Amazing experience, and a team that had our backs every step of the way
5/5

This was a trip of a lifetime, wow. Myself and my parents joined Right Choice Safaris for 15 days through Kenya and Tanzania, and the experience was beyond words… amazing amazing amazing. Before the trip, George was fantastic at alleviating all of our concerns, answering every question, and adjusting the itinerary to meet our wants/needs. This was especially impressive given the need to navigate visa AND covid testing requirements for two different countries. Once we arrived in Kenya, they had our backs with every step and made sure we didn’t have to lift a finger to organize anything. Everything was done for us and ran smoothly and beautifully. Our guides, Jacob in Kenya and Simon in Tanzania, were both phenomenal! They blew us away with their kindness, knowledge, flexibility, humor, and expertise. The wildlife, the destinations, the accommodations, the food… this trip is a much do. Thank you so much George, Jacob, Simon, and team!

Extremely responsible and highly experienced guide; amazing cooperation with the operator
5/5

Hello, dear travelers,

I’d like to share with you my extraordinary travel experience in Namibia with Okutembuka Safaris.

Surfing the Internet, looking for the best itinerary Joan and I found out the website of Okutembuka Safaris https://www.okutembuka.com/ Despite of the website has a plenty of ready-to-go trips over Namibia we have chosen our own route, created according to all our preferences. Our priorities were visiting the bushmen, the Dunes, Swakompund and Cape cross with a seal colony, Damaraland with visiting Himba tribe, Etosha National park. We chose ourselves some of the hotels and lodges, but the major part were the lodges that Okutembuka safaris recommended us. When we visited them, we were astonished by the hospitality and the high level of service at the lodges. Romy added some more nearby sights to our trip. With the great cooperation of Romy and her briefing on the current situation in the country during the COVID-19, we booked a 3 weeks Fully Guided Safari, which started in Windhoek on the 11 of June 2021.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO GO ON A FULLY GUIDED SAFARI, cause if you do self-driving safari, you can be faced with some unpleasant situations that aren’t easy to cope with. During our 21 day trip we punctured the tyre of the car twice cause most of the driving was off-road, our guide Rudolf took care of this issue. Later in Etosha National park during safari which was arranged by the lodge we stayed at, Rudolf noticed that the elephant, we had been looking at, was about to attack us and told a driver to start the car. Many thanks to our guide Rudolf, that we escaped from the furious elephant and avoided being smashed.

I’d like to admit that Joan and I were extremely lucky being guided by Rudolf, cause his responsibility and experience in Namibian wild life and nature won us an incredibly unique and educational trip over the country. Rudolf’s knowledge and sense of humour brought us a lot of bright moments. Our guide spoke both Afrikaans and German languages, that made our life in Namibia much easier. Rudolf found for us the best local guides to visit the bushmen village and the bushman paintings, we enjoyed a lot.

Traveling with Rudolf felt like to travel with the family. Okutembuka Safaris, thank you for all the unforgettable experiences and souvenirs.

Very good tour operator, best experience and very warm team.

My first Safari ever was with Fahamu Safaris. I had an excellent experience here. Everything went very smoothly. We visited the three national parks. It was a five days tour where your own input was always possible. The team was super friendly, helpful and they knew a lot to tell. Very educational. We loved every moment and would recommend anyone to book with Fahamu tours! Also the price to quality ratio was very good!

E-Trip provided great communication through the planning of the safari, including completely changing the dates when Kenya had an unexpected lockdown. The guides were always on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our safari.

Award tours is customer minded; considers carefully the needs of the client and goes out of the way to ensure that the traveler is fully satisfied and comfortable. Award tours takes time to go out to examine facilities before sending the traveler.

My experience with Lion King Adventures was truly a life changing experience. When my family first booked, communication with the owner, Pendo, was effective and highly efficient. Any time we had questions regarding payment, lodging, concerns, or any other pertinent information, she was enthusiastically prepared to assist us.

Upon arrival, our tour guides, Salehe and Gilbert, greeted us with welcoming arms. During our entire safari journey, they truly made us feel like family and took care of us beyond our expectations. From introducing us to Swahili greetings, informing us on all the animals in the safari and their habits, making sure we were comfortable and secure with lodging, and not to mention the Jeep rides and plethora of pictures taken, I highly recommend Lion King Adventures to everyone traveling to Tanzania to experience life in the Tarangire, Ngorongro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara National Parks. You will not regret it! It was truly bittersweet departing from Salehe, Gilbert, and the entire Lion King Adventure family because once again, we all became family.

