The perfect safari experience!
5/5

It was not our first safari, but it was our best because Director and driver /guide alike went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Director of Drive Tanzania (Yoeni), a most friendly person, welcomed us at airport, and helped us sort out some difficult paper work even though our contract was only for car/driver rental. The driver/guide named Ezekiel was of great company. He drove safely and was very knowledgeable. He was responsive to our wishes and took us to see a fabulous variety of animals, the highlight being cheetahs' and lions' families with young ones. The car was somewhat old but sturdy and proved to be fully reliable on Tanzania's dirt roads that are generally in a very bad shape. We came back happy and strongly recommend Yoeni and his team for your driving/safari needs.

Murchison Falls has it all !!
4/5

I went on a 3 day trip with Grassrootz Adventures to Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP). Pick up was in Kampala. In the program was a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, Gamedrive in MFNP, Boattrip and hike to the falls and a Chimp trekking. What I liked about the program was the diversity. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise early in the morning before the gamedrive, trekking the forest to look for chimps and sit on top of the van to enjoy the beautiful nature of Murchison Falls National Park (and the driver driving with 60 km/h). Our guide/driver was very willing to tell as much as possible, about animals but also about some history of Uganda. So I can say that the total experience was very nice, absolutely I can recommend to go to MFNP with Grassrootz Adventures. Murchison Falls has it all !!

The service from the driver, David, was excellent, on time, informative, safe driving in exhaustive traffic and pleasant company. The walk, cycling, boat ride were unforgettable. The guides were friendly, well informed and pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised and left speechless with the wonderful animals, birdlife, trees and scenery.

Personalised safari tour Victoria Falls, Chobe River and Kruger NP.
5/5

My trip was excellent, well organised and exactly what I was looking for. Each courier or guide was on time and well prepared. Motels and Lodges were high quality and excelled in customer service. Locations were perfect for easy safari trips morning and evening, I was never disappointed. The consultant from African Ubuntu, Diederik, did a fantastic job of coordinating flights, couriers, accomodation and guides to deliver my perfect holiday.

As a couple we booked with Gosheni online. We travelled with a guide (Erasto) We had a truly wonderful time. The camps, unlimited kms Erastos knowlegde of the wildlife and great personality made this a trip of a lifetime. The camps and other accommodation were of a high standard. The landcruiser was very comfortable with a cool box where were provided with cold water, soft drinks, and wine with our lunch if desired.Peter was easy to communicate with to design a tailored safari for us.We like that the company is Tanzania owned. When talking to people travelling with other companies they told us that they had to pay for water after they had drunk there 500 ml provided bottle and they were on limited kms. When comparing prices we really had the better deal.I would recommend Gosheni to anyone wishing to have a special safari they really deliver a great service.

This is a beautiful park, which is crossed by the River Nile. There are lots of wild animals and and an abundance of birds. The boat trip on the Nile, towards the Falls is unforgettable.

Beautiful Kiliminjaro overlooking a small but wildlife-rich National Park teeming with beasts.

My road research proved correct as there is only one road from Nairobi to Amboseli and that is the C103 off the A109 Mombasa Road. It was a smooth tarmac road offering fantastic views of the South Rift Valley. Amboseli itself is a compact park - easy to navigate and drive around - and it was the first of Kenya's game parks to actually offer me an illustrated map, which was really useful.

Barely through the gate and you see wildebeest and ostrich...then giraffe, impala and then a herd of elephants. I had a pass for 48 hours and the first day I drove one loop around the park concentrating on the animals - as Mount Kilimanjaro was typically shrouded in cloud for the day. There is usually only an hour at dawn and an hour at dusk when the peak is visible. True enough, the following morning it was clear at 6am but clouded over shortly after. On my third day of the trip, things were delightfully different. The peak stayed could-free until 8:30am which allowed me to re-enter the park and take some coveted photographs of wildlife and mountain in harmony. This was definitely the highlight of the trip. Other Kenya parks are flat but Amboseli serves up Mount Kilimanjaro which actually ticks many travellers' life-ling ambitions - mine included.

The accommodation, AA Lodge, was perfect - self-contained chalet / bandas are very private and quiet. It didn't matter to me that I was outside of the Park as my resident Park fee was valid for 48 hrs. The pool was essential; it was so dry and hot that the dip in the water was a necessity. There were very few guests and the food was plain but the service was faultless. Such friendly staff.
