Knowledgable and safe
5/5

Our guide was very knowledgable and patient with all our questions. He put our safety first and was able to present the best of Africa to us by bringing us to places where we could watch the animals.

All accommodation recommended and booked by Jackpot Safaris was top notch.

We wold highly recommend this safari organizer to anyone wanting to get a real African experience.

Great volunteering and safari experience.
4/5

Prior to coming on my trip I had plenty of opportunity to speak to the owners to make sure my trip was organised to cater for my wish to combine volunteering at the school and seeing some of the safari opportunities in Uganda. Bunyonyi View Gorilla Packers was a comfortable place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. The setting by the lake is beautiful. Volunteering at the school was a life changing experience and it was great to spend time with the children. While I was there I was able to go on safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park where I saw a good range of wildlife-the boat trip along the Kazinga channel was a highlight. I also had the opportunity to go on a boat trip on Lake Bunyonyi and to take a forest walk. I would recommend this as a great way to spend time with the children and teachers and appreciate their way of life and also to see some of the amazing landscapes and wildlife of Uganda.

A fantastic once-in-a-lifetime experience
5/5

We went to Tanzania for a week long safari tour. Pita Safaris were very informative, helpful and personal. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. We had a jeep to ourselves, which was wonderful. The "tented" accommodation and catered meals were absolutely first class. Every day we experienced new and fantastic scenery and wildlife. We were thrilled with the views and we were amazed at the abundance of wildlife and the proximity at which we could experience it. We were able to see some wonderful activity, from massive herds, elephants bathing, giraffes running, hippos fighting, lions running, little lion cubs eating and playing and hyenas surrounding lions waiting to take their dinner, to mention but a few. It truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, made very special by Pita Safaris. Somehow they managed to make the whole trip both exciting and relaxing! I would highly recommend Tanzania as a place to visit, and Pita Safaris as an excellent way to experience the wildlife and scenery. Thank you for everything. We had a wonderful honeymoon.

Uganda a MUST-SEE travel destination specially with Grassrootz Adventure!!
5/5

Grassrootz Adventure is a great organization for an unforgettable safari!

It was the second time we booked a safari with Grassrootz Adventure, because the first time we had a really good experience with them.
We planned the trip by our selves and the guide gave us good advice for campings, hotels, restaurants and amazing places where we never go by ourselves.
One night we slept in the middle of the jungle by the river between Congo and Uganda.
We heard a lot of sounds from wild animals like elephants, lions and hippo's, very exciting!!
Both times we had a reliable driver and a very experienced guide, we saw a lot of wildlife even some climbing tree lions.
We had close contact with the local people and we visited the Karamoja and other projects.
So if you want a great safari and if you want to see the culture of Uganda, Grassrootz Adventure is the best choice!!

Perfect service!
5/5

I was very happy with the professional service: clear proposals in a timely matter. Upon arrival, everything went smoothly from the airport transfer to the safari in Masai Mara which made our stay in Kenya unforgettable!

One day safari tour - Akagera National Park
5/5

I had one day safari tour in Akagera National Park in October. I was visiting Kigali, Rwanda for work and had one free day with a 8pm flight back home. When I sent an email with inquiry, I explained my situation with returning flight in the evening, and I was very happy to know that the company could take me to airport right after safari drive. Frank was extremely helpful by meeting with me a day before at my hotel and going over the logistics of the tour. He showed me a photo of the car and explained that it would be a half day tour because of my flight. Also, he recommended to check out from the hotel early in the morning and go to the tour with my luggage. My driver was very professional, he provided water and made sure I was comfortable. The drive to the park was about two hours on a very good condition road. The scenery outside of Kigali is absolutely breathtaking! It is a land of thousand hills and beautiful. The park's visitor center is very nice and has an exhibit. The park has lots of animals and my driver made sure I saw most of the animals and was able to make videos/take pictures. Also, my driver recommended to pack lunch to eat in the park's picnic area which is an open space with a view of animals. We returned to Kigali early, I had plenty of time in the airport to shop, etc. This company is very responsible and provides great service to its customers.

Dusty Roads - perfect name for the company, as it is very dusty in all Tansania! We have very good memories from our 7-day Machame Route Kilimanjaro Trek. We book the trip from Europe and we chose "Dusty" as I was very impressed with contact via email with Mollel from the very beginning and have to say it stayed like that till the last minute of our trip. Mollel is extremely nice person, he will take very good care of you.
We took the budget option for Kilimanjaro and we strongly recommend it. You will get 12-people team (2xguide,1xcook and 9xporter). The food was tasty, varied and the portions were bigger than we could eat. Guides (Abdi and Frank) walk with you during trek route all the time, they ask you often about your condition and make sure you eat and drink a lot. Also they have been a massive support for me while reaching summit!
All the trip plan also matched with the description which we received earlier, so no surprises...maybe only one - nice gift box from Mollel on our departure and support with buying some souvenirs :)

Incredible from start to finish! 10/10
5/5

I have just returned from what can only be described as a trip of a lifetime on the 7 Day North with Wild Dog Safaris.

Having been apprehensive initially about camping my fears quickly disappeared. The camps that we stayed at throughout the trip were all clean, spacious and had fantastic views. The tents were spacious and easy to both put up and take down. Our guide George and the Assistant Joseph were both incredible. Georges knowledge and passion for Namibia and animals was infectious and Josephs culinary skills left absolutely nobody hungry including both vegetarians and gluten-free clients on my trip, a real credit to the organisation!

The game drives through Etosha National Park are most definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was lucky enough to see four of the big five (no buffalo in Etosha) along with giraffes, zebra, rhino and many more. The floodlight waterhole at the second night in Etosha was most definitely one of those experiences I shall never forget.

Both the Himba tribe experience as well as the Twyfelfontein trail walk were real eye openers and broke up the time spent in the truck nicely. The trucks have huge windows as well as a roof that you are able to open up to get a view from high on the game trails and considering the amount of miles they do and different terrains were much cleaner and more comfortable than I had expected.

Namibia is a fantastic country and using Wild Dog Safaris was most definitely the right decision. I would 100% recommend Wild Dog and I have already started looking at other tours with the tour group. 10/10

Satisfying and fulfilling gorilla trekking and wildlife experience.
5/5

Our safari with sight seeing safaris was satisfying and fulfilling during our 5 day gorilla trekking and wildlife experience. I knew that to enjoy the best of our safari, we had to find a safari company that is dependable and knowledgeable about Uganda and wildlife in general. This is exactly what sight seeing safaris offered us. Robert who was our guide was so dependable and knowledgeable. It was a trip to always remember.
