wonderful canoe safari adventure
5/5

We took a Naturways explorer safari by canoe from Chirundu to Mana Pools. It was magical and thrilling paddling the Zambezi and tranquil side passages, and camping under the stars on sandy islands at night. The communication and organization prior to the safari, and the canoe trip itself were outstanding. Our guides were friendly and supremely competent, taking the best care of us as we navigated amongst hippos and other wildlife. Although the tent camping was basic, the equipment was comfortable and the food very good. We had a great time. Definitely recommended!!

A dream trip
5/5

We spent an amazing 2 weeks In Tanzania thanks to everyone at Wild Mind Travel. Justin did a great job taking care of all the details of our 2 week trip. He was always quick to respond to our many many questions before the trip! Amos our guide was the best! His enthusiasm and knowledge of the parks and animals was incredible!!! We saw so many many animals and babies! Way more than we ever expected! Elephants, Zebras, pumbas, giraffes, leopards, hippos, lions and so so many more After the safari we spent 7 amazing days in Zanzibar. Justin organized 2 days in Stone Town and then our final days at resort on the beach. All our accommodations were amazing, from camping with the animals in the Serengeti, the edge of the Ngorongiro crater to the deluxe beachfront lodge The trip was a great combination of adventure and relaxation. Truly a trip we I'll never forget. Thank you Wild Mind Travel!

Over-the-top service to ensure complete satisfaction
5/5

The staff at Kiboko Kenya Safaris were professional in their communications and service during our trans-continental online booking process. Being a group of 7, we booked private tours to Kenya and Tanzania with luxury accommodations and meals, which included boxed lunches if we were on the road. Overall, Kiboko Kenya Safaris was able to piecemeal our itinerary with the end results exceeding our expectations. Rating of 5/5 (Excellent) for Kiboko Kenya Safaris.

Review of Kenya...
Upon our arrival to Nairobi late-night, to my dismay, I discovered that I had brought the wrong cord and couldn't charge my cellphone. Once my battery drained, I wouldn't have access to the camera--which meant no pictures! The next morning, we met Lenny (who's our guide/driver) and Claire (who was there just to collect any monies/balances owing). We were aiming to be on the road early for the 7 hour drive to our first destination. When I informed Claire of my oversight, she agreed to ask Lenny to drive us directly from our hotel to the mall where there's an electronics store. Being too early, Claire suggested that we have breakfast in the mall to wait until store opened at 10 a.m. After breakfast, I was able to buy the one remaining C-cable to fit my cell phone. Rating of 5/5 (Excellent) for Claire for being so understanding, accommodating and patient. She was also very friendly and nice.

Overall, it was our guide/driver, Lenny, who made our trip so incredibly memorable. He always had a smile and proudly wore his Massai clothing. Lenny was very welcoming, warm and kind. His many years as a guide/driver, along with his formal education, gave him the knowledge and know-how to spot and find so many animals. He was very accommodating with our requests. Lenny's passion for the conservation and preservation of the national parks and its wildlife clearly shows through. We could tell he loves what he's doing in the excitement he expressed whenever he spotted an animal. He knew where to go and stop for the best views/angles for our pictures. Lenny's professionalism was put to the test when we were met by an oncoming large group of protestors. Lenny quickly turned our jeep around and detoured on the side roads to drive around the protestors. When we left Kenya, we were happy to continue to have Lenny as our guide/driver upon our return from Tanzania. Although we're now back in our respective home countries (USA and Canada), we continue to follow Lenny on social media. We highly recommend requesting/assigning Lenny to others as their tour guide. Rating of 5/5 (Excellent) for Lenny for being the perfect guide!

