Great experience!!! Everything organized perfectly!! My wish was for a long time to visit Kalahari. I had better experience than I expected and all thanks to Tende and his team!! I believe that every person should experience safari in Kalahari. The nature is in harmony with animals and Tende is full of knowledge to present you all of that and make your experience even better!! Looking forward for our next adventure!! For sure I will be back!!

Scam: DO NOT BOOK
This tour operator is a complete scam, and they ripped my friend and I off of $1800.
We were supposed to go to on a safari with them in May, but due to Coronavirus, we needed to cancel. They said they could only refund 60% of what we paid according to their terms and conditions, which we agreed to. However, they never ended up paying us anything, they just continued to lie and come up with new excuses each time I asked for the money they owed us.
I even offered to do an installment plan, where they would pay me about $150 once a month until the balance was paid, but they didn’t pay me on the first date agreed upon, they just came up with some unintelligible excuse as quoted from my most recent email with them:
“We were by this time supposed to have started giving you back the money due to you. However, with the work system between us and line hotels we got to wait for the feedback as our bookings are normally done under group trip plans NOT individual names that you can ask from outside and get to know as such.”
The above doesn’t make any sense, since they never even made a reservation at any hotel for us.
After seeing a 1 star review in February, I decided to contact all the hotels that we were supposed to stay at to confirm that there was a reservation with this company. Each hotel said they had no reservations and had never worked with them before. I confronted Edmond about it, and he said they were going to eventually make a reservation, but I called the hotels again two weeks before we agreed to our installment plan, and they had still never heard of them. Therefore, he was blatantly lying to me in his last email.
Trust me, there were many other irregularities and blatant lies they told us that would take too long to type.
TLDR: They are liars, and a complete scam. Please pay a little bit more for a reputable tour operator that is KATO certified, NOT these con artists.

Excellent services with standard Safaris
Standard Safaris and Alex were so amazing and made our trip to Africa a once in a life time great experience. Alex and his team made every aspect of traveling to anew region easy and fun. All of our transports arrived on time and were very friendly. The tours we took of Murchison Falls,Bwindi,Lake Bunyonyi, & kibale were all lead by great tour guides who were very knowledgeable, friendly,& eager to please. They always made sure we were comfortable and as a result we were able to just sit back and relax the whole trip. All the meals we had were terrific, our hotels were beautiful and great customer services and an amazing views. Great experience and l highly recommended Standard Safaris to any one traveling to this beautiful part of the globe.

Mr. Wilson is by far the best and an amazingly honest tour operator
Mr. Wilson is an incredibly honest man and the best tour operator i ever arrange a trip. My story with him is as follows. I did a trip all around the coastline of Africa for 8 months. In this trip was included many safaris including one at Maasai Mara which i booked with Mr. Wilson. I visited an embassy at Nairobi to make my visa for the next country. When i got out i sat down on the grass down a tree in front of the street and i started searching for a travel agency to go to book a safari for Maasai mara. I needed to do it that day because i knew the time was limitted for me and if i wanted to go at maasai mara i should arrange it the same day. That day, or never. I was searching information whether i can do it in one day. Leave from Nairobi go for safari and come back. Everybody at internet was telling that it is not possible for one day and the shortest time you can do it is three days. Then Mr. Wilson passed from that place he saw me in a deep thinking, he understand that i am a tourist and came to help me. He asked me nicely "Hello sir can i help you?" I asked him if he knows anything about maasai mara safaris and he told me that of course and that he is a tour operator. At the beggining i didnt believe him koz i couldnt believe that i found the man i was searching in the middle of nowhere. Then he show me his bussiness card and some chats with people at his whatsapp thanking him for the amazing safari he arrange for them. So i started trusting him. Then he told me that he can also arrange a safari for one day but it is not a good idea because i will not see anything and that the best option is a three day safari and he was ABSOLUTELY right. He gave me the best price, i booked it and everything was exactly as he told me. The reason i am calling him a honest man is not this. This makes him an incredible tour operator. He is a honest man because the next day before we start our trip to maasai i wanted to send a package back to my country with the post office. I told him about this and he told me dont worry. He came with a car to my hostel at early morning the next day he took me we went to find a good big box at super markets to put my things and we went to the post office. I arrange the box, they told me how much it costs and we were waiting some people to come and check what i was sending. The time to leave for the safari has come and the people were not yet available. So he told me you leave for the safari and i stay here for you till they come and check your things. But the woman on the desk were not accepting the money before that people say ok and that i can send it. So i gave the money to Mr. Wilson. It was 170 dollars in shiiling money (18.000 kenyan shiilings) and the box was around 20 kilos. I already trusted Mr. Wilson so i gave him the money to pay when they check my box and send it and i left for the safari. I wanted to leave from Nairobi the same day i was coming back from the safari thats why i wanted to do it that day. When they check the box after three hours that Mr. Wilson was waiting, for some reasons they didnt let him send it. So he took the box with a taxi koz it was heavy and went to his office. He inform me at my whatsapp about that. When i came back from the incredible safari he gave me the package and ALL the money inside a nice envelope. He didnt even use from that money even for the taxi he took. I offered him some but he didnt accepted. Of course i left some at his desk, he did so much for me, i took the box went to the post office it was almost the closing time but i manage to send it and i left for the next destination. The least i can do for Mr. Wilson is that comment so i can let other travelers know how good tour operator he is and how HONEST. I have also keep his envelop as a souvenir to remind me that sometimes you can trust people even if you know them for some minutes. Thank you very much for everything Mr. Wilson.

5 day Tailor made Tour ~ Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara & Lake Naivasha
Family safari early March which was customized to suit us as we wanted to stay in lodges which we had chosen online from reviews and photos.
This company gave us a very good pricing which was honest with no hidden extras - they were very upfront and transparent throughout the booking process.
Safari went well and we were looked after through the trip with their excellent guide/ driver Patrick ensuring we saw all the animals in the wild.
We all left happy !

Discover wild and friendly Africa in an unforgetable way
The whole trip was discussed in personal contact with Lucian and arranged taylor made. Starting at the beautiful Mayara Lake camp where you can taste the Tanzanian friendlyness in the middle of the African nature. From there we had a long tour including NGoro-NGoro, 2 days Serengeti, and Lake Natrong, which gave us an impresive good view on, one of the still unspoiled less cultivated Natural Environments in Africa. In the middle of the Serengeti we stayed overnight in a in a tent where you could hear the Rhino's and Lions walking around, eatin and 'socialising' in the dark. Because Tanzania is a friendly, safe and peacefull country, and the service is optimal too, the only thing we could do was enjoy our stay in real Nature :).

A memorable trip for lifetime
The guys from Kaara Adventures made our trip one of the best ever, from start to finish their communication was clear and the trip to see the gorillas in Bwindi and then the safari onto Queen Elizabeth was fantastic. The arrangement and origination of tour was great, tour guide was open and engaging and although the costs are quite high for charity workers or lower paid people like us, so would like to suggest to have some kind of other offers for such client, as it is a once in a lifetime to have a trip like this. I recommend to others as well, to make a plan and go see the gorillas with Kaara Adventures!

Awesome, fun and mind-blowing tour
I was so doubtful at first but they exceeded my expectations. They always remain keep in touch, and have very polite and warm staff both on and off the field. We travelled to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda and that was a wooow experience. They made us feel very comfortable and well taken of. They are also welcoming to any complaints, suggestions, recommendations that can better their services so that the client receives almost all of his satisfaction. All their services are smooth from bookings to payments to transportation to safety to accommodation. Bravo Kaara Adventures and Keep putting smiles on people's faces. I have been looking forward to our next tour.
