Every day was a day you will never forget in your live
5/5

On January 2014 we made a beautiful trip through Uganda. It was complete oganized by Grassrootz Adventures. In the beginning we didn't know what to expect. But the journey through Uganda was amazing. We went to several Nationale parcs, rafting, fishing. We saw the all the wild animals. Also the accomodations were clean and good to sleep. The hospitality of the people in Uganda is amazing. Grassrootz Adventure organized these trips from A til Z. Fantastis. On January 2017 we make a new trip trough Uganda with Grassrootz. I.am looking forward to. Sander we are ready for it.

Fantastic safari experience!!
5/5

We did a 5 day safari organised by Shemeji Safari & Tours and it was really a wonderful experience! We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro; all beautiful parks with different animals and nature. The tour was well organised with good accommodation (especially the luxury tents) and great food. We had a fantastic time with our guide Freddy who is easy going and very punctual and who showed us the big five. It was all so spectacular!! It's an experience we won't forget and which we can only recommend.

Great safari - excellent service
5/5

We had a 6 day tour with Classic Journeys in June 2016. We visited Naivasha and Masai Mara. Classic Journeys were great in organizing the trip, our expectations were met 100%, everything worked fine, time schedule was kept without delays and we didn't have any problems. We had a Toyota 4WD Minivan. It didn't look very impressive, and was quite old, but it was very effective and reliable, and tuned out to be a very good car for us. Our guide at the safari, Geoffrey, was a fantastic guide! We couldn't have got any better. He is knowledgeable, skilled and trustworthy. His English is excellent, and he is very service minded. He is also a very nice and kind person that is easy to get along with. In Nairobi Mathew was our guide, the same things can be said about him. He is a great manager, organizer and guide. Hotels/places on safari: Sopa Lodge in Naivasha was good. Great location, nice huts, good food and service. Base camp in Talek was excellent. Very nice tents, very good location and very good food and service. The best place we stayed during our whole stay in Kenya. We also saw lots of game there. Wilderness camp in Naboisho was also excellent when it comes to tents, location and food, but we were a bit disappointed about our guide there. We had a local guide, not from Classic Journeys. We didn't see as much game there as we had expected, and felt that our guide didn't work as hard as Geoffrey to make the most out of our stay. Still good though.
In Nairobi we stayed at The Nairobi Safari Club Hotel. It was also good, comfortable with great service and excellent breakfast. Traffic in Nairobi was much worse than we had expected, and obviously limits the possibilities. Fortunately we had a good guide (Mathew) who handled this very well. You should not try to do sightseeing in Nairobi on your own.
Classical Journeys in general: Very well organized and trustworthy. I will highly recommend them to others!

Wonderful trip through northern Uganda
4/5

We had a very beautiful trip through northern Uganda, provided by Grassrootz Adventures. With George as reliable driver and guide we have traveled quite some distance through the special landscape in the north. We stayed in nice, simple places. Grassrootz likes to support local communities by organizing nights in these local communities.
The bandas and rooms are basic but fine. The people were so helpful and caring for us! The food is cooked with love and we had to make do with what is locally available. And that's fine. Very occasionally we also enjoyed a (quite a lot) more luxurious setting, that was also received as a huge gift!
The tour (Kampala - Moroto - Kotido - Kidepo Valley National Park - Murchison Falls National Park - Fort Portal) was superb and highly recommended!

a well organised Kilimanjaro experience, with outstanding guides and a great team of porters
4/5

the communication about the various options was good, and the service received from all ( from the pick up at the airport, the drivers and especially the guides and porters) was great !
we did change the itinerary , in the last 2 days of the "Whiskey route", to suit our pace and needs, and the guides were very supportive. A special thank you note goes to Jerome for having taken us to see a doctor in Moshi, on our return, and still making it in time to the Kili airport !

Great experience and highly recommend
5/5

If you are looking for a great experience with Safari in Tanzania, BestDay Safari is a great option! It was my first Safari and I had no clue in what to take, what to expect, etc...and Peter was very helpful all the time, answering the emails and giving all the best tips! The Safari was amazing! We saw plenty of animals, lion huntig, babies with their moms and all the Big Five in Serengueti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire! The lodges were very good, as well as the meals! I highly recommend BestDay Safari and hope you have a great experience!

Great Masai Mara camping safari with good service!
4/5

We went for a safari from Nairobi to Masai Mara for three days.

The safari was great. Our guide really did the best he can to show us all the different animals. It would have been nice if he showed a bit more initiative by telling about the area and animals. But if we did ask ourselfs, he could tell us a lot. He was available and around any time if we needed him.

The camping place was very nice. A beautiful spot, big tent, real bed, even a hot shower. Also the food was nice.

If we wanted to extend our safari, it was possible anytime to arrange this.

Before and after the safari we had a free pick up and drop off from the hotel. Unfortenatly the didn't tell us we had to pay extra for the drop off, because the hotel was to far.

The staff from the tour operators where very friendly and helpfull. While meeting one off the guys before me made a booking, we did find him a bit pushy to make business.

Overall we reccomend to book here!
