Outstanding, worldclass customer service, responsive, knowledgeable guide, exceeded expectations
Nature Travel Namibia is a world-class tour operator that provided excellent value for the money spent. Nicolette Muller, our tour organizer and coordinator was excellent and responsive. While in the USA I got responses within time zone differences, while in Namibia, responses were in real-time, and believe me you will need real-time support when your airline changes flights at apparently random times when you do not have Internet access or things happen beyond your control (provide your booking login details including passwords to Nicolette). Nicolette's response was the main reason for deciding to select Nature Travel Namibia, but it just got better from there. My guide and driver Marc Cronje was outstanding; he was friendly, very knowledgeable, and flexible; the hours spent in the car with Marc were filled with interesting discussions and an informal discourse on birds (by the way Namibia has some amazing birds). The tour was customized for me as a single traveler, another feather in Nature Travel Namibia's cap (in fact it is a group of companies that does bird watching - Nature Travel Birding, NT Kruger, NT Africa, etc.). One of my requirements was to visit dark sky locations, since Namibia has one of the darkest night skies in the world; consequently, the first several nights were catered to dark sky and Southern Milkyway viewing in Keetmanshoop, Sossuss Dune Lodge, and Star Dune Camp. I was told that Nicolette has personally visited the lodges she recommends, which is a huge plus. The accommodations (I chose mid-range) as chosen by Nicolette were outstanding. I spent 16 days in Namibia, and this was my second trip to African in two decades, and I was totally blown away by the experience and the efficiency of the tour operator. In summary if you are looking for a tour operator to visit Namibia (or Kruger in South Africa, or for birdwatching anywhere in the world), without reservations I highly recommend Nature Travel Namibia or the Nature Travel Group of companies. I did go in time of the COVID situation, and though Namibia is on the USA travel.gov "do not travel list", it is safer than many cities in the USA; all individuals everywhere in Namibia use masks and hand sanitizers and the population density is much lower than any of the major metros in USA. A MUST do on your Kenia Trip!
A really nice experience to see all the animals and the nature very close! Our driver really made the most out of it and made the trip unforgettable, thanks to Jonathan:-)!

Affordable, reliable, and efficient
We did the two-day safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro after our Kilimanjaro trek. Jackson organized a transport from Moshi very easily, with a great driver. Jackson communicated quickly and clearly throughout the process. Since it was only two of us, we were able to join a public tour where we met many kind people with knowledgeable tour guides. The tour was much less than the more available private options, and the safari was exactly same, if not better. If I were to return to Tanzania for a longer safari, I would undoubtedly use Topy Tours.

Couldn't get any better- first safari experience
This was my first safari experience and Native Africa team gave their best to make it an unforgettable trip! David was an amazing tour guide and he made sure every day was filled with amazing wildlife sightings.
We were vegetarians and the food arrangement was also great. I'll do the photos do the talking

Excellent communication
Altough I have put July 2021 as the travel date for this review we haven't actually visited Kenya yet, however after recently booking a safari tour with Kenan travel and tours for August 2022 I felt the need to express my thanks to tour manager Jane who during our correspondence has been a pleasure to deal with. All my questions have been replied to within a day or two in a professional helpful manner and I'm very pleased with the competitive deal she has put together for us. I look forward to adding another 5 star review once our eagerly anticipated trip is complete.

Our tour operator and our safari experience was great.
My family had a wonderful time on safari. Philip, our driver was very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. We saw lots of animals and were able to take many pictures and videos. Jastone also accompanied us on safari and made sure that everything was taken care of. I would say that we definitely had a “Hakuna Matata” experience.

Helpful and to the point, willing to accommodate specific wishes.
Both the tour operator and the driver were helpful and kind. We were happy to have chosen a Kenyan-owned business, both to support local businesses and because of their know-how.
We'd definitely book with Hyrax again in the future!

Paul was very attentive to our needs before going especially with covid details
Paul set up a great trip for us on our first time to Africa. He was very attentive to our needs and questions before arriving especially with Covid requirements
On the safari Justin our guide was awesome. We saw the big 5, cheetahs, a lion hunt. I am not sure we missed anything. The accommodations were amazing. Maramboi tented lodge is an experience and the Melia chain of hotels were first class.
I would highly recommend Paul and his company. I thought it was a class act he came to the hotel the first night to meet us in person and go over everything anc introduce Justin

An experience not to be missed!
Communication from Citrus from booking until after the tour was excellent, with there being contact throughout the 10 day tour of Kenya and Tanzania. Excellent reliability with pick ups always being on time, thus giving us the most amount of time for safari.
The sightings were exceptional and we had Ali as our driver and our knowledgeable guide, so we saw the big five and many other animals too. We were looked after well at each of our accommodations, and both the hotels and campsites were a good standard for a budget trip.
After picking up a stomach bug just before the tour began, Citrus went out of their way to make sure I was looked after and comfortable.
Overall, excellent value for money and once in a lifetime sightings.
