I went on a 2 week trip that included a trek up Mt Meru and a safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Manyara, and Eyasi) through JIWE. We were interested in booking through a local Tanzanian tour operator rather than a foreign run one.
This ended up working great as Edgar was very responsive and helpful both in the planning stages and then while we were visiting. He showed in person to pick us up from the airport, get feedback at the transition from trek to safari, and at various points along the way (like helping us get COVID testing). He was also very professional in dealing with some last minute airline flight cancellations and made my trip much less stressful.
The guides he picked for us for the trek and safari were both knowledgeable and very friendly, important when you are spending so much time with them.
Our Meru team of guides and porters we're great. We had multi course meals and lots of food. We didn't have any gastrointestinal issues like of the other tour groups on mountain. We reached the successfully and saw the beautiful sunrise over Kilimanjaro.
We saw all the big 5 on our safari and had the privilege of seeing a lion pride hunt and catch prey in the Serengeti. We were also continually impressed by how nice the lodges we were staying in were .
The trip was very smooth and I can't recommend JIWE enough.

Always there for us
Great communication before and during safari tour. Everything was safe. The airport changed our flight time, but thanks to African Trails we still managed to see what we wanted because they started the tour very early in the morning.
Our guide was also amazing, he gave us some information about the animals and the places we saw, he offered other places to visit on our way to accomodation. I'm happy we chose this safari tour company.

Friendly, eager and knowledgeable
Besides the safari place itself, which is wonderful, the tour is very enjoyable. The guide is always looking for something new to see, in constant radio communication with other drivers in the park. The vehicle (land cruiser) was reliable, which can be a relief on some roads.

Spot on time at the pick up spot had an eventful journey to Ruaha National park. Our tour guide had organized all payments and was smooth all the way to the park. We had a wonderful 3 day trip with breath taking sunrise by the Ruaha river to adventures game drives and evening camp fires. Our tour guide knew all the spots to find game crowned by a pride of 7 lions. It was a great trip for the family; thanks Widman Tours and Safari.

Simply amazing, it was the trip of a lifetime

So first of all the experience with Suricata was amazing from the start to the end. The management worked perfectly. I enjoyed every second of the Safari. Our Driver James was amazing he knew about everything and he teached us about his knowledge. Me and my friends and the rest of the people in the car had such a cool atmosphere. We singed, laughed, connected it was simply an unforgettable experience. We had the opportunity to see big 5 which was breath taking. It is just beautiful how close the animals come to your car and greet you. Another great thing during our Safari was the our Cook Ben, he really prepared the most delicious meals. From amazing Pancakes till delicious meat with patatoes. The meals really fed up my stomach. The meals are always prepared fresh. I have to give a special thanks to James our Driver, Ben our Cook and Mandela our Driver on the last day. He also teached us a lot. After our five day Safari, Suricata Safaris also helped us choose a place in Zanzibar. The stay in Zanzibar was peaceful and relaxing. Overall it was a beautiful experience. This trip will for ever be in my memories. I learned so many things that I could be writing even more, but I want the people to experience it by themselves.

Great Safari with great company
I forgot our driver’s name but he was professional and nice. We choose Sino Africa Safari because our relatives introduced them to us. Our safari was perfect, we introduced a lot of friends to them and all received +ive feedback! They have good deals with all hotels and they have professional drivers! Trust me, choose them!

Amazing safari in Nyerere National Park!
We had a fabulous four-days safari in the Nyerere National Park in February 2022. We spent our nights at a small camp on an island in the Rufiji river. Our bungalow was right on the bank of the river with a magnificent view to the mighty Rufiji. Each day we took a boat to and from the park which really added to our daily safaris. Our guide, Gilbert was simply great! He was very professional with lot of knowledge about wildlife and where to find it. He did his best to show us the beauty of the park. And even when we gave up on something, he did not and showed us how patience pays :). We will definitely another, longer trip with him and I recommend Gilbert to anyone who wants to go on safari.
