I have been working with Patrick Manyika in various ways for three years, to support regular travel to Zambia and Zimbabwe with different groups and individuals. I have been working in Zimbabwe for the last 25 years. The service and support that Patrick and his colleague John Mazviito at Jibha Africa Safaris provided our two groups this May was outstanding. Traveling with 28 choral students, and supporting our performances all along the way is not a simple task, and they handled both our set-up and the execution of the program with professionalism and style. Heidi at Pembury tours is the best travel agent I have come across in many years of travelling around the world with many tour companies . She replies to emails promptly, answers questions in details and was readily available when needed for minor hiccups while we were on tour.

We booked a private safari in Tanzania and the local organisation was done by Safarihub. Everything went according to schedule and we received a very thourough briefing in their offices in Arusha. The person that attended to us was very friendly and helpfull and made sure that all our flights and hotels were reconfirmed.

Everything as arranged. Ibrahim our guide and driver excellent person and excellent deal. With him we saw all the expected animals and many more. He strives for everything to go well, that we all be at ease. Sam our spectacular cook. Delicious food. No personal or gastric prompts. Everything was excellent, best possible. I hope I can repeat. Out of this World
I couldn't expect better. Booked a tour just 15 days before arriving (crazy to book so last minute) and some hotels I chose were already full so they went with me through all the possibilities. They were always a pleasure to deal with, very charming and helpful and specially prompt to reply and would never be tired or bothered. We managed to do a fantastic itinerary in such a short notice and upon arrival I was greeted at the airport by Dickson, an amazing human being who taught us so much about all the species we found. Vehicle was pretty new and comfortable, no signs of wear. Couldn't expect better service. If some criticism is needed, I would recommend a better on site material (books, maps, etc) which I had not much.

Their excellence just cannot be described in one sentence so I won't even try.
I have been doing safaris arranged by them for about 20 years and every single time have they not just lived up to expectations, they have excelled themselves every single time with their professionalism, personal involvement and setting the bar higher for themselves each time. One just cannot describe the experience and the only way to truly appreciate and understand it, is to go and experience it yourself. Shaheen and Fareen are exceptional at what they do and never cease to amaze me with their ability to make your journey more enjoyable each time. The first time I went on a safari with them, I had written in their visitors' book that I would be back. I did mean it at the time, but had no idea that I would write the same thing every time thereafter and much less that I would honour my word every time which I did! In closing, I was there last month with a party of 50+ people and each and every one of them was fascinated by what they saw and I am sure most of them will return just as I did. As for me, I can't wait to get back! So Shaheen and Fareen, don't tell me I didn't warn you.

One of the best holidays I've ever been on.
I recently returned from a 7-day safari that I booked through Sayari Tano. I've given it 5-stars, I only have a couple of minor gripes/suggestions, and then I'll get into all the positives!
1) I was surprised that there was no paperwork to complete (Which is kind of a good thing), but there wasn't really any information provided as to what to bring etc. In itself, this wasn't a problem, I've travelled a lot and had a good idea anyway - nonetheless I found it surprising.
2) There was no payment required beforehand, which is fine. But upon arriving at the hotel and being asked to pay for the tour, I discovered that they had no credit card facilities. This was inconvenient as it meant I had to make 9 ATM withdrawals (due to the ATM cash withdrawal limits, and therefore also pay the associated bank charges charges) and carry large amounts of cash on several trips back and forth down the street of a third world country. Credit card facilities would be an easy and much appreciated improvement.
Now... For the good! WOW! Everything for the tour ran pretty smoothly and the itinerary was perfect. Tanzania is an amazing country, you won't be disappointed. Sayari Tano were professional and prompt to respond in their email correspondence. The Arusha Hotel Inn is an ok hotel, perfectly adequate for what you should expect for what you're paying. It's relatively clean and the rooms are secure. The safari itself was fantastic! The car comfortable and spacious and Julius our driver/guide was brilliant. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. GoodLuck, the chef and camp organiser outdid himself, the food was delicious and filling, and he was also super friendly and helpful. I can't speak as to the other guides and chefs working with Sayari Tano, but if you request Julius and GoodLuck, you cannot go wrong. They're amazing, and I can't say enough good things about them. They genuinely felt like family by the end of the safari.
Of the 40+ countries I've explored, Tanzania ranks as one of the best. If you're a photographer like me, it's paradise.
If you're thinking of doing a safari in Tanzania, do it with Sayari Tano. I'm recommending them to all my friends and family who are now considering going after seeing my photos and hearing about my adventures.

Awesome experience
From our first enquiry until the end of our trip Matoke Tours were excellent.Lionel in the office was helpful and informative.We did a 12 day tour including chimpanzee and gorilla trekking, everything was well organised and everywhere we stayed was delightful.The staff at all the lodges were friendly and always ready with a smile.The concern shown to my wife when she was ill was particularly touching.We knew that close encounters with the chimps and gorillas would be special but we're quite unprepared for the beauty of Uganda as a country,driving through the countryside and villages with Alfred,our driver,was a unique experience.Matoke tours made our holiday a memorable and special adventure,I can't rate them highly enough.