Review of Tanzania....
Once again, Kiboko Kenya Safaris did an excellent job arranging our accommodations and meals in Tanzania. Lenny dropped us off at the Kenyan-Tanzania border-crossing and stayed to ensure that our visas were approved. Once we walked across the border, we met our Tanzania guide, Ruben. When asked, Ruben told us he started out as a driver. He had been a guide for 5? years. Overall Ruben was fine as our guide/driver. However, we would suggest that he receive further training on how to be more engaging with his guests. At most times, Ruben spoke only to the front passenger (whomever's sitting next to him)--the rest of us cannot hear him. When we asked him to speak louder ("We can't hear you"), he would speak louder. But eventually, he'd revert back to speaking softly and only to the front passenger. Also, at most times, we had to ask Ruben questions about where we were (upon arriving at each destination), to tell us about the places and the animals. We were spotting the animals and asking Ruben what they were. Ruben should tell us everything without having us to ask him first. Also, he doesn't have to wait until we arrive at a destination. He should tell us about the places we're driving through, etc. (the various towns, people, animals, history, etc.). Another issue would be his taking rest breaks (i.e., just shutting his eyes or was he sleeping?) during some of the stops for us to take pictures. Rather than taking rest breaks, he should be telling us about the places and the animals. On a positive note, however, Ruben, himself, was very pleasant, nice and accommodating with our requests. He went over and above, exceeding our expectations, when one member of our group had forgotten/left her cell phone behind at a game lodge and we were already enroute to our next destination. Ruben spent a considerable amount of time (while driving) on his phone arranging for her cellphone to be flown to the airport at our next destination. When we arrived at the airport, her cellphone had apparently arrived--however, the pilot had flown out again and wouldn't return until later that evening. No one knew what happened to her cell phone--if it was dropped off at the airport. Ruben was determined to locate/track down her cell phone. Luckily, in the end, she was happily reunited with her cell phone (and all her pictures that she had taken thus far). 3.5 (Average to Good) for Ruben.

Gail was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She organised everything from when we flew out to when we arrived home. The entire trip was an absolute dream and we can't thank her enough.

About: Botswana
Beautiful trip to Chobe and Okavango Delta
Overall rating
5/5

The Chobe Safari Lodge we would not book again, because it was too big for us, but it was not bad.The food was not as we were used to from other lodges before (in Namibia) and unfortunately, the dinner buffet colsed at 08:30 pm. From the game drives we came back around 6:30 pm. To come still on time for dinner, after a shower etc., was then almost stressful.
The organization of the game drives and boat trips was well organized and we liked it.
The Oddballs Camp we liked very much. It is a very simple camp, but the care was great, the food was good and we had everything we needed.
The tour for camping we also would not book any more. Too many efforts with tent building dismantle, cook yourself etc. The camp itself offers the same natural experiences. Therefore, it is not necessary to accept this simplicity in order to achieve even more natural experiences.
All in all it was a very great experience and everything worked out wonderfully with Zambezi Safari and Travel Company. The communication with Liz was uniquely good. Thanks to the whole Team.

First day, Just before reaching the hotel we spotted the a Rhino and the leopard !
Accommodation at ashnil Camp was nice, nothing to complain, good food with very kind people.
Kenneth was an amazing guide, passionate, professional and very experienced. We spotted the big five at our second day.

excellent safari with 'africanchallengesafaris.com'
5/5

After conntacting about 10 safari agencies, we finally decided to make a safari tour with Kennedy.
Thank god we did, 'cause it was perfect.
Everything went like we hoped it would. We've been picked up at the airport in time and also the rest of the 4 days passed by like we had planned.
We got a very good Guide, who is called "animal". He took us around for 4 days and we've been able to spot a lot of wild animals. Best - of course - were the 4 baby lions, which were really really cute.
I really can recommend Africanchallengesafaris.

Thanks again Kennedy for your help and patience while planning our perfect safari,
best regards,
Thomas

Never got tired of seeing yet another zebra – next to the Big 4, giraffes, hippos, and so many other
5/5

We had the most amazing time on our 4-days safari tour to Masai Mara National Park and Lake Nakuru. We would have never expected to see as many animals and get as close to them as we did. We were only missing leopards, but that would have probably been too much to ask considering how lucky we were, overall. We especially appreciated our guide Edward driving very carefully and leading us to the best spots in the wilderness. As we were a group of only four, it almost felt like being on a private tour, which was great. Being invited to the Masai village to get an impression of the daily life there was an outstanding experience. It just would have been nice if somebody had told us before that we had to pay an extra entrance fee there. It was worth it, though!
