We travelled during Covid which was a concern for us. Alym and his people on the ground in Nairobi were so knowledgeable about all the hoops we had to jump through to travel, they made it almost seamless. Alym put together a trip for us at our price point that we asked for and it was outstanding. They figured out all of the transfers to and from airports, hotels and camps. There were 9 flights involved in our itinerary from Canada. Alym and his team had the trip so well planned we did not have to think of anything. We were in contact with Alym or one of his team anytime we needed a question answered, it felt like they were travelling with us.
We went to three camps, Elewana Safari Camp in the Lewa Conservancy, Elephant Bedroom Camp in Samburu National Reserve and Kichwa Tembo and Beyond in Mara North Conservancy. It was explained to us that each would be different in terrain and animals and none of them disappointed. The tents in all of the camps were all luxurious and the food was outstanding at each camp. We saw more animals then we ever expected to see and saw things that 2 of the guides had never seen before. Speaking of the guides, they were outstanding at each camp, very friendly, easy to understand and very knowledgeable. We went to see animals and we were so excited and overwhelmed to see what we saw, it was a life changing experience for us!!
We added 3 nights in Zanzibar for a little beach time and the locations there were outstanding. We stayed at Breezes Beach Club and Zanzibar Serena Hotel, it was so nice swimming in the Indian Ocean and each location had beautiful pools.
We have travelled a lot over the years but this was our first African experience. We will travel to the continent again and we will only deal with East Africa Wild Adventures.

2 hours late and ripping me off
Booked a day trip to Arusha NP with Seka from Taste of Africa. The guide was supposed to pick me up at 7.30, but at the agreed time there was no one to be seen. No one from the company was available until I got a call from Seka at 8:55 AM. He told me that there was a problem, but that it was solved and that he would come in half an hour. At 9:25 AM I was finally picked up by Seka and the guide, after which we still had to leave for Arusha NP.
Seka left and I continued with the guide and we were only at the park well after 11 o'clock, where we then also had to wait at the entrance because the entrance fee had not yet been paid...
We had a nice day and the guide did his best, but was not very experienced and often busy taking selfies. He didn't know the answer on many questions and didn't know the animals very well. He also said that unfortunately this was not the first time that Taste of Afrika was late, because the owner was a drunk and often overslept.
We nearly ran out of time to see the entire park, but luckily we managed to do so in the end because the guide drove very fast.
I didn't get a discount on this day trip, but could get a discount on another day trip. However, I got the same price as quote as I've had before, so Seka wanted to rip me off again.
I would definitely not recommend Taste of Africa.

Fantastic Safari!
At the end of October / beginning of November I went on safari with Ben (one of the owners). It was a fantastic safari! Ben is very friendly and great tour company. He has an insanely good eye for spotting wildlife, which is of course a very nice characteristic when you are on safari!
Every day again it was a beautiful one with beautiful routes, landscapes and wildlife! The safari car was fine and did what it was supposed to do and Marion was a very nice help in planning the route! The chosen places to stay were also very nice and were actually all above expectations!
If you want to go on safari in Tanzania, definitely choose Caracal Safari because of their personal touch, expertise and beautiful routes and overnight stays!

A life experience !
Wonderful safari ! Exceptional service ! Everything perfect ! From the shuttle from/to the airport to the talented drivers (Felix was just amazing, knowledgeable and dedicated to the clients. He made more than expected to bring the Big Five miracle happen. ) And we did saw it all !. On the admin side, Willis was always there in the organisation process to answer our questions and help make this trip a real success. A real pro team.!

Best experience to see the mountain gorillas
We had an absolutely fantastic 7 day tour of Uganda travelling with Haron from African sunset Safaris. This trip had been planned for two years and had to be postponed in 2020. Haron was very responsive and accommodating throughout in making sure that my permits and reservations and accommodations were taken care of and rearranged.
Haron is knowledgeable and extremely professional in all aspects. He knows his way around all the parks and is familiar with many of the park rangers and staff in order to make sure you have the best experience. He enjoys taking photos as much as we do and he made sure we got the best photo opportunities whether we were in the truck or on my chimpanzee and gorilla tracking - he made sure the other guides were also taking care of me.
Haron provided great company and lots of interesting facts as we drove through the country. We saw different chimpanzees in different groups and mountain gorillas

Very well organized and wonderful people
We had a 10-day customized safari across Namibia and the experience was excellent. Thinus, our guide, really helped us in organizing and crafting the perfect tour for our family for a very good price. We visited the most beautiful places across Namibia: Etosha, Skeleton Coast, Swakopmund, Sossusvlei and Windhoek. All accommodation, leisure & restaurants were perfect for our taste.
It was an overall amazing experience!

Expectations exceeded
We went on a 6 day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara with guide/driver Joseph. He is an expert driver and very good company, with also a good radar of when to provide information and when to Just let you enjoy the moment. The car was super, routes perfect and hotels better than expected, with Ikoma Wildcamp as absolute best.

Trustworthy, reliable and very pleasant.
I've used the services of Africompass for quite a few years. The staff and management were able to bring the right solutions to me and my family. Whether it was arranging transport and safari arrangements in Maasi Mara, or assisting with needs in Nairobi. In the over 15 trips with them, we have ALWAYS had friendly and safe people take care of us.
For us, safety is quite important, and Africompass staff drive nicely and give relevant advice about any safety concerns we may be concerned about (which is usually quite minor, but puts the remaining parts of our minds at ease.)
I strongly recommend if you have safari, excursion or transport needs, consult with them early in your planning. They have the local knowledge and long time experience to ensure you are cared for.

Mt Kenya - Professional and personal!
Great tour organized by Keshi, we climbed mt Kenya from chegoria side in 4 days and it was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Keshi, Chege and the rest of the team are all super professional and understand they’re clients well. The personal touch and great talks made it even more special, and the campsites in full nature were amazing. Great value for money, would recommend to anyone!
