Attentive communication to plan tour and a great safari guide made this trip wonderful.
My girlfriend and I were looking for a safari that would include the major parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro (going down into the Crater, not just the rim, is a MUST!), Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. Amos with Migration worked with us extensively to refine the itinerary and answer all of the questions we had. He was very responsive by email which helped put our minds at ease since we were about to pay a decent amount of money to people on another continent. Our guide, Erasto Ninah (he goes by just "Ninah") was fantastic and I highly recommend him if you're looking for someone to give you a great safari experience. During our tour we saw around 100 elephants (including two fighting/mating), 3 cheetahs, around 20 lions (again, go to Ngorongoro!), 3 black rhinos, dozens of water buffalo, around 100 hippos and countless other animals. We saw a pair of lions hunting a pack of wildebeest and zebra. And Ninah's experience was invaluable throughout. He has a degree in wildlife management and 18 years safari experience and he was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the habits and behavior of each animal we saw. On a couple of occasions there were a group of land cruisers parked as close as they could to a lion (on one occasion) and a cheetah (on the other). Ninah said he was going to park away from that group, because the animal was likely to come to the spot he picked out. Because of that, we saw both animals walk RIGHT in front of our car and got some amazing pictures from it. On one day, the land cruiser started rattling badly on the right front tire. He dropped us off at an information center and came back an hour later. We asked what had been the problem and he said "the axle broke, but I fixed it". He's tour guide, expert driver (those roads are rough!), mechanic, and whatever else the situation calls for. It gave us a lot of piece of mind to have someone that could handle whatever came up. We really enjoyed chatting with him too and hearing his insights on the parks, the animals, conservation, Tanzanian culture, and everything else. He made this a trip to remember.

Easy and Fabulous Indeed!
Alice was my contact from the start and she was extremely helpful in planning a custom safari tour for our family of 5. Easy Travel was indeed easy in all aspects. Their website was easy to navigate and very informative. My endless questions were answered promptly and the bank transfer process was easy to do with their instructions which I was nervous about having never done so. We had a fantastic guide named Erasto and could not have been more pleased. Everything was handled smoothly throughout our 8 days and constant game drives with multiple camps and accommodations. My gluten allergy was also well addressed at breakfasts, dinners, and packed lunches. We were able to see the big 5 along with countless other animals. This was a fabulous trip and indeed the trip of a lifetime for my family. Well done and thank you. Asante Asante!

Overall nice safari, but only average service
Communication was poor (e.g. it was not communicated that we were only supposed to bring medium backpacks with us, because the bigger once we traveled with would not fit in the jeep, it was difficult to receive Information from staff regarding lunch, dinner or travel time ….), the provider organized meals badly which sometimes resulted in 10 hours between meals or breakfast 7 Hours after standing up, also the tour guide did not share much Information about flora and fauna with us. Anyway, the Safari was an unforgettable experience. Based on what we have seen it was awesome!

Excellent service, timely attention to detail, sincere and authentic care for our satisfaction
Very well-attended to, prior, during and after our time with them. We have nothing but good things to say about them. The only thing we might say is that the shopping site we were brought to Sunday morning to purchase national souvenirs was over-priced compared to similar items/prices we saw elsewhere (e.g., airport).

Professional Guides are hard to find
Isa at Extremely Wild is a Professional Guide. You can not decide to just be a guide, there are several hard steps you must take in order to be a guide and Botswana's standards are very high. Having worked with some of the best in the business, it is no wonder why this young man has risen through the ranks so fast. Highly competent, super friendly, he can take you on a safari to track wildlife (most fun) and get you in position to take amazing photographs. He understands what people want, and he knows how to get at it.

It gas been easy to organize an amazing and interesting safari
My expectations have been completely satisfied. We’ve seen so many beautiful things that we couldn’t imagine. We had a great time planning, we never got tired e we had enough time to do what we wanted. The driver was very nice and kind. The communication with the tour operator has always been fast, complete and clear.

