The trip was awesome. It's a long bumpy journey that is broken with a view if the rift valley then lunch. There is no rush. The accomodation is basic. Comfortable and clean. Take a torch. Food is Kenyan buffet traditional food and lots of it. You are there for the animals and experience which was fantastic. We had a lot of rain the first day but still went out and saw a lion. The full say we saw everything. Our guide James was fantastic and took us everywhere and we saw cheetahs lots of lions elephants lupi giraffes everything it was amazing... I went to the local masai camp and would recommend doing so. It's an eye opener. We then went to Lake Navaisha on the way back which again was great. It takes a long time travelling back to Nairobi. Be prepared the roads are great. We had 5 if us in the van which meant we had space. I would highly recommend it.

Easy budget safari--saw everything in 5 days
Silas was very proactive in communicating to provide different safari options within budget to ensure we managed to get the best experience in our short time in Kenya. It was also a last minute trip for a conference in Nairobi and he managed to arrange a 5 day safari at very short notice.
Our safari was an amazing cost-effective solution--we did Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru and, across the three parks, were able to see all of the Big 5 (including a leopard cub) along with every other Kenyan animal you could hope for (cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest etc. etc.).
Our driver/guide Sammy was very pleasant and professional and went out of his way to accommodate the group and any requests.
Overall I would highly recommend Silas, Sammy and Apodiformes Adventures for your safari in Kenya.

Magical December Holiday
What a trip!!! David, you are an absolute treat and certainly our new friend and favorite person in Kenya. For those that don’t know, my friend and I traveled to Kenya on holiday. We are two mid 20’s girls and David could not have made us feel any more safe, happy and welcomed. David is incredibly knowledgeable of Kenya, animals, the migration etc. hoping to come back to Kenya in the next 3 years (will try a new park and fly out to Zanzibar) and I will certainly reach back out to David! Ben was a prompt, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide who how to find close views of the animals.
We could not have asked for better service—I would say it exceeded our expectations, all at a price much more affordable than other options we explored.
Happy Moments met all of our requests from tour location—Mwanza, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Moshi—to food, to accommodations—all within our short time frame of four days. We saw the Big Five, many of them 50 meters or closer, and much, much more. Ben, our guide, seemed to enjoy the safari as much as we did, which made us feel relaxed. Benson, the owner, was flexible from beginning to end and more than once patiently helped us work through last minute changes. I can’t say enough good things about Happy Moments.

Communication via e-mail with Vivian was perfect. Our guide Apolo was fantastic. We had 3 days Mikumi with Maasai Village. It was awesome. We saw many animals (Apolo knew everything about them). Camp Bastian was beautiful with delicious food and Maasai village was unforgettable. We recommend it!

Great 5-day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
I booked a 5-day safari for two people with Suricata to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Hilary was very responsive during the process of refining the itinerary, choosing the accommodations, etc. I never had to wait long for an answer. Our guide, Ezekiel, was awesome. Firstly, he has a lot of energy when looking for animals and doesn't give up easily. He was also nice to enough to bring us to a lot of water holes as I'm a big hippo fan. Secondly, Ezekiel is a great driver. It was raining quite a lot while we were there but we didn't get stuck even once, which in my opinion is almost a miracle considering the state of the roads in Serengeti after a rain. Finally, Ezekiel is very fun and at the same time knows so much about animals - names, facts, habits, anything. Overall, we had an awesome trip and I can only recommend it to everyone else!
