About: Botswana
Saw animals I didn't know before
Overall rating
5/5

We enjoyed a lot the trip. We didn't know a lot of Botswana before, but all the people were friendly and we felt welcome. The guides were motivated and had fun to search for the animals. And we saw plenty of them. Usually no long searching for it we're necessary to see something. In South Africa also inside a camp we had to drive much more to spot something. I can really recommend Botswana. We were in Chobe and Okavango Delta.

About: Kenya
My Trip to Kenya – It Exceeded All My Expectations!
Overall rating
5/5

Kenya had long been on my travel list, but honestly, it went far beyond what I imagined. The safari we did in the Masai Mara was simply incredible. I had never been anywhere where nature felt so wild and breathtaking.

I was quite concerned about hygiene and cleanliness beforehand, but both the hotels we stayed in and the restaurants we visited were far above my expectations. The hotels were very comfortable, and the food was delicious and safe.

We visited just before the high season, the time of the Great Migration, but even so, we were able to see many animals in the Masai Mara: lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and cheetahs. The only animal we didn’t spot was a leopard.

In Nairobi, the Giraffe Centre is an absolute must-visit. Getting up close to giraffes and feeding them was an unforgettable experience.

We will definitely return to Kenya during the Great Migration season. I’m already excited about seeing the Masai Mara again, and perhaps even the Serengeti. Kenya is truly a dream destination for nature lovers and safari enthusiasts.

About: Uganda
Uganda an amazing country
Overall rating
5/5

My husband and I did a 9 day tour of Uganda with Dav Safaris at the beginning of June. It exceeded our expectations. We arrived in Entebbe mid afternoon. I must say I found the whole process at the airport challenging and funny. After experiencing immigration queue jumpers, a whole family pushing in in-between my husband and myself, so I needed to wait for him to be processed before finding our bags, having our finger prints scanned and then trying to access our bags from the carousel where people blocked the carousel with at least 3 trolleys each, I thought to myself this is going to be an interesting trip. It also took me a couple of days to get used to seeing people (rangers, security guards and the like) walking around with machine guns. Just a heads up, you can only have 1 person at an ATM at a time. Well we started our trip with a visit to the rhino sanctuary, seeing so many rhinos up close was great and you could tell that the staff are very passionate about the conservation of and ultimately reintroducing them back into the wild of Uganda. With our tour covering Murchison Falls National Park, a boat ride on the Nile in Murchison National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, a boat ride in the Kazinga Channel , chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Bunyonyi, and Mabamba Swamp, we were able to see a large range of animals and birds. The animals seen included elephants, giraffe, rhinos, hyenas, lions, leapord, Jackson Heartbeast, crocodiles, Cape buffalo, Shoebill Stork, Thompson Gazelle, Civet, shell-less tortoise, warthogs, hippopotamuses, baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, chameleon, chimpanzees and of course gorillas. Uganda is a bird lovers paradise, we saw at least 75 different bird species and we weren't even looking for birds. The people were warm, friendly and welcoming. They all seemed extremely happy and genuinely thankful that we chose their country to visit. The landscape of Uganda is gorgeous. Uganda has something for everyone and if you are only going to visit 1 country in Africa I encourage you to make that country Uganda.

Exceeded Expectations
5/5

From the very start I knew this company was the best choice for my safari trip. Brian, my tour consultant, was always extremely helpful, answered all my questions, texted back quickly (both before my trip started and also during the tour when I had concernings), and made sure everything was according to my needs. Even when I had to make a couple of changes to my itinerary, he was understanding of it and rearranged everything.

I booked the 7-day Kenya and Tanzania Safari on a budget fare, which was so much more than I had expected for the value I payed. All accomodations were comfortable and clean, but the highlights for me were Nyati Safari Camp and Simba Camp, which offered two completely different but great experiences. Overall, the food was good, especially in Tanzania because of Erika, the amazing cook that travelled with us. As for the vehicles, they were in good state, comfortable and didn't have any problem at all with them, except for a couple of windows that were hard to open.

Both my drivers, Simon in Kenya and Jonas in Tanzania, were extremely skillful in spotting animals, answered questions about wildlife and local culture, and gave extra information about the animals and their behavior. Jonas even prevented I got scammed once. They were both respectful around animals and tried not to get inappropiately close to them (which, I learned, not every driver cares about), although they would sometimes drive somewhat fast when approaching them, and that could be worrying.

