I had a great time with Suricata Safaris. Our guide Lewis and our cook Ben were amazing. We were eating home-cooked food that was great compared to lunchboxes many other people had.
A slight downside was the state of the toilets in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, but this is not the fault of Suricata, but rather than the National Parks' administration which manage the campsites.
I would advise anyone to bring warmer clothes as it can get really chilly in the tents and also on some sleeping bags the zippers were not working.

We booked a private trip to Rwanda through Matoke Tours. From the moment we landed at the Kigali airport we were taken care off. Matoke made sure we had the best guide and everything was perfectly organized. We could basically lay back and enjoy beautiful Rwanda and it’s very friendly people. We went to Akagera, Kivu lake, the gorillas and the Nyungwe Forrest. In 11 days . It was one of the best trips we ever made, thanks to our excellent guide (Ezra), the local tour operator (Tim & Palast Tours) and of course Rob and Matoke Tours

Magnificent experience
I chose African Big Cats Safaris after speaking with other 6 Companies on safaribookings. First of all, the guy from their office, Justine Justice was verry serious and very prompt with all our questions and advised us with diferent itinerary and price categories to the final itinerary ( 1 night Arusha, 1 Tarangire, 1 Ngorongoro, 2 Serengeti). At the airport waited for us our guide Lord, the best you could get for such an experience. We are a family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 kids, 16 and 10 yo … Lord is a very nice guy, speaking English very well, but also French and Spanish, very polite, punctual, very educated and well informed about many subjects. He implicated kids in many discussions. The car was in good conditions, found it washed every morning, with a lot of cold water, juices, even bear and wine in the fridge…Lord was restless and managed to show us the big five , beetween tens and hundreds of zebras,impalas wilderbeest,girafes, elefants,hipos, hyenas, jakals, mangustes , even a crocodil….so, for us was a complete experience, we strongly recomand African Big Cats Safary and especially their guide Lord.

The experience if a lifetime
We have been on a fantastic safari with African Big Cats Safaries. Tarangire, Ngoronhoto and Serengeti were the magnificent places our safari has taken us to visit. To be very honest words are not enough to express our gratitude to both African Big Cats Safaris and to our guide Lord! We could never dream to see so much but for sure we could not expect a better guide! Lord, our guide, raised the bar so much … not only a very good professional but also a very knowledgeable individual regardless of the topic! Sure you expect the guide to know the places around and to know about the animals, but you don’t expect to meet someone that could very well be your business colleague or your good neighbor with whom you want to enjoy a barbecue during the weekend. We have enjoyed every minute spent with Lord and benefitted to the full from his passion for the job! One lion family, one ghepard or one pack of elephants was not enough! He was not into box ticking, Lord was all about delivering an experience that we will not forget (11 years old son, 16 years old daughter, my wife and I). We saw plenty of animals, big and small, solitary or social, but it was so much more. As Lord would say, it is not good to give up, so we didn’t! Therefore if you are considering a safari than African Big Cats Safaris, Lord and the team (Justine Justice eid a great job in planning the entire trip) will most probably raise to your expectations and deliver a bit more!

Right before Christmas Fahamu Safaris made our trip to Mikumi an amazing and unforgettable experience! It's remarkable that even though our request was very last-minute they managed to plan and realize our trip perfectly!

Smooth, professional and efficient
Service was very good. The tour was put together in less than 24 hours and all ran smoothly. The guide (Goodluck) was very knowledgeable about wildlife, fauna and flaura. He really did his best to get us to viewing sights which was great. We saw all the the animals that we wanted to see because of Goodluck’s efforts.
We initially wanted to do a self drive safari, and in hindsight we are pleased we chose LK as we would not have managed to see all that we did so it was well worth it.
Overall it was a safari to remember and we would recommend Lion King.

Forthcoming and professional
We went for a 5 days (4 nights) tour of 4 National Parks (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti & Manyara) under the guide of Lewis who was the best driver/guide ever. Very interesting and knowledgable, really made our stay a funny and interesting one. Night in Ngorongoro was very cold (7°), so definitely bring some warmer clothes, it will be the best used space in your suitcase. Also a good tip: bring micro-fiber towel because nights are cold and regular towels won't get dry in time for next morning's trip to another park. And if you are traveling exclusively for safari and have extra space in your suitcase plus a sleeping bag at home, bring it with you, otherwise they will provide you with one, but be aware you won't know for sure the next day which one is yours.