I like how Joel was easily available when I needed him... traveling with an agent who is accessible is much easier. I also liked the fact that they were organized... We were picked on time and dropped on time. Also, they did recommend a number of activities and attractions that turned out to be very interesting. Had a great experience and I would definitely use them again.

Great days in Tanzania with the Siafu Tanzania safari team.

At least once a year we are organizing a trip with group of friends abroad to experience different people, places and cultures. This year choice of destination was Tanzania where we were hoping to visit nature parks, experience the hospitality of Tanzanian people, experience urban life with the lively markets as well as rest on the beautiful beaches in Zansibar.

Estravel helped us purchase flight tickets and we received information from our friends about Siafu Tanzania safari team who had previously helped them to organize their vacation. We got in touch with the team and they helped us to achieve a dream vacation.

At Kilimanjaro Airport we were met by hospitality by Siafu Tanzania team as Ene Lepp and Emmanuel were expecting us at arrivals and helped us to helped us with practicalities such exchanging money and finding our hotel. Ene’s experience and expertise in visiting Arusha markets and discovering the city’s sights helped us everywhere, with ease we were able to achieve best purchase prices and make choose best possible options for us. We visited the Tanzanini Museum in Arusha, the Maasai market and many other sites. In order to experience local life and culture in its authentic way we used local services. Ene took as for ice cream in fabulous local ice cream café and she always entertained us with endless stories about her adventures in Tanzania. We stayed at the Tulia Hotel and Spa in Arusha, which was also booked by the team of Siafu Tanzania Ltd. The hotel was comfortable and nice without breaking the budget; with a swimming pool and a bar where we spend nice relaxing time.

Following adoption to African culture in Arusha were moved further for an exciting 3 days in Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro National Parks with an excellent guide Emmanuel, whose professional knowledge of nature, friendliness and safe driving only deserve praise. We enjoyed experiencing lives of lions, elephants, zebras, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, monkeys and many more animals like mummy ostriches and hippos looking for shelter in the water. Excellent lunches at the stops of national parks with coffee and wine were a unique experience. During Safari Days, accommodation with breakfasts and dinners was offered by the excellent hotel Fanaka Lodge, which was also booked by the team of Siafu Tanzania Ltd.

A meeting with residents in the Mto Wa Mbu community and Maasai village was a another fabulous experience. Accompanied by Deo Kibungara, we learned about the village liffe, visited their homes, took part in nature education in the banana farm and rice field as well as watched craftsmen work in their wooden workshop. Of course, the visits included opportunity to purchase interesting local items that will remind us of Africa. Selling style of locals was intense and when they realized that we were a bit overwhelmed they calmed us by saying ‘pole, pole’ (in Estonian, peace, peace) and eventually deals were made for everyone’s satisfaction. In the villages we met a lot of great people including children who cheerfully shouted us in the village tour. Local children were grateful and exited when we offered them some gifs such as candies and school supplies that we had brought with us

Together with Ene and Emmanuel, we visited several Tanzania schools to see children enjoying fun learning experiences together. We also visited Maasai village, met their way of life and enjoyed their welcome dance, handicrafts and genuine hospitality.

At the end of our time in Arusha was time to move on to Zansibar. Ene and Emmanuel kindly took us to the airport where we said our goodbyes: it was hard to leave as we had become good friends and we thoroughly enjoyed their company.
Our visits to the city of Arusha and to the national parks of the Kilimanjaro region left us with unforgettable memories of natural richness of the nature and the genuine friendliness of people. Of course what made this trip a fabulous once as it was meeting and sharing time with Ene, who did not get tired of introducing us to the real life of Tanzania and sharing experiences on how to manage as an Estonian in Tanzania.

We will always remind ourselves of a friendly and hospitable phrase ‘Hacuna matata’ from Tanzania (in Estonian, take it easy) as this helps to keep our otherwise not so joyful Estonian spirits alive for time to come.

Thank you Ene Lepp and Emmanuel!
