Great Company in Arusha
Just back from safari, one of the best experience of travel I ever had !
First of all, the company is very profesional, they built for us a tailor made itinerary : 8 days in Northern Tanzania (Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire). I've been travelling with my wife and our two kids, the guide we had was speaking a very good english, and french as well. As I am french and my wife is british, this was perfect for us :) the guide was very nice with our kids, he paid a very nice attention to them.
The lodge and camp we stayed were amazing, we really enjoyed the Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge in Karatu.
I strongly recommend this company, and I'm already planning to go to climb Kilimandjaro with a group of friends.

Absolutely amazing safari - not one complaint
Matthew set up an amazing experience and trip for us - from the time he picked us up at the airport - to the time that we left to go back to the states. He planned through our trip with us and was available every step of the way. Our safari was perfect and the experience in cape town was a blast.

Helpful, responsive and knowledgeable
I generally do all our travel bookings myself, but decided to enlist the assistance of the Cardboard Box Travel Shop as it was a complex itinerary. I found them to be really helpful and responsive. We dealt with Lilly. She made sure that she understood the route we wanted to take, and in some instances suggested great alternatives to the lodges we had identified but which were full. She was also mindful of the distance we would have to drive between destinations and ensured that this did not become too onerous.
The administration was handled efficiently and without fuss.
It made the whole trip a lot easier and did not add significant cost to the process compared to doing the bookings ourselves. Where there were differences we did some directly and that was also fine.

The tour operator is a great communicator, very efficient and non hesitant, she has a great personality, is very relatable and prompt. She had a great itinerary which made the safari very enjoyable and easy,all my expectations were met, next time it's definitely Lorna safaris.

Amazing experience- very good communication and well-organized safari!
We had amazing safari experience in Tanzania and Kenya thanks to Cross to Africa Safaris. All the communication was satisfying, from the beginning to the end of the safari. Comfortable car, excellent driver with very good knowledge about nature, history and wildlife, excellent choice of accomodations. We felt ourselves in good hands. I will definitely use this company again and recommend to others!

Hello I higly reccomend this local travel agency since we had a fantastic experience in Tanzania.
We just came back from a classic safari of 8 days and 7 nights in the Northern part of the country. We visited the majour parcs such as Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and the region of Ndutu where we had the chance to see the great migration: it was a wondefull experience!
The trip was just perfect: well organised, good lodges well located and the car was brand new. I would like to thank in particulary our amazing guide Prosper for his professionamism and his willingness.
We keep in contact for another safari in the Southern part :)

"Excellent Safari Experience at its best"
Our fantastic trip with African Jacana Safari Tours team for 12 days November April 2018, Moremi, Okavango Delta, Khwai, Savuti Chobe & Vic-falls. Jack of all trades “Lucky”, thank you very much for the great camping experience you made possible for us. From the first email to the last time at the airport everything was well organized. Our thanks also goes out to the Chef, whos‘ delicious food we had the pleasure to enjoy as well, the „good spirit“ of the camp. It was my daughter s belated birthday and Lucky suggested that the chef take the elephant waste and decorate it into a cake with candles on top, after dinner we sang a song for my daughter and the moment she had to cut the cake she realized it was an elephant waste, what a moment!!! We will always remember that.
The Tents were very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great.
Gideon, you showed and told us so many knowledge and interesting facts about the flora and fauna of Botswana. Inspired by you wildlife journal, for the first time I started to keep a checklist of all animal sightings. What a great idea! You are an excellent guide!
It was in Khwai t when we saw the first leopard. A special sight, for us and our cameras, was the by far most beautiful lion in Africa – what a beauty!
As before, Khwai took our breath away with its beautiful landscapes. A great located camp with Zebras, Wildebeests, Antelopes and Elephants all around us. I will never forget the moment during setting up the camp when an Elephant came by to watch with be just sitting barely 3 meters away – and we got the photo for agreat memory too.
In Savuti we had the luck to see the Savuti pride feasting on their prey, they just made a fresh kill, a buffalo. Thank you for showing us the beautiful group of old baobab trees that is not mentioned in any travel guide!
We were lucky to have been able to take so many great pictures.
Summary: reliable, efficient, very professional, excellent knowledge, delicious meals, very friendly, excellent tents and lots of fun!