In sum, the whole tour was beyond-satisfying and I got to live this incredible experience without any disturbances or complaints. On the contrary, I'm just thinking about when I'll be able to go back again.

Did Okavango Delta safari for 2 nights and 3 days tour. Services (occomdation, food and mokoro & walks) were excellent and guide could explain well.

The tour was reliable and staff (guide, chef and support staff) looked after me well.

Fantastic Itinerary, Great Service, and Amazing Trip
5/5

Claire really provided superior service in helping me out with a tweaked itinerary to squeeze in as much as possible in the 7 days I had to work with. Spent two nights in Victoria Falls with the great folks at the Ilala Lodge Hotel, 2 wonderful nights on the Chobe River at Muchenje Safari Lodge, and 2 great nights down in Khwai on the Okavango Delta at the Mmatsebe Tented Camp. Trip included transfers from Victoria Falls to Kasane, round trip charter flight down to the delta from Kasane, and then a transfer back to Victoria Falls for my flight home. Claire made everything seamless, provided great notes along the way as I wanted to try to maximize game sightings, and worked to get me back over to Victoria Falls vs going home through Maun, which was a much more expensive flight book endeavor. The final detailed itinerary including contacts, timing, and an app to have everything readily available was great and everything went perfectly according to how it was scripted. No issues anywhere along the way with the transfers, checking in at lodges, or charter flights with Mack Air. Really couldn't have asked for a better trip and Claire really selected three great stays for me along the way. Each were like staying with family and really enjoyed the folks and food. Game drives around Chobe and Khwai were really special. Lots of elephant, zebra, impala, giraffe, painted dogs, hyena, crocs, hippos, a group of lionesses with two cubs, two male lion brothers, another pride of lions with a single male and lionesses, and to cap off Africa's Big 5 for me, a male and female leopard down in the Okavango Delta. I have pics that would make the BBC and Discovery Channels jealous, lol. Would definitely recommend visiting with Claire for your booking needs and this itinerary worked really well for my time and inbound and outbound flight options.

10 days Birds and general wildlife photography tour to western Uganda
We are a family group of four adults and from 20th to 30th June 2025 we visited Uganda for birds and wildlife photography. We chose the Wide birding Eco Tours Ltd after checking the reviews on the internet. The itinerary was prepared by Mr. Davis according to our requirements. We visited the Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable N. Park, Queen’s Elizabeth N. Park Budongo forest and Murchison falls N. Park. With the help of Mr. Davis we have seen and photographed many birds and animals. We took several boat trips in which we had the opportunity to see and take photos of birds and animals such as the shoebill, the African fish eagle, many species of king fishers, bee eaters and various water birds. Furthermore we took photos from a real close distance of elephants, hippos and crocodiles.
Mr Davis is an experienced bird guide. He knows all the birds knows where to find them, and has good connections with other bird guides.
In general we had 10 wonderful days in Uganda full of action travel enjoyment.
Thank you Davis for taking such good care of us

Organized and strategic
5/5

The safari experience with Geff was absolutely incredible.
His team —our driver and our amazing chef— made this an unforgettable adventure.
Everything was wonderfully organized: the meals, the places we stayed, every detail was beyond expectations.
If I had to recommend it a thousand times, I’d do it with my eyes closed.

Always going for your money
2/5

Kenya-Tanzania 11 days safari trip. The safari was good but the company is not trustworthy. We booked more than 6 months ago to avoid surprises and they have been very responsive all the time. But, the day we departed, they told us we had to pay about $400 each extra if we wanted to sleep on mattresses and not on a sleeping bag on the floor. They blamed that Tanzania sleeping options were too basic. So we paid but I am sure that was an excuse to get extra money on the spot. After that, on the first night, they told us to collect the park fees as they were not included. I had to do a bank transfer to pay for it. Only when I find proof that it was all included, they accepted to refund us. It took till the end of the trip to get the money back and I had to drive to their headquarters and get the money. Even there, they gave me $100 less and only after I counted the money, they found another $100 in their pockets. Lunch packs during the safari were very bad, not much in it and low quality. Some extra money were asked for some extra experiences, more than agreed at the beginning. Find a better company to do your tour and save yourself some disappointment.
