Excellent tour with Nature Travel Namibia.
5/5

Over the last nine years I have traveled with Nature Travel Namibia and Nature Travel Africa four times. My recent visit to Namibia was again beyond my expectations. The trip was well planned with attention to detail from a packing list to dining tables with a view. Travel during this time of covid adds a layer of concern, but Nature Travel answered all our questions, kept us informed, and arranged necessary testing.
Our guide and driver Nick Buys has an uncanny ability to identify wildlife from extreme distances. Nick says it is not necessarily due to keen eyesight, even though that helps, but by recognizing shapes, color, movement and location. Highlights include: a journey far into the Skeleton Coast where we were able to view the desert Elephant, and sitting at a watering hole in Etosha National Park at night and hearing the roar of a lion, realizing not only that it was close but how powerful an animal it is. Mostly we had "fun".
Even after multiple trips to Africa, I feel it is still full of adventure just waiting for me. I highly recommend Nature Travel and will use them again to help me wander and explore this special place.
A special thank you to Nick Buys, Nicolette Muller, and all the staff at Nature Travel Namibia.

The perfect safari guide
5/5

If I had the possibility then I would give Lion King Adventures more than 5 stars.

And if some day returning to wonderful Tanzania, then I would definitely choose Lion King Adventures as our safari guide again.

It might seem expensive at first but after the safari one will see that you get full value for your money from this super professional company, which put all effort into bringing top service down to every little detail.

The response to our first enquiry was fast, precise and honest thanks to Nick. He was very patient with us during our planning and shared many different options to find the best solution for my family.

Our booking was handed over to Pendo after confirmation. She handled all the practical details and information level was great. Even a sudden change to the booking from our side did not cause any problems. Payment went smooth and I felt very safe all the way.

The safari itself was great thanks to Salehe and his very robust and always clean Jeep - Mufasa.

Game drive is like fishing Salehe told us. You might not catch anything, but with Salehe is was like throwing dynamit in a pond. All the fish came to the surface. I have never seen so many different animals in their natural environment. Either together in large numbers so that it would take our breath away, or so close to us that it felt like we could touch them. Salehe always had a great sense to find the best spots for us.

This together with he’s kindness and humor, doing everything possible to make us comfortable, sharing his wide knowledge about animals and plants and finally answering all our crazy questions, made our safari experience one that we will remember the rest of our life.

Thank you so much.

Words cannot describe!
5/5

Jambo Jambo (Hello Hello)
Where do we start?…
As our wonderful guide, Salehe, told us; “Lion King Safari tries to make everything perfect, from the office to the safari”, and they indeed succeeded. Let’s start from the beginning, at the Kilimanjaro Airport we where met with the biggest smile, you can ever imagine. The journey started.
Salehe (our guide) was very fast at learning our names, and the personal connection between us and him was already established. We started our journey at the Tarangire, and 5 Minutes in we where already blown away, wildlife everywhere. The Day was amazing and Salahe had this incredible Ability to always spot the Animals and the best spot to park the Car, so that we had the best view of the Animals and was right next to the action. After Tarangire, the Journey continued to 2 Days in Serengeti and 1 Day in Ngorongoro Crater. Safari was like a Gift that kept on giving. After numerous wonderful experiences, I strongly recommend Lion King Adventures. Lion King Adventures and Salehe made the Journey one of the best moments in my life. Salehe knew the Answer to almost every one of our crazy Questions, and if he didn’t he was very humble and honest, and told us he would research it, and he did:) The honesty is especially a Trait the our family value very high, so that was very great.
After all the kind words I still feel like I haven’t told 1% of the wonderful Experience, you really need to experience it by yourself. If only 6 stars was available, Lion King Adventures and Salehe would definitely receive that!

Kind regards from a very grateful Victor
Kwaheri (goodbye)

Great trip in Uganda with Matoke
5/5

We had a great 3.5 weeks trip in Uganda! We (Maarten and Teske, both 28 years old) already decided more than a year ago that we wanted to go to Uganda. We were first doubting whether to arrange the whole trip ourselves or to reach out to a tour company, but eventually decided to book our trip with Matoke tours. We never regretted this decision! Our contact with Matoke (Pleunie) was really good. She replied quickly to all our e-mails and kept us up to date about the Corona regulations. She designed a great program for us, that contained all the parks we wanted to visit and included an 8-day trekking in the Rwenzori mountains (something we specifically asked for us). It was also no problem to make some small changes to the program, according to our desires.

When we arrived in Uganda, there was already a man waiting for us, almost directly after we left the plane, that guided us through all the border controls. It was great that we did not have to figure this out ourselves! Outside the airport, we met our guide Dunn. He was a fantastic guide! He was not only a good chauffeur and a lot of fun to talk to, he knew a lot of different facts and he was amazing at spotting animals for us (during the safari's). He was always happy and friendly and he helped to make it a great trip!

In Uganda we visited Murchison falls, Kibale forest (Chimpanzee tracking), Rwenzori mountains, Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mutanda (gorilla tracking in Bwindi), and lake Mburo. This was a really nice and variable program. All the safari parks were alternated with jungle/mountains, so we never got bored of too many game drives after each other (although I doubt whether that it's even possible). We especially liked our stay in Mutanda Lake Resort, which offers stunning views and a really atmospheric restaurant. It was the most expensive lodge of our trip, but we were really glad we stayed here for four nights. The drives between the parks were also really beautiful and never too long. Everything on our holiday just went smoothly, we even never got stuck with our car or got a flat tyre.

Too conclude, we can really recommend to go to Uganda and book your trip with Matoke!
