Great trip
5/5

This was a great trip . We had been on safari 2 times before and I think this was the best trip. The 2 parks were both very good and Zanzibar was relaxing afterwards. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and all the people we dealt with were helpful , committed and friendly.

Short but Sweet Safaris
5/5

We were in Kenya for business and had one Saturday for something fun. Johnson helped us arrange the trip quickly and efficiently. He arranged for everything and all we had to do was show up. He is very knowledgable, courteous, and friendly.

knowlegeable Local operator
4/5

We googled for a safari operator in Northern Tanzania, and found bookings Tanzania safaris, sent our inquiry and got timely response. The owner, Wilbert Makunja, seemed to be sharp and full of knowledge; got our quote within hours for a short trip to the Serengeti. We had no knowledge of other interesting parks but when we received our quote it was nicely detailed -mentioned other parks that we hardly knew- Tarangire, Manyara and Ngorongoro. Although our plan was to tour Serengeti (five days) and do a U-turn to Ireland, given reasonable price (if we got one!). Price was reasonable, we were amazed that we could do more within five days, We travelled as family (couple and a 12yr daughter). Very interesting trip, great welcome from the time we landed Kilimanjaro Airport, received by Wilbert and a driver, taken to our hotel.Tanzania is a great country, very smiling people! We enjoyed the wildlife (plentiful of it), Maasai tour, crater and our highlight- The Serengeti (the open zoo). Can't finish without mentioning our driver- Hakim, friendly and polite.

Great Trip to South Africa, this was an Experience i will never forget.
5/5

Great organization, we were picked up from the airport, our driver and guide "Jakob" became our friend and guide, who took care of everything and accompanied us for 11 days through South Africa. He went with us to a Soweto tour, went with us to the football station in Durban and looked for the lions in the Kruger National Park. I have always felt safe and well-guarded, thank you. At the end of the trip, the farewell was really difficult.

What else
5/5

Excellent safari in Southern Tanzania. During 10 days me and my 5 company colleagues from PT visited the parks of Selous, Ruaha and Mikumi. We spent an overall of 15 days and then ended it with Zanzibar. Everything was organized great, we were very lucky with animals (except rhinos), and the guide Oubek was outstanding. Only wished the operator would have informed us that the distances between parks were so large as we would take some planes if we knew that. But, of course, it was also our fault for lack of research :) Would definitely recommend

We used Afican Ubuntu without any prior references and were very pleased with the outcomes.
5/5

We requested African Ubuntu to put together a trip encompassing Rovos rail to Vic Falls from Pretoria, Vicroria Falls, Chobe Game Lodge and time in two Zambian tented camps; three nights were spent in each venue including the train. They also assisted in booking a weekend away from Capetown in Franschhoek prior to us starting our arranged trip. We had previously arranged the CapeTown stay on our own to visit family. The visit was timed o fit into the hotter part of the year, just prior to the onset of the rainy season as game tends to concentrate around fewer watering places at this time. The choices made and the timing turned out to be spot on. - and tis is where their experience showed through. We were mat at each airport even if it was just for a change in flight to ensure our needs to catered for and no glitches occurred. each veue had its own safari arrangements but a cocsistenly high standard was met in all venues.

“Outstanding experience”
5/5

What a fabulous safari to Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Tarangire we had with wonderful Bekka, our driver and guide from 7 Wonders Safaris. From the moment we contacted Ms.Evelyn about safari options, we had complete confidence that our experience was going to be special...and it was.

Mr.Bekka was such great company with his wonderful sense of humour, and his fountain of knowledge and deep caring for his country, customs and wildlife taught us so much. We so enjoyed our 5 days in Tanzania and wished it could have been longer.

One highlight was seeing a mass movement of zebras and wildebeests in the Ngorongoro Crater. We also saw adult and baby giraffes, lions, hippos, cheetahs, leopards buffalo, gazelles and baboons and many more.
As keen photographers it was important to us that we should not feel rushed when taking photos and videos and our guide Mr.Bekka excelled here. The moment one of us wanted to shoot, he not only stopped but more importantly turned off the engine so there would be no vibration. He gave us as much time as we wanted and then only started again when we were ready to go...

