My name is Cosmas.I had an opportunity to travel with Bovid Africa Safaris on 19th and 20th June 2021with my friend's.Our aim was to go for an overnight comping to lake Baringo.The journey started very well early in
the morning,the drive was awesome where we heard our 1st stop at the Great Rift valley where we enjoyed the view of the escapements and some few birds .later we continued with the journey where we had a smooth drive of enjoying the nature.we enjoyed seeing
Thomson's gazelles and Common zebra's atNaivasha, The guides were very active where we interacted with them and were able to explain everything about nature on the way.
Upon the arrival to lake Baringo which lies within the Great Rift valley the guide's had a blief explanation about the area as we were
setting our tents .we had several activities that everning which included birdwatching around
the escapements of Rift valley which was not far from the lake which was lead by special guides who had knowledge in nature.The common birds we experienced were Owl's and Ravel's which had their habitats in the escapements..
After birdwatching watching we went back to the comping site where the chef's had prepared best and delicious meal.we enjoyed the bonfire where we had set our sits enjoying different types of funny games led by our guides which made me to give a yes to BOVID AFRICA SAFARIS
Next morning which was our last day of our trip,we had a morning boat ride where our main theme was to enjoy watching birds around the lake.There were different species and the common ones were herons, kingfisher's,and many other species..the ride was owesome and hope to visit the place again...
We also visited lake Bogoria which is also located at the Great Rift valley where we enjoyed the hots springs of Bogoria and view of flamingoes.it was a great experience we managed to record more 100 different species of birds by the help of Bovid tour guides who are the best when it comes to tourguiding.
Therefore I would like to thank BOVID AFRICA SAFARIS who has the best tourguides when it comes to explore of Nature. Bejond expectations. What a culture and wildlife. Great way to experience Tanzania. We mixed basic own tent nights with lodges, we mixed safari with culture, we mixed active with driving.
Lot of driving if you want to discover Tanzania, mainly dirt roads. Would not advice to bring kids < 14. Their way of live and envirement is so different than ours, which makes its real travel..

I got into contact with MJ Safaris/Trekking Heroes after running the Kilimanjaro Marathon in 2019 as I stayed at YMCA Moshi were their offices are located. Abu(Jacksons brother) welcomed me so warmly and answered all my queries and gave me Jacksons contacts. Fast forward to February 2020 I made my initial deposit with the aim of hiking Kilimanjaro in Late March/Early April 2020 then Covid struck. Jackson Lyimo was so accommodative and understanding and assured me that my deposit was safe and I could hike the mountain whenever I was ready. On saturday 24th July 2021(almost a year and a half later) after finishing a work assignment in Moshi I popped into their office to check if I could do the hike, much to my amazement Jackson Lyimo and his brother Abu(this is the guy mostly at the office) organized everything and I started my hike on Sunday 25th a 5 day hike via the Marangu route, I did not have the hiking gear which they provided at amazingly reasonable fees for hire, despite the park fees having been reviewed up by the Tanzanian government I was not charged any extra fees based on the fact that I had paid my deposit almost a year and a half earlier. The hiking guide Athumani was one of the nicest, easy going fellows I have ever interacted with and is well versed with any info regarding safaris and hikes and the cook was excellent serving hot meals every other day, I was so well taken care of during the entire hike duration despite having haggled so hard to get discounted prices for the hike. Would recommend MJ Safaris/Trekking Heroes any day anytime for budget safaris and hikes in Tanzania

The Jocky Tours and Safaris is undoubtedly one of the best Safaris Agency I have ever had. I booked my tour with the help of Dany (+254 727 724921) and the pickup person James (+254 722 225107) had the best safari experience of my life. The three days we spend at Mara were full of adventure and beautiful memories. We enjoyed seeing the Africa Big Five, need to specially thank Mr.James our driver who helped us a lot to spot the lions, elephants, cheetahs, and Zebras that roamed in the Mara. The beautiful and rugged terrain coupled by the lions that walked majestically as they waited for their next prey was refreshing. We would send the nights at Rhino Camp , accommodation that summed up the magical safari at Mara. I thank Jocky tours for making this safari memorable and without any furore. I totally recommend their professional services. Happy Safari everyone. Remember to enjoy yourselves!

Helpful, kind and open people.
The tour was very affordable. We had a few small changes to our itinerary but we understand why in these covid times. The office staff were really helpful with rides, fixing an accommodation issue and helping with covid testing. David was particularly helpful. The parks we all amazing and our driver, James, was great and knowledgeable. The accommodation and food was good value for the cost of the tour. We hope to visit this beautiful country again one day!

Affordable and trustworthy
Thank you Drones (branch of Baboon Budget Safaris) for organising this incredible adventure. Thanks Reuben and Anthony - driver guides - for being always on time, for the knowledge they were so willing to share, for care and especially for thier respect to the wildlife. Choosing budget option I was a bit afraid of accommodation contidions but, as it occured, without need - they were simple but clean and safe. It is typical in Kenya that commuting takes a lot of time (somtimes during safari it takes whole day to go from one park to another) but I was ready for that.
If you are single traveller and wonder if to choose this option I strongly advise you to - beside safe and nice stay you can meet incredible people on the way!
