Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
5/5

Okay we didn't really see tigers and bears but we did see all the other animals we hoped to see: 3 cheetahs, 4 lions, herds of elephants, many water buffalo, girafees, baboons, hyenas, rhinoceros, crocodiles, and more! Just had a lovely time with a great tour guide! We felt our guide was like the "Lion Whisperer" as he found them hidden and yet seemed to know where they were. Very cool

Great guide, Great tour, Great company - we couldn't expect any better!
5/5

We wanted to have 2-days tour of the Masai Mara. We came especially for that to Kenya. We had a great guy coming to our hotel - Ben - who picked us up and took us downtown to meet Chris, the manager. We met lovely people and very honest who explained us what we are going to have. Ben brought plenty of water and we went on our Safari tour for two days.
Everything was excellent. We arrived on time to the hotel ( a 5-stars hotel in the Safari!) and did our first day, then on the day after we had another half day and then drove back.

Our guide - Ben - was just amazing. explained us everything he knew about each and every animal. Definitely when I come back to Kenya - I would go again with these guys.

Overall - we felt VERY safe, we had an amazing tour and I wish that next time I'll be there - I'll have them again doing our tour.

Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru Trip
5/5

I can only recommend this tour operator. Daniel, our guide, was really helpful, and prepared everything according to our needs, despite having many special requirements (not that we are pampered, we actually wanted less support than is common, to make it bigger challenge) . Also, his moral support and great food from our chef Steve certainly helped us all to reach Mount Meru and Kili peaks.

It's hard for me to rate it anything less than five stars, but maybe i'm just not demanding reviewer as this was basically my first trip with any tour operator. With my friends we usually travel and hike unsupported.

Wonderful experience
5/5

The communication with Fika Safaris went pretty smooth. Initially we wanted to stay at a lodge, which would be pretty expensive. They gave us a price for that lodge, but also for another one. One that suited us much better. It was nice that they gave us another, better option. The camp was wonderful, it had a deck with a beautiful view over the park.
Our driver was also pretty great. He had a good sense of humor and could tell us a lot about the animals.
Over all a very good experience, would definitely recommend Fika Safaris.

Richard is the MOST careful driver we have ever had.
5/5

We asked Richard to be our driver and guide. We have had many Safari experiences in several countries, and Richard is the best driver we have ever had. He slowed down for the many pot holes and ditches we drove through during our 14 day Safari. Over the years we have had many drivers and some have gone so fast over bumps that we were bounded out of our seats and hit our heads on the roof of the vehicle! We truly appreciated Richard's driving skills and the care he took to make sure we were comfortable.

We saw many areas of Tanzania, and our favorites were:
- Balloon ride over the Serengeti
- Tarangire National Park for the MANY elephants there. We took tons of photos and videos of elephants close to our vehicle (Tarangire park has tsetse flies, so take good bug repellant)
- Ngorongoro Crater is amazing for seeing almost every species of animal in one day. If I only had one day for a Safari, I would go to Ngorongoro

We also went to Lake Victoria, but it was a long drive to get there, and we felt it wasn't worth the travel. We enjoyed our boat ride on the lake and seeing the local fishermen, but it is not a place to see any wild game, and is not as set up for the tourists.

Most wonderful vacation experience
5/5

I most want to say how much I appreciate the excellent work of Justin. He not only set out an outstanding itinerary that went off perfectly but also was so very responsive in helping us during our journey. One of my daughters luggage did not arrive in South Africa. Justin was easily available by phone and text and went out of his way to get the luggage delivered to the lodge in Sabi Sands. His level of service exceeded expectations. All of the drivers, guides and staff were professional and engaging. The game drives and animal sightings stupendous. The lodges were beautiful and the food fantastic. I cannot recommend PaperJet and Justin highly enough.

Very well organised, good guiding, many animal experience, all 3 lodges very good, also the meals.
5/5

Very good planning and communication with rapid answer to all our questions.
Good service and very good driver and guide (Livingstone) who knew all the animals and how to find them.
The safari was very varied with 3 different lodges and everyone had something different to show us on the safari.
We were satisfied with 2 nights in all 3 lodges.
The safari was living up to our expectations.
NB ! In Norway we always use seat belts when driving on motorways and we will recommend this except on the safari trips.

Comfortable and relaxed trip with Fika Safaris
5/5

Recently me and my family traveled with Fika Safaris to Masai Mara. We stayed at Camp Ilkeliani. Robert put the trip together with much concern, because originally we had another hotel in mind, but suggested in the travel proposal was Ilkeliani Camp. For me, a less-known camp. That was very nice and surprising, that way you really get presented a personalized trip. Big plus: the car is yours alone and you will not be put together with other travelers. This is common in other travel companies.

On the trip itself, our driver / guide Amos ensured we felt at ease and comfortable. He testifies of experience and professionalism and has a good sense of humor. Also, I was amazed at his vast range of knowledge; he knows to answer all questions about the wildlife and landscape. He also prepared a lunch in the African landscape, with views of hippos! Every day he came by at dinner to ask for us and talk the next day through. This way we could tailor our journey to our own desires.

The small scale camp was very comfortable and quiet. The tents were spacious and offered everything you need, but you still feel like you are camping in the wild. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good and in the right proportions. The staff is very friendly and there is a lot of attention to your stay.

In summary we had a fantastic trip, set up very personally and with care!

Safari at it's best
5/5

Organization: due to the heavy rainfalls in Jan/Feb, the travel itinery had to be adjusted, but it was perfectly organized and everything went very well. We think, plan B was even better than the originally planned trip! it was a kind of "Surprise"-Safari.
The crew is unbelievable great, pampering, super friendly, perfect in cooking!!
The safari itself was amazing, and we had a perfect guide, Eddie. Huge experience and knowledge of nature and animals and life itself. Thank you for this and these amazing two weeks!

Great touristic experience !
5/5

It went really, one of the best touristic experience in my life.
The bad points that I can find are the weather, we cannot do anything about that only God's wiling, and I haven't seen a Leopard, but I guess they are really rare so for my next safari, I will take a longer journey in a safari.
Anyway, thank you for everything it was awesome !
