The car that we traveled was not the first youth, but in terms of cleanliness and technical condition without major complaints (cars used by Safari companies are usually Toyota Land Cruiser J70 before and after lift, we came across the original version of this vehicle). A guide with several years of experience was the strongest point of the entire Safari. In our opinion, the price-quality ratio was a plus. We had an amazing experience accomplished so much in one day!
Plane left Zanzibar and after a short flight landed in the middle of Nyerere park.
Our driver did above and beyond in order for us to see all the animals and actually he was the first to take us to see the lions.
All other card got stuck in mud @ one point however we were able to get out without much effort.
An amazing safari experience, off road and definitely able to get close to lions, hyenas , giraffe, gazelle, hypopotaames, buffaloes, elephants, monkeys, zebras and I’m sure I left many behind..

Ben was great/funny/humorous/knowledgeable & made sure we got to see most animals
Initially, I wasn't interested in Masai Mara safari but after the trip I have admit this was an experience of a lifetime. I go to see most of the animals except Rhino. On the first day we early morning we got to see a buffalo killed by two lions in front of our eyes and very close. The Jambo Mara lodges were luxurious, comfortable, with a pool to swim. Safari was very hectic as you would go on the drive at 6am. The jeep was very comfortable with 9 people on board. We got stuck in the mud twice and Ben the driver with other tour jeeps was able to pull us out. It was very safe and Ben was knowledgeable about different animals and was able to answer all our queries. He made an extra effort to make sure we get to see all animals except the Rhino which was no where to be found. We saw plenty of Zebras, Buffalo, Elephants, Giraffe, Hyenas, Cheetah, Lions, Deer to name a few. Also saw vultures, Secretary bird and the national bird of Uganda. Loved every minute of the safari. I would highly recommend anyone of all ages to take the safari by Karibu Safari as they are reliable, honest and dependable. Robert from 'Karibu Safari' was most helpful and guided me through the whole process before coming to Kenya.
My suggestion would be to extend the safari by one day so on the last day people can relax in Jambo Mara pool side and enjoy the food & drinks before returning to Nairobi. I found Kenyans to be very friendly, hospitable, & nice to deal with. I am sold on Kenya,,,,, lovely country & people,,,,,,,,, Hakuna Matata !! I will never forget it !!

We spent 3 wonderful days of safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Samir, our driver-guide was simply exceptional. He taught us a lot about animals and had a keen eye for finding them. We had a good time in general with him. We recommend this tour operator!!!!
