare our ittinerary in a very short time.
Our holiday in Namibia is now over and we all would like to thank very much Ines and the Indigo Safaris for arraging it for us. We have had wonderful time in beautiful Namibia, seen a lot, done a lot and experienced a lot. We have seen most stunning scenery in the world, met Namibian people and tasted their hospitality, seen variety of wild animals and travelled long distances on gravel road without any problems. Now, we just hope that one day we will return for more.
We also would like to thank Ines for arranging the ballon safari with Eric and his team (Namib Sky Baloon Safaris) which was great, everything went so smoothly we didn't even realize we were high up in the air already. They are true professionals in what they do, we even landed directly on the trailer which transported the ballon to the site, that was a masterpiece.
I would recommend the hot air ballon safari to everybody, safe and great experience and of course the view from above was spectacular.
Once again big thanks for all your hard work and we will contact you in the future when we decide to visit Africa again.

Wonderful 13day safari in Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara
5/5

We came back from our 13day private safari with Easy Travel. We were still dreaming about the wonderful moments we had in Tanzania. It was an amazing experience with the company, their services are professional, efficient and detailed oriented.

Start from the planning, working with Maryam was a joy. She was always prompt to reply any questions we have. She also went out of her way to ensure our requests were taken care of. She kept daily communication with us while we were on the safari making sure everything went well.

We requested Gerald to be our guide, our trip experiences definitely proved that we made a perfect decision. Gerald was a very nice person who took a great care of us. He was professional and took pride in his career. We were impressed by his true passion about animals and nature in his country. We learnt so much about the animals, the Masai culture and Tanzania from him.

We had travelled to many countries, this is definitely the best experiences we had with a tour company. A big thank you to Gerald, Maryam and the team at Easy Travel. We will be back!
