Gorgeous experience incl. the "big-five"
My girlfriend and me booked the 4-days Safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Crater) and were really satisfied. We saw a lot of animals - the complete big 5 (!). Our guide Vincent was kind, funny, is a really nice driver and knows a lot about the animals living in the different parks. The food was delicious, we had three full meals each day. Tito (the cook) considered every extra-desire (like vegan, even "no coriander wishes" etc.). The car seats were comfortable, even we sometimes drove nearly 10 hours and the streets were really bad (crazy bumping - "African massage"). The camps and the tents were surprisingly good / comfortable!! All in all Suricata Safari is highly recommended! It is a "once in a lifetime experience!" - so just book it, you won't regret. PS: One night was extremely cold, ca 5 degrees, so take a warm jacket with you!

Nice experience in Tsavo park
I totally recommend the experience. From the first moment they gave us a lot of real information about the safari we were going to do. They came to pick us up where we were staying and they were very punctual. The driver took us through the best areas so that we could see many animals, we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, among others. On the way back they left us at the accommodation.

A safe and beautiful safari
I had a very nice Masai Mara safari experience with Lenchada Safaris company. I found the company on Tripadvisor. I read the comments and contacted by e-mail. We agreed easily. The taxi driver Jeff, who will pick me up from the airport, came with WhatsApp information in advance. He was very helpful. They came and picked up from the airport at the specified time. At the Nairobi office, I met company boss Alex. After making the payment, they gave safari program and proof of payment. Our guide Dennis Koome, who took us on safari, is both a very good guide at his job and a very good person. He is clean, calm, tidy and very attentive. During the 3 days we went on safari, he calmly watched the radio conversations and showed us the lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, crocodile, leopard and many animals up close. He took me to places where the big 5 are. It provided the opportunity to take pictures of many animals. Although he was very tired, he did his job without making us feel. The safari camp manager Helen is also extremely attentive and good at her job. It ensures that every guest who comes to the camp is served with care as if he was the only guest. The tent I stayed in the safari camp was very nice. It had a clean toilet and shower with hot water, cleaning supplies. My bed was comfortable and I slept well thanks to the mosquito net. The campground and dining hall were clean and tidy. Buffet food was fresh and good. Packed lunch was provided for lunch. We had a nice picnic on the banks of the Mara river. When the vehicle broke down due to the difficulty of the terrain, they solved this problem without upsetting us. I finished the program as promised. I can safely recommend it for a nice safari. It would be much better if they add more information for trip in Kenya on their website.

Richard is the King!
We chose axis after speaking to another Turkish guy who also had a safari with them. We did the 4-day - Budget safari program and joined a group of 7. It went smooth and transparent without any hidden fees. The places we stayed were not 5 star hotels but good enough with decent food and friendly environment. Our guide Richard was a very cool and easygoing guy, very good at communication and an amazing driver. He made sure everyone had a good time and thanks to him we got to see a lot of different animals in close range, including the big 5! We also borrowed his sim card on the way and had internet access on the entire journey..
Final notes:
• we did the optional lake Naivasha boat tour which was also amazing and relaxing
• the masai village visit is free of entrance but the masai guys there try to sell you some overpriced stuff at the end, which acts like the entrance fee :)
• the prices at the shops during the drives were too high. if you have time to spend in Nairobi, you can find stores with similar stuff at 1/3 the price.

Fantastic tour & great team
We had a 5 day trip to the Mt Kenya with CKC Safaris.
We loved everything about it, the team was great, from Michael the guide to the cook and all porters!
Michael gave great advice, nice explanations about the nature reserve and made sure we safely made it to the top of Mt Kenya.
The food was way better than expected on a mountain hiking tour!
All porters were super nice and really made sure we had the best time.
Would recommend them to everybody and we will definitely be contacting them again for a Kilimanjaro climb !

4 day/3 night budget safari Masai Mara and Nakuru
The most fantastic experience so many animals and amazing scenery. Our guide James was the perfect guide, helpful, full of knowledge, and very good driver. He knew his way around the park and eventhough he made us come really close to the animals he was respecting and thoughtful of the animals. With his guidance we got to see the Big Five. The accomodation was clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom and the food tasteful. And don't miss a visit to the Massai village. All and all a fantastic trip that exceeded all our expectations.

Africa Changed Our Lives
We booked our Travel through Ker & Downey and they handled everything perfectly. We had never been on a Safari and we left our itinerary up to Ker & Downey. Sarah was our primary contact and she booked us at 3 different safari lodges to give us a sample of 3 different game reserves. Then we spent 4 days in Cape Town which was also magnificent. Rather than write all the details of the trip I will just leave you with two major thoughts that will hopefully address any concerns you might have about traveling to South Africa.
1. Don't hesitate to use Ker & Downey. Their service was absolutely perfect and we had no delays. They had someone meet us at the end of each flight and we had the best tour guide that one could have for Cape Town. We had a party of 5 people and everything went like clock work!
2. If you have ever considered a Safari but for what ever reason have not taken the step, DO IT!!! It truly changed our perceptions of South Africa and wildlife. The people were incredible and we had the opportunity to get up close to some amazing animals. Every scene had a story for example; watching a leopard guard it's kill while also guarding it's cub as a hyena circled the tree. Lions on a hunt for Impala. They were so close we could touch them. Elephants drinking out of our pool at one lodge. They were so close you could have touched them. On and On!! Just GO and let Ker Downey take care of the details. As they say, You Only Live Once so do a trip of a lifetime. We are already working on our next trip to beautiful Africa!!

Africa safari at it's best
Our driver David was excellent. He was a pro at navigating the very rough roads. Found and quickly pointed out the animals. On the great migration he was extremely fast at getting us the the perfect viewing point. Always courteous,, receptive to what we wanted to do, and always happy.. It was a joy being with him this last week.. we were so lucky to have him as our guide!!! Thank you.
