I have realised one of my dreams crossing Namibia on a horse and in a truly adventurous way!!
It was the adventure I was hoping it would be!Felt alive and free! Sky, stars, sand,dunes sun, horses, scorpions, dust, sweat and speed all dressed with laughter's, great food, superb organisation and lots of grit....considering my group happened to start under a very very...very much needed torrential rain storm!!! I will always remember that sense of belonging I developed with the horses and the place, for a few intense days we formed a big temporary family where horses and their humans were moving and breathing all together in this 350km ride!! It was all amazing and very real ...one very special moment that touched me and that I will always take with me was climbing up the Kuiseb with Clinton, we really did it together and I will never forget this horse...I could sense he was truly taking care of me and waiting for me ...protecting me in this tricky climb, as difficult as it was, as much as I was trying my best to give him manouvering space!Another highlight the stormy sunsets with rainbows and blood red skies whilst sipping a Savannah and handling my camera ..and the unforgettable gallops on Xerox, who so far, is the lightest and easier mare I rode at speed!! She loves speed!!Finally ....the "dearly beloved" crew!! Always there with a smile and advice if needed from wake up time to sleeping time always moving perfectly in sync and being the glue that stuck us together humans and horses for the whole distance and under every circumstance being it a rainstorm of the hottest day..thank you all guys hope to come back again soon!!!

Potential and Reliable Agent
I have been to Uganda in late April till early May with my friends for 6days.
I never thought about that its possible to make early bookings / early deposits in Uganda.
But these guys proved me wrong, and they were honest with every penny we sent in-advance in early January this year.
My Husband and I plus three more couples joined us to visit gorillas in Uganda, we booked with Gorilla Bookings and sent in our half-deposit early enough to secure trekking permits. Justus together with his team made our dreams come true.

They are very professional and design a great 2 weeks based on our requirements and budget. We covered South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Drivers/guides had great knowledge and communication skills. Hotels selected were comfortable and met our expectations as we asked for a 4 star package.

Fantastic Company
Uganda has been my dream country to Visit.
And these guys made it easy for me to book and they organized for us a fantastic group tour.

Trip of a lifetime!
From the first time I contacted Saso Uganda Safaris until the end of my trip with them, everything went incredibly smoothly.
I contacted many different tour operators when I decided to go to Uganda, and out of all the ones I contacted, Wilson was the quickest to respond, with the most specific cost and itinerary information.
He was flexible as I changed the trip around, and once we settled on an itinerary, all went quite smoothly. Vincent, our driver showed up right on time, and proceeded to navigate the roads of Uganda flawlessly through rain and shine and all in between.
He was quick to point out all wildlife and intriguing sights, and took care of us every step of the way with ease. The places that Saso picked for us to stay were fantastic, and a great match for who we were as travellers.
The activities were also well-selected, and adjusted for our taste, such as when we wanted to add trekking in the Kyambura gorge to see the Chimpanzees Would recommend them highly as a great choice, with very reasonable pricing.

Do not use this company even though it sounds a good price
Unable to provide a tour due to no cash flow ..avoid this company for now , not sure if they will recover from their debts but they owe us almost $3000. They also owe hotels and vehicle rental companies a lot of outstanding debt.

Excellent safari! 100% Ugandan owned and operated!
My self, partner and mother had an amazing experience with Gatatu safaris. We did a 9 day safari to see the gorillas, chimps, Queen Elizabeth national park, Murchison Falls and the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
All of the preplanning with Richard was professionally organised. He would always reply to emails as soon as possible and I was very impressed with the level of his service.
The safari itself was budget but there were touches of luxury thrown in there. It was super flexible and we were most impressed with our guide Steven. He was a great guide, a fantastic driver where we were made to feel safe and he took all feedback onboard quickly and professionally. He made sure the vehicle was tidied and washed every day which was a nice touch.
All of the accomodations and meal choices were great and Steven went above and beyond to make our trip special and to ensure we were happy at all times.
The only thing I could make improvements on if there could be a pair of binoculars in the vehicle for guests to use. But we will make sure we bring our own next time.
We were happy to put our payments into a company that is 100% Ugandan owed and operated. No part of our money was going to an overseas travel operator. I feel happy that we have supported a local operator and all of our funds have gone to suppliers owned and run in Uganda.
We hope to be back one day and we will tell our friends what an amazing company Gatatu is to see the Big 5 and much more with!

Excellent full day excursion
Thank you Across the Wild Tours and Safaris for making my Kenya/Tanzania trip wonderful and memorable encounter. I had booked this tour after in depth back and forth inquiries and settled on with Across the Wild Tours and Safaris,. it was a perfect idea I must say having had a full day of fun to Elephants center, giraffe center and Bomas of Kenya for cultural showdown and also mountain trekking in which was splendid in Tanzania Our driver was friendly and we felt well treated. Phiona and Roger gave us a very good service at a very reasonable price. They were courteous, punctual and well organized. The car was in a good condition. We will definitely use there services when we’ll have the chance to come back to Uganda.