What else can I say except that each and every moment of our safari was a wow experience!
I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to an amazing safari experience.

Thank you Ms.Evelyn, Mr.George and Mr.Bekka for making our time in Tanzania so wonderful.

About: Vayeni
First African trip
5/5

As background, I'm a solo traveller and this was my first trip to Africa. I had a few places I really wanted to visit and a few other potential add-ons. I put my requirements out to quite a few safari companies from this website and Vayeni came back with the best proposition. It was well presented and immediately gave me a flavour of the accommodation and the way the holiday would flow.

They suggested I also visit Matopos in Zimbabwe, which I had never considered as part of my own thinking. It turned out to be my favourite stop of the trip, so was a great recommendation. The other places they suggested for me were also spot on. They took my fairly tight budget and identified where I could get a bit of affordable luxury on the holiday and where I could compromise and stay in somewhere cheaper but still comfortable and good quality.

My instinct is that Vayeni were able to access some pricing and deals that I might not have been able to on my own.

As it was my first trip to Africa, I had quite a few questions about how it would all work. Vayeni were very patient in answering these but next time round I would probably just have a few skype calls instead of sending e-mails back and forth. So I would advise you just to pick up the phone or skype if you have any questions.

All in all, I loved Zimbabwe and would encourage you to go. And if you do, I would not hesitate to recommend Vayeni to arrange it for you.

Good experience!
4/5

My wife and I went on a safari to Lake Nakuru (1 day) and Masai Mara (2 nights) in September 2016 during the Eid break in Dubai and it was simply amazing.
We were welcomed in Nairobi by Aruni, our guide/driver, who stayed with us the whole time. Aruni was very helpful in all situations, and we got to know the region, its people and its fauna quite well thanks to his explanations, stories and jokes. Ask for him if you were to book with Karibu.
Few points we were actually a bit disappointed about Karibu:
- Robert told us before the trip that we would be able to do a late game drive on the 1st evening we went to Masai Mara as well as 2 full days game drive the next days and finally a last early morning game drive on our last day before returning to Nairobi. However, this was not achievable and we only did the two full days game drive. Not that we wanted to do more, but I feel like the guys based in Nairobi overestimate their capacities and what they can deliver.
- Robert also gave us the names of the hotels where we were supposed to sleep but once in Kenya, we slept in different ones.
- Finally, Robert had confirmed to us before our trip that we would be provided with binoculars but it was not the case, which you can imagine is very disappointing especially when you can see rhinos about 500m from your car (and you can't get closer because the road stops) and you don't have binoculars to observe them.

Apart from those three points above, the trip went very well and Aruni was an amazing guide/driver.

Awesome 12-day safari
5/5

Dear Loth, we are now back from our 12 day-safari with your company since nearly a week and we are still enthusiastic about the experience! Brison and Osman were a harmoniously and very efficient team, so patiently and they both have a big knowledge about Tanzania and its nature and wildlife. They are calm in every situation and made us feeling safe and protected. Osman spoilt us every day with good and plentiful food and when we needed something else it was never a problem for him.
Observing other guides on the campgrounds we could value the big experience that Brison has on safaris as he was tireless and the most important thing for him was always our safety and comfortable stay. Every day he cleaned the car and the windows, he controlled the engine and the wheels and in case of problems he managed them all.
We felt as in a family, they are respectful and we enjoyed very much every day.
We also enjoyed the contact with you before coming to Tanzania, all your informations were helpful and we were so happy that you managed the appointment to share a morning in Loamo school in Arusha - a beautiful experience we will never forget!
So, thank you so much for everything, we came to Tanzania as strangers but we leave as friends! Asanthe sana to Ilmaasai. Ciao from Monika and Pietro
