Completely amazed at the quality and professionalism of this experience
5/5

My experience with Breakdown Safaris went beyond my expectations to say the least. Communications, service, the tours and all the planning were phenomenal. The safari tours including game drives, river safari, walking safari, and chimpanzee tracking were amazing. The guides were professional, knowledgeable and fun. Our needs were attended to as well as anticipated at every phase of our trip. The shopping trip, snorkeling and sailing and all other tours were well planned and valuable.

Jenni had understood our needs and wishes and arranged for us an unbelivably excellent experience.
5/5

Jenni arranged exactly what we had expected and more. She met us in person and continued to keep in touch and communicate to ensure that we were well taken care of and that we know what to do and expect. Tanda Tula had been an excellent choice of lodge and again exceeded our expectation in services and comfort. Our guide Luk had been very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and accommodating. We have seen more animals than we have expected and much closer than we have expected. Of further mentioning was the tracker, Glen, who was calm and very professional. Over all we are very satisfied with the organization, the venue, the safari and the people.

VERY BADLY SERVICE!! MANAGED BY AN INCOMPETENT MANAGER!!
1/5

Our dream began on October 23 but soon it turned into nightmare. We were a group of 6 persons to a safari of 13 days with this company and felt deeply defrauded specially for his manager, Mogakolodi Serumola, an authentic liar and swindler. I am sorry to say it this way, but it took us show restraint, it changed his camps, deprived us of games drives and it never faced the consequences. Always it was hiding and evading responsibilities. It is not possible to treat the people who pays of the form that this person did. This company should not be promoted without a supervision thoroughly. I have done already many safaris in Africa and it had never lived not equal at all. In a evening game drive safari we could not sleep in our camp because the guide was not finding it and ended up by sleeping six members of the group in a floor of a small boma of the local women without food or water and the manager was never facing the consequences he nor returned to us the money paid for the not received services in spite of the fact that he said to us that it would do it. One defrauds total.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

This was a perfect experience for two generations. From the ease of booking and tailoring our adventure to the safari itself.

Shaun took the time to get to know us and ensure that everyone was catered for. While it all seemed easy, we are sure that this is the result of excellent organisation and, as important, strong professional relationships forged over time.

Having never done anything like this, we didn’t truly know what to expect. However, the safari itself exceeded our expectations.

This was a truely private and tailored experience. Our only disappointment was not being able to spend longer.

An unforgettable experience
5/5

We booked a 4 day safari with Meru slopes and had an unforgettable experience with them. I would highly recommend them to all and if I was to do a safari again would not hesitate booking with them again.
Booking
We got a quote from Geoffrey which was very reasonable for the 4 day safari and beat any other quote we had had. Geoffrey requested a 15% deposit to secure the booking which we paid and got confirmation from Geoffrey that it had been received. From booking to arrival he was always available on whatsapp to answer all questions which we found to be of great help.
Arrival
We arrived at Arusha airport an hour and a half later than expected. Emmanuel was waiting for us there. We apologised for the delay and that was the end of that. Not a single mention or complain about how he had to wait for us etc. He was jovial and entertained us with polite conversation.
Safari
We started at 6am and were advised there would be 4 others joining us. We had a wonderful group and we all got on well. The vehicle was equipped with a fridge and ample space for charging phone, cameras etc. The safari far exceeded any expectations we had. We managed to see the big 5 and many other animals including a cheetah. We were lucky enough to see a baby leopard. Our guide Freddie was just brilliant. I’m pretty sure he has eyes like an eagle as he was able to spot animals form a distance. He was very knowledgeable on the wildlife and answered all questions asked. We felt comfortable throughout the safari and never had a single instance where we felt he was rushing or taking too long. He made sure we were happy at all times.
Food
Godfrey was our chef for the trip and the food he prepared was sublime. The variety and portions were ample and we were never left hungry. He asked us all regarding our dietary requirements and as agreed was able to cater for the halal diet.
I would definitely recommend Meru slopes and would not hesitate booking with them. Geoffrey is more than accommodating and is available to contact from booking to the end. If you’re reading this and thinking about booking with Meru slopes I would advise to book with them and you will have an awesome time.

Fantastic tour and excellent guide!
5/5

We booked a private safari with Papa Musili, it was the second time that I traveled with Papa Musili Safaris and again the tour was absolutely amazing!
Before booking, we had a rough idea which National Parks to visit but we weren't sure about how to combine those and where to stay, so Willie from Papa Musili happily helped us to sort it out and in the end we had the perfect tour for us!
Everything went well, we were picked up at the airport, and met our guide right away. Willie is an outstanding guide, he knows so much about the animals, their habits and also about the plants and trees, so every single game drive was really delightful and very interesting.
We were always given several options for early and not-so-early game drives so that we really could enjoy the days just the way we liked it.
Even when we mentioned special requests on short notice, like we asked for traditional kenyan food, or another visit at Sheldrick's in Nairobi, Willie organized it for us.
I can definitely recommend Papa Musili Safaris, I traveled twice with them and when I come back to Kenya, I'll definitely book with them again. There's no better way to do a safari in Kenya!

Amazing experience
5/5

I chose the "4 Days Experience of Murchison Falls" and everything was just perfect! As a woman travelling alone and unfamiliar with the country I was concerned about safety, but I felt safe all the time. Reagan (commercial) and Stanley (guide) were very welcoming and ready to answer any question, they made sure all meals included were vegetarian, as requested. The car was quite large (seats 7 people + driver), clean and very comfortable, with a roof that opens so you can check the animals more easily. Pillows and bottles of water were also available.
My experience with Yala Safaris was very good and I would definitely recommend their services. Their price was one of the best in the market and the service was of high quality.
As for Murchison Falls, this is an amazing place where you can spot up close several animals. I saw giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, many birds, elephants and even a lioness with babies.

Roger Turski is knowledgeable, professional, competent, and addressed questions with clarity.
5/5

Having done some exploratory investigation on Botswana beforehand and relying on my previous trips to Africa, I presented my wish list to Safari Lifestyles which, in turn, addressed my requests quickly and within a budget I had presented. Safari Lifestyles and the safari experience were beyond expectations, a lifetime memory that has enriched my life. I feel privileged and humbled to have been able to connect to this beautiful part of the world and to witness the incredible bush and people of Botswana. Words cannot express my grateful thank you for a job well done by Safari Lifestyles.