This is a MUST read for anyone considering using Seven by Far Travel!
Like I mentioned in my previous July post, “A+ Service and We Haven’t Left Yet!” I seldom write reviews, but it would be wrong if I didn’t let those who read and believe in reviews know exactly what I thought about my experience with Seven By Far Travel.
Of course, everyone in our group had the time of their life just like almost everyone describes in the safari reviews you read and ALL of the accommodations we stayed at were of A+++ quality. However, the one thing that I believe differentiates this trip from any other was the service that Sylvester, the tour operator, provided us from the time of our initial contact with him and through our final send off. It was simply outstanding and was beyond our expectations. I honestly feel that a 5* rating doesn’t come close to describe the quality of service we received. I have NEVER experienced the type of service we were provided with on any 5* Diamond vacation we have taken in the past!
Simply put, we never had to think once about what we had to do or where we had to go. Everything from was planned out precisely Never once did we have to wait around and think about our itinerary that Sylvester customized for us to perfection based on where we wanted to go, what we wanted to see and what we wanted to do.
The moment we landed we were greeted and whisked away to our hotel where we met Sylvester for the first time. My first impression of him was exactly what I thought it would be. I found him to be as professional at first sight as he was in all the e-mail correspondences we had with each other prior to arriving. That day, he obviously arranged with the hotel to surprise us with an anniversary cake that was awaiting us in our room. He also provided us with baseball and safari hats that night which we thought was a very nice touch. From there on the service he provided only got better.
On the second day we flew to Amboseli where we were met by Steve our tour guide for our entire trip. I can not say enough good things about Steve. He has to be one of the most experienced guides out there. He was absolutely an incredible guide as well as human being. Not only was he so knowledgeable about all the animals and the parks we visited, but he stayed focused like he told us he would the entire time on making sure we had the best experience possible. There was not a thing Steve wouldn’t do for us. He made us feel safe at all times and was always looking out for our best interest. Here is just a few of the things he did for us that was totally unexpected:
1. My wife got bit by a tsetse fly and he arranged a Dr. to come see her.
2. He drove our luggage almost 12 hours back to Nairobi and then to the Masai Mara to meet up with us because we couldn’t take more than 17lbs of our belongings with us on the small plane we took to our next destination. Not once did we hear any complaint from him for doing so.
3. Finally, even though it wasn’t part of our itinerary, he took us on a private tour throughout the city of Nairobi on our last day. We were and remain grateful to both Sylvester and Steve to allow us to experience that in addition to our safari.
We liked Steve so much that we now consider him part of our family and we hope to be in touch with him for years to come! Thanks again Steve for giving us your all and making our trip a dream come true. If you are reading this, you still owe us a black rhino sighting, the only animal we failed to see.
Lastly, I would recommend to anyone reading this review to consider upgrading to the 4x4 SUV vehicle that Sylvester provided us with throughout our safari. It was by FAR the best vehicle on the road and was a major factor making our experience more enjoyable. You may ask how can that be possible? Well. Let me tell you that we were basically the only clients on the road that didn’t have to wear a mask to avoid inhaling or protect our eyes from daily dust created from all the road traffic. And we NEVER needed blankets to keep us warm on any of our game drives. All the other 4x4’s on the road seemed to have a plastic cover for the windows which had to be kept up at all times in order for their clients to see clearly. Thus, a majority of clients who were using other tour operator’s 4x4 SUV’s seemed to be cold, wrapped up in blankets and needed to wear masks/glasses to avoid the dust, but not us! Our vehicle was pristine and had clear glass windows that opened and closed easily when needed.
Oh, there is so much more to tell, but in the interest of keeping this short I’m going to stop here and say in closing…. Thank you, Sylvester, Steve and all the countless others for making this the trip of our lifetime! And for any of you considering using Seven By Far as your tour operator, I truly mean it when I say this……… YOU WON’T GO WRONG!
