Review about Amboseli National Park by Arvind Patole
Vast open marshes with abundant wildlife, and at the background the Kilimanjaro Mountain dominance.
Wildlife in my backyard
East Africa has an incredibly rich biodiversity, with variety of habitats such as the savanna, forests and grasslands, homes to the countless flora and fauna kingdom. Being part of the supercontinent Gondwana, many areas resemble the areas found on the western coastline areas of India.
We landed at Nairobi Airport and not wanting to waste time drove off directly to the Nairobi National Park which was about half an hours drive from the Airport.
Here we got the first glimpse of what Kenya beholds for the wildlife photographers.
At the parks entry gate we were greeted by none other than the Superb Starling, a beautiful bird showing off its metallic blue-green shoulder feathers with strong white eyes, later on I came to know this bird is quite a common and a nuisance sometimes, its found all over Kenya.
Bird species were a plenty at the Nairobi National Park, and we saw Pin-tailed Whydah, speckled mouse-birds, grey crowned cranes, bee eaters, egrets, Marabau storks, vultures, ostriches and many more.
Out in the open plains between small bushes we saw two young lions taking a nap, around some acacia trees we saw some white rhinos, one was with her young a calf, Masai Giraffes, Plain Zebras, buffaloes, Antelopes and Gazelles lazily moving around.
The two hours drive in the park drove away the fatigue of travel from India to Nairobi.
The Land cruiser driver cum guide was well versed with the area and the details of the vegetation and the animals seen, he was very friendly and cooperative and would stop and spot for us the well-camouflaged birds and animals of the area.
I would recommend that two sessions should be done at Nairobi national Park, one early morning and one late afternoon to justify it.

Tanzania is beautiful; I would never book with Safarihub ever again though
My review of Tanzania is 5 stars. The country is wonderful, friendly, full of wildlife. This is the second time I've been to the various parks on the Northern Circuit. I love that they each have their own unique and stunning scenery. Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater and Tarangire are all beautiful. Unfortunately, much of my positive view is formed by my previous experiences of the country as the recent safari I went on was an absolutely horrific experience despite the beautiful scenery. (Avoid Safarihub at all costs).
Tanzania though (aka 'friendly Kenya') is definitely worth visiting - and I'd recommend a trip to Zanzibar as well as the safari circuit if you can afford it, particularly if you're interested in snorkeling/scuba.
Review about Kenya by Arvind Patole
A beautiful place with natural beauty. The place where at every 50 meters you come across some or the other wildlife. A place where photographers can see the animals in the open, no hide and seek business.

Great safari trip
I booked this 4 day Safari tour in the last minute. I found it very difficult to choose between so many safai companies but I'm happy I chose Axis Africa Safari. I really enjoyed our 4 day budget safari, comfortable bus and with a very friendly group of 5/6 people. Our driver/guide Joshua was an extremely good driver. With Joshua we managed to see "the big 5". Accomodation was good and comfortable and so was the food, much better than expected. A very memorable trip for me and my son, our first Safari.
Loved Masai Mara. Thank you

Amazing tour with an amazing guide
Everything was totally perfect and well-prepared. The guide, called Vincent, picked us up at the hostel. He is amazing, really funny and he is really good at his job.
The tour was even above our expectations. We were not disappointed.
People that we met were nice and friendly, the choice of hotels was great, the car was great and the food was awesome.
Thank you for this amazing trip.
I will definitely recommend your company.

They behaved dishonorably
I signed a lease contract with Patrick for Nissan X-Trail from 5.09 to 25.09.17, I've paid him for rentingת and left him a deposit of 500 USD.
At 25.09.17 I've returned the car. Patrick examined her and then drove her to the parking lot. He said that he have to go to the bank to refund me a the 500 dollars. Patrick did not return with the money.

Canoeing down the Zambezi was an experience I will not forget, exciting but nerve wracking too!
Our guides were excellent, very highly trained and I soon learned to trust them. I was very nervous, and was able to be in the canoe with the main guide. I do feel that there should be a guide in each canoe as the one that was without did struggle at times, especially when paddling past the hippo pods, an anxious time.
I was amazed to see a lot of the equipment is metal, which must add to the weight, and the chaps worked so hard loading and unloading, can these not be replaced with plastic tables, chairs and tent poles??
The food was really good, cooked and served really well. Bit sceptical about the hygiene - cloths very dirty, washing up in cold water, but we weren't ill thankfully.
It was an amazing trip, the guides kept us safe, and it was very beautiful, getting so close to the elephants was special.

What started out in frustration ended in satisfaction.
This is a follow up to a previous review posted several weeks ago regarding lost keys. At that point, I felt that Africa Travel Co. had chosen to forget about the matter. I was pleased to receive a follow up email from Matt at ATC informing me that they hadn't forgotten. They arranged for a U.S. traveler to bring the keys back to the States and then mail them to me domestically. This unfortunate episode will fade. What won't fade are the remarkable memories of the trip. Our tour dynamics were amazing. Will, our guide was sarcastic and fantastic. His knowledge and love of Africa was obvious. He, along with our driver Stevie and our cook Monga created an inclusive environment for a pretty diverse tour group. We brought our two teenage sons and were concerned that there wouldn't be anyone for them to interact with. It was just the opposite. This was very much a family trip and all of the kids bonded quickly. As has been stated in other reviews, this is not a trip for everyone. ATC makes that clear in their materials. It's a trip that demands participation and engagement. After sleeping under African stars, you're up early and moving all day. You're pitching in to help clean, cook and manage the campsite. I found this expectation to be a bonding agent and not a chore. If you have an adventurous spirit and a lot of energy, then you should be good to yourself and take this trip with ATC.

Fabulous Honeymoon
We used Fungayi to plan our honeymoon trip to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Cape Town, South Africa.
Fungayi was very attentive and planned an excellent itinerary for our trip. He showed us all the popular sights and also offered multiple lifts in his car instead of using the local taxi services. His choices in accommodation were perfect and we had a fantastic time.
Fungayi then transferred us over to his colleague Natasha in Cape Town who was also excellent. She was also very attentive and made sure we saw & did everything we wanted to even though the weather became a bit of an issue at the beginning of the holiday.
Both Fungayi & Natasha were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them or using them again in the future.
