Great & affordable Tour
5/5

Peter, our driver, was amazing! He was always on time, explained everything and made sure we were able to see the big 5, although we had booked the 2 days Tour only. The hotel the agency had booked for us was good too... Nothing luxurious, but good for 1 night.

Excellent ,everything was beautifully organised by Tammy via email.
5/5

This was our first trip to South Africa so we sent Tammy our wish list, what type of accommodation we liked and an indication of our budget. She came back with a proposal which I don't think we even need to tweek.Between booking and the date of our trip Tammy kept in contact and promptly answered any of our queries. We were met at the airport ,taken to our hotel and given our itinerary. Next morning Lele Mbinda picked us up promptly and took us on the first of three tours in Cape Town. The tours were adapted according to the weather and our special interests. We flew to Durban to pick up a hire car for the next stage of our trip. All the instructions got us to our hotels easily and each had its own character. The Rhino Ridge Lodge was one of the highlights. During the three nights we stayed we went on six game drives with Hala who ensured we saw an amazing variety of wildlife, identifying any we didn't know. The truck seldom had more than four passengers and you felt like you were on your own private safari. The staff at the lodge itself were friendly and helpful, and the food well balanced in terms of size and variety. The staff sing for residents birthdays was something special. As visitors from the UK the only hairy bits were driving on dirt tracks in a hire car in Rorke's Drift and Hluhluwe Imfolosi Park but that was inexperience. It was a wonderful holiday beyond our expectations and we are very grateful to Tammy for her organisation and suggestions.

About: K Safaris
A wonderful life time experience full of fun.
5/5

It was my first time visiting a Widelife Reservation Centre and I was initially apprehensive. My apprehensive soon gave way to fun in the hands of our able tour guide, Richard who thrilled us with stories about Uganda and the Widelife Centre. He made sure we visited all the different animals at the centre with the guidance of the Widelife centre guides. We latter has food and drinks.

The trip to the Source of the Nile and Lake Victoria was equally thrilling. We had lots of fun with the Deejay and music on the cruise. We ate deep fried Tilapia fish and drank Nile Special beer. Richard is really good at this job. Kudos to him.

Best way to see Kruger
5/5

When we decided to visit Kruger we were looking for a company that would spend the entire time in the park . On previous visit to South Africa I had booked a mini Kruger safari only to find we were booked into a private game reserve on the edge of the greater Kruger area and only spent one day in the park itself. Right from our first enquiry Wild Planet were so helpful, e-mails were answered straight away so we were able to do detailed planning from our home in New Zealand. We were able to incorporate a drive along the Panorama Route, Blyde River Canyon and a visit to an endangered species centre as well. We told Wild Planet what we wanted to do and they did all the planning for us.

The actual safari was way beyond our expectations, our driver/guide Chris worked tirelessly to make sure we saw as much as possible, ably assisted by Benjamin our cook/guide providing delicious meals under the stars listening to the sounds of the African bush. We covered huge distances and saw as much of the park as time permitted. We were rewarded by sightings of the big five plus numerous other species all of which thrilled us.

Africa is a place that gets under your skin, we will be back, and certainly will use Wild Safari again ! Thanks guys.

wonderful experience with an awesome guide (Joseph)
5/5

I went on a Big Yellow Truck tour with Absolute Africa this past September and while in Uganda, we partnered with Joseph, who gave us such an incredible experience while visiting. The gorilla experience was out of this world amazing. It will truly be a top travel highlight when I look back on my life years from now. While there, a few in my group also visited a local family who owned a coffee plantation. I've been on coffee plantation tours in other countries before, but what made this one special was the interaction with Joseph and all the extras he added in terms of interaction with the local children. So endearing. And the family from the coffee farm was just so sweet, too. Thank you, Joseph, for going above and beyond our expectations. You are a true gem...a wonderful soul. Hope to meet again in life one day! Best of luck to you in all you set out to accomplish! (Sorry for how long it took me to write this review!!)

Loved this Safari Company - Very Attenetive ad Informative
5/5

Good communications, great safari. We loved it and the trek in to see the Gorillas was very successful. There was not one thing we would have changed except that we may have picked up the tour in Kigali with the same tour company to avoid the long drive from Entebbe, but in saying that we got to see a lot and stopped on the Equator for some fun.

THE WORST SAFARI COMPANY EVER!!
1/5

We pay to this company, Bush Baby Calls, for a safari of 13 days, 12 nights and it was the worst safari that we have never done (and already we have done several). We had many problems of logistics and his manager, Mogakolodi Serumola, never helped us. Only it worried about receiving the money. It took breakfasts from us, show restraint, you have dinner, housings in campsites foreseen, it made us pay income to park of our pocket, took us game drives... an authentic shame. Even one night his guide left wire drawing us in the middle of the bush because he was not finding the camp and we had to sleep in the huts of the local some. And the manager never faced the consequences. An authentic calamity of company. A misfortune could have happened for his pathetic management of the safari. An authentic swindle of company.

Incredible Adventure
5/5

I could not have imagined how truly amazing our 6-day safari would be. Though the living conditions and food are not luxurious by any means and the long hours in the van can get uncomfortable, i found myself missing every minute of it once it was over.

I made a few videos about our journey that you can watch here:
