Parakuyo organized my Kilimanjaro climb, Serengeti safari and Zanzibar stay on Spet of 2021.
First, I want to be sure to let readers know that I am not, in the slightest, an experienced climber/hiker - especially on anything over 9,000 ft. Upon arriving at the Machame route gate, Melek John, and his experienced guides KNEW to help me pace myself (pole ploe in Swahili) to ensure I sumitted the mountain. Melek, Idris and Alexander were with me EVERY step up the mountain and down, to ensure my safety and are absolutely responsible for making it a positive and memorable experience.
How Parakuyo was able to top that with a FANTASTIC safari experience is testament to their commitment to their customers. The safari was amazing. We saw the great migration of the wildebeest on day 1. We saw EVERY top animal on the Serengeti except the cheetah. The safari accommodations were top notch: the tents, the food, the service. All exceeded expectations and left nothing to be desired.
Parakuyo is top notch, and unparalleled in Kilimanjaro and safari excursions. I highly recommend them, and want to use them for ALL of my upcoming African excursions if I can.

Good budget safari operator, has own chefs and does not sell clients and runs safari even for 2 peop
We booked a 4 day safari and even noone joined it happened as planed. We had a good guide/driver Mourinho and a friendly chef John who cooked us very tasty food. A minibus and places to stay were budget type but good value for money. We saw everthing we wanted even though last day game drive was shorter than expected.

Hello Everyone,
We were in Kenya in July 2021 with my fiancee ( wife now :P ). First day after our flight Lawrence took us to the office and our journey with Trailfinders begun. Amazing experience from start to finish!
Perfect! From start to finish, this safari was amazing. Philimon and his team are very professional, but with so much friendliness that you feel you have known them a long time. The communication before the tour was excellent. The boat ride into the Delta is so wonderful, it is hard to put into words. Philimon is patient and you can ask to stop and take as many foto's as you need. The camp is Africa at it's best. This is the way Africa and the Delta should be experienced. You feel close to nature, but also comfortable. It is a thrilling experience when you take a shower, while watching an elephant gracing a few meters away, but don't worry, no one else can see you and the elephant does not care. Philimon and his team make sure you are safe during the safari and will guide you in the do's and dont's. They made every possible effort for us to see all animals. Back in Maun, Philimon continued to assist us, by taking us to get our covid tests and the offered to help if we further needed it. We will definitely be back again and definitely use Walking stick tours again. Value for money and a great experience!

Kilimanjaro 6-days hike
We booked the classic Kilimanjaro 6 days hike on the Marangu route and really enjoyed this adventure! Our guides, Hussein and Joseph, as well as the other crew did a marvellous job bringing us to the top of Africa and showing us an once in a lifetime view!

Awesome experience
We did a long 10 days safari with 3 kids 8,12,18. our guide was Emanuel Shirima - “the best”!! He managed to keep us all excited about waking up rather early every morning and eager to jump on the Toyota jeep to explore a new corner of the park. Emanuel is a highly knowledgeable person but would not hesitate to tell you he doesn’t know something if this is the case. This happened to us on two of the hundreds of questions we asked him. He is very friendly with very good manners but most importantly he made us feel safe every moment he was around. You have this inner feeling that you can trust him!! He also have eagle eyes and it sometime felt like he was setting pre-scheduled appointments with many of the animals we spotted. We had an excellent experience and would highly recommend you to pick Emanuel as your guide. He gave us family memories for life! Thank you!!

6 Days Amazing Tour with Bushtop
We did a 6 day tour in September covering Amboseli and Masai mara national parks. We used local flights between the two parks to save on long drive time which turned out a good call! Before the trip began Bushtop Kenya safaris gave us an in-depth itinerary of the entire week and were very responsive and prompt throughout our email correspondence.
In Amboseli, we had Tony as our guide and Patrick in Masai Mara and both of them were awesome. Their rich knowledge and networking skills with rangers and other guides really helped us identify some specific locations in the parks where we could find the wild animals we were looking for.
We had luxurious rooms reserved for us. They had great food on all days we spent there. During full day game drives, we had packed lunch boxes and plenty of bottled water along the journey. We were fed massively well!
