Trip of a Lifetime!!
There aren't enough words to express how amazing it was to go on safari with Lion King Adventures! They were a true pleasure to work with from my first inquiry until we were dropped off for our flight to Zanzibar.
Ms. Pendo walked with us every step of the way for almost a year to set up this unforgettable vacation for myself, my husband and 6 of our family/friends. We did a 5 day mid-range safari and used 2 jeeps to accommodate our group and luggage comfortably. We celebrated birthdays and our wedding anniversary on this trip and LKA made sure that every location we stayed in knew and celebrated these milestones with us. LKA even surprised us on our first day in Arusha with a private barbeque at their beautiful residence and that was when the bond was truly forged before our adventure. We were able to meet the owners and many of the other staff members. We danced, we laughed, we drank and we even climbed a waterfall behind the house!
Our tour guides, Salehe and Gilbert, were outstanding! They did a wonderful job of explaining details about the animals and added in a stop at a Masai village at the request of the group that was unplanned. They also got us as close as possible to all of the animals. I'm still so impressed with their ability to spot animals way in distance that the naked eye can't see. The jeep was always immaculate each morning because they took the time at the end of the day to make sure it was tidied up. They truly care about their work and cared about us and our experience and it showed. If we could have brought them with us to Zanzibar we would have!
Every accommodation we stayed at was filled with wonderful staff, food and housing. We are all still in awe of this magical experience! I'm so happy I found them and I can't wait for our toddler to get a little bigger so that we can bring her back and have her join us on our next Lion King Adventures safari....because there will definitely be a next time.

High Five for Safari Big Five
We give a high five to Safari Big Five from our family. They organized a dream vacation for our family and everything was fantastic. We were always excited to see our Safari accommodations ( they were so beautiful with excellent service and food). Imran from Safari Big Five was there for every question and made us feel like royalty. Our Guide Samuel was amazing and everyone should request that he leads your Safari . His knowledge of the flora / fauna, geology and culture were outstanding. Safari Big Five also Accommodated our love of hiking and canoeing so we were not in the 4x4 all the time. We will recommend Safari Big Five ( Imran and Samuel) to all of our friends and suggest you to contact them first!!!

Amazing safari experience!!!
We enjoyed 5 days of safari with Lion King Adventures and we could discover the biggest parks in mainland Tanzania(Tarangire Serengeti Ngorogonro Manyara's lake)
We have been welcomed at the airport by our guides who have been attentionate and passionate to share their knowledge. Our guides spoke perfect French and English.
We had the chance to see all of the big 5 except rhinoceros for which we will come back again with the same company.
For accommodation we chose luxury version and the lodges exceeded our wildest expectations, with spacious rooms with stunning views over the Tanzanian landscapes.

They really went above and beyond my expectations.
While booking the safari, Tom was always quick to respond to the many questions that I had via whatsapp. I think I even called to ask him something when it was like 2am in Kenya (forgot about the time difference) The tour guide (Edward) was very informative about the animals we came across and just questions that I had about Kenya in general. We had a small group and he took care of our needs and helped me out a lot when he found a covid testing site for me and drove me to the location which wasn't something that he had to do (i needed the test to fly back home). Edward is a very skilled driver which was required for the traffic we sometimes encountered while en route to the parks. I highly recommend this safari company!

Dream Team
We had a magical experience in Tanzania thanks to this tour group. Abraham stayed in touch with us, Douti was a superior guide, and we had a wonderful time. Tanzania is such a beautiful country; we loved the Serengeti and all the animals, but Ngorongoro with its scenic views and friendly people was our favorite. We loved the luxurious accommodations and excellence food (fruits and vegetables actually grown on the grounds!) and felt we got great value for the money we spent on upgrades, (we are too old for sleeping on the ground!) I was especially happy with Douti for showing us the wonderful gift shop at Tanzanite Tour. I was able to shop there for the souvenirs I couldn’t find anywhere else. Also got a good price on a tanzanite ring that I love. We cannot thank Shengena Travel Team enough. We will never forget our trip with them.

Very professional and attentive to the tourists.
We booked a 4-day safari tour and everything was good: the service, the program, the food and above all our guide Benjamin was amazing: he was very well organized, he knows a lot and he is extremely friendly and caring.
You should rather book directly at the tour operator once you are in Arusha and not online, so you pay less.

Owner is awful
Sekanawo Gondwe did not spend one penny of the money we sent him on our safari. First, he tried to get us to send him the full amount for the safari 6 months in advance of the safari. Then he tried to add people to our private safari. Finally, we sent him the other half of the money 1 month before the safari. He never made reservations on our behalf. He never sent any of the accommodations our money. We even gave him extra money to book our PCR tests and he failed to make those reservations. He continued to lie to us and say he would make the reservations and they never materialized. He lied to us all the way up to the moment the Diplomatic and Tourism Police arrested him Arusha and charged him with obtaining money by false pretences. Every word that comes out of his mouth is a bold-faced lie. Steer clear of this unscrupulous operator.

Awesome Safari - Experience of a lifetime!
I really enjoyed my Safari with Hillary, Lewis, Ben and the whole team. The reservation was easy and communication very clear as well as prompt replies for whatever questions we had.
The driverguide Lewis was always patient and very good at finding the best spots for watching the animals. The food was deliciously prepared by Ben. And all of them were always in a good mood and just fun to be around. It was an awesome experience!
