Unforgettable!
James organized for us the classical package; Nairobi-Massai Mara-Diani Beach. Drivers were amazing, specially Jonathan at the Massai Mara. Hotels were rightly choosen.

Great Trek
Taste of Afrika did a great job on our Kilimanjaro trek. Great guide and driver. Seka even arranged for our transport to the airport the next day and coordinated our PCR test. They took great care of us and we highly recommend them.

Popote is a local agency, with no European intermediary, and that's exactly what we were looking for. The exchange with Sabino was very easy, he was always available to answer all our questions quickly. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, whether for transfers or hotels.
KILIMANJARO
We climbed Kilimanjaro Machame route in 7 days. The whole team were great and caring to us from start to finish, with lots of attention throughout the stay.
The tent was very comfortable with good mattresses. The food was excellent with 3 hot meals a day, and plenty of it.
The ascent would not have been possible without our 2 extraordinary guides Mtey and Omari and without all the superb team of cooks and porters: Emmanuel the future guide, Jérémia the cook, Rachidi, Issa, Pau, Msorongo, Junia, Ibrahim and Emmanuel .
It has been a wonderful week by your side. Beyond a trek on the Golden Roof of Africa, it is a real human experience. We will not forget you. Neither yeyeeeee!
SAFARI
We made 5 days of camping safari (one day in Tarangire, 3 days in Serengeti and one day in Ngorongoro crater) with our French speaking driver guide Denis and our cook Ali.
Denis, a real ace at the wheel, allowed us to see many animals and observe them for as long as we wanted. We didn't expect to see so many and so close it was amazing.
The car was very comfortable, as were the tents we slept in. The campsite allowed us to be as close as possible to the animals and to hear them at night. Finally, Ali's meals were delicious.
We had an unforgettable experience with the Popote Africa Adventures team, whether for the ascent of Kilimanjaro or the Safari. We recommend them 1000%, you can go with your eyes closed and your stay will be amazing!

Amazing experience. Everything was great. The guide/driver Endeni was professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind and full of sense of humor.
The lodges were outstanding. The safari was stunning. We felt as if we are on the national geographic channel. The vehicle was spacious and luxurious.
The communication with Justice prior to the trip was fluent. He is very professional, responsive and answered all the questions we had. All the information he gave us, was found to be accurate.

Amazing vacation in Tanzania. We did 5 day Safari and 3 nights in Zanzibar. Lion King adventures sets everything up for you. From the transportation to and from airport, the hotels, the food, and all the water/soda/beer you want during Safari. All of our hotels were amazing and the staff at these hotels cannot be beat. The best part of the trip was our guide, Salehe. He was so easy to talk with and so knowledgeable and passionate about his country, the animals, the plants, and the landscapes. Cannot recommend this vacation enough. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience
I really enjoyed my trip. That was incroyable experience. I saw so many animals. The guide Chedi is so funny and he taught us so much about animals and culture of the country. The foods making by the cook was really tasty. The owner Bartho is extremely understanding and he make sure that everything is perfect.
It’s worth it, I recommend.

Fantastic one week trip through Kenya thanks to Joseph and his team
Just back after a fantastic one week tour through Kenya. It was organized by Joseph and his team. Due to Corona, I reached out to various local operators at very short notice for this trip. I booked with Joseph because of his impeccable track record here and on Tripadvisor. He also impressed with his responsiveness - he quickly followed up on every whim I had (I'm sure he must pretty much hate me :-)). His pricing was also quite competitive.
Regarding the tour, it was Lake Naivasha (Hell's Gate NP => the bike ride is highly recommended - a very different safari experience), Masai Mara (fantastic of course) & Lake Nakuru (rhinos). For the 5 nights, it was nice and the drives not too cumbersome.
Joseph was honest enough to admit that I probably could get better quotes for the Diani extension I had in mind if I booked the hotel directly (which I did - relying again on his suggestions). Since the tourism business in Kenya is down unfortunately, I got lucky and with Patrick, I probably had one of the most experienced guides the country has to offer. Knowledgeable, good company, safe driver. I could not have had a better travel companion. A big thank you to both for great memories - I'll be back. :-)
