Best Experience Ever
Booking the safari with African Safari Vision was one of the best experience I ever had. I did 3 days of Safari in Amboseli and Tsavo East. The landscapes are incredible and I am happy to have seen both parks as the landscape varies a lot between these parks. We could see many animals: leopards, lions, hippos, giraffes, buffalos, ienas, zebras, babbuins, elephants, chittas, ostriches and so on. In Amboseli we could also see a leopard eating his prey at only 20m far from us, it was amazing. I accommodated in a lodge, both in Ambsoeli and in Tsavo East, they were very nice and cosy...the service was excellent and very well organized. All the meals were included and the food was tasty and you could eat as much as you want as there was the free buffet. Our drive was always explaining us all animal species we were meeting and he was always very kind, smily and open to explain and providing helpful information and tips regarding my trip in Kenya. I do really recommend such experience to everyone. Thanks Safari Vision, you will always be a precious memory of my life.

The trip to Namibia was our best holiday ever!
Simon at Native Escapes recommended a fantastic itinerary for our trip to Jo'burg and Namibia. The trip exceeded all our expectations and we would highly recommend it to everyone. We had a one night stop over at the Africa Rock Hotel in Jo'burg which was so welcoming and friendly and when we returned from our trip to Namibia they couldn't do enough for us. Simon arranged a great 5h tour of Jo'burg which gave us a real overview of the city. Our trip to Namibia was very well organised and our guide, Will, was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about the birds, wildlife and Namibia in general. All aspects of the trip were very well organised and the lodges very welcoming and friendly and all very different. Every day of the trip brought new and exciting adventures, from climbing up a huge sand dune at sunrise, walking through a deep canyon, seeing whales, penguins and dolphins on a boat trip in Walvis Bay, quad biking in the sand dunes near Swakopmund, seeing the rock paintings at Twyfelfontein, visiting a Himba village, seeing the desert adapted elephants, seeing the wildlife in Etosha National Park and finally visiting Afri Cat conservation project for big cats.

Worth every penny!
Tried Felann after reference from a customer.. can't say fantastic enough. The service was extremely personalized, everything was taken care of and best of all loved the follow through on the little details. Please keep this as you grow, you will go places! Mombasa was a whole new experience thanks to you!

Excellent service; complete value for the price charged
Rose and David were exceptionally good ; we have no complaints. The tour is excellent for budget travelers; hotels are good for the price offered. David is excellent at spotting animals and tells a lot of details about each of them. Recommend them for everyone who wishes to explore masai mara without a huge dent in their wallets.

Our experience was tremendous, we saw more animals and beautiful scenery than I ever expected.
Our guide David was excellent in all areas -- finding animals, knowing all about them, knowing their behavior -- and overall took such good care of us. He communicated well, let us guide our schedule to a certain degree and showed us his country in such a wonderful way. Everything met our expectations -- lodging was very good and a variety of camps and lodges. Food was very adequate. We felt safe during the entire time. Before leaving we had email communications that were adequate to answer a few questions. It was a great trip!

Once in a lifetime experience!
Everything was perfectly arranged!
A week or two before our trip, we've received a very nice self-drive package including a TomTom, mobile phone and a lovely photo book with lots of useful information about our trip including accommodations, tips for restaurants, things to do, GPS coordinates etc.
We had an amazing self-drive trip through South-Africa and Swaziland. We went for four weeks to Cape Town, St Lucia, Mkuze, Manyoni Private Game Reserve, Rocktail Bay, Kosi Bay and Tembe Elephant Park.
Mavela Game Lodge was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The tents, the relax atmosphere, the incredible beautiful lodge and our guide Andrew made this stay one of the highlights of our trip. We have spotted here the Big 4+: lions, elephants, black/ white rhinos, buffalos and cheetahs! Amazing to hear lions roaring while you are trying to get some sleep in a luxury tent.
Rocktail Beach Camp was also an amazing lodge. We had the most amazing view from our luxury tent: we could see humpback whales jumping in the ocean, wow!
Don’t hesitate, just book! It’s definitely worth it! :-)

Bait and switch by open africa
I was sold a trip with upgraded accommodations, then placed on a budget trip. First i was told the places we were staying were equivalent to my promised itinerary ( which i had luckily printed and brought with me). When i was able to go to the websites of places I’d paid for, and could see how untrue that was, i asked to be ensured i would be at paid spots going forward, i was then told that one place full the night i should be there and another having robberies. Both disputed by those places when i did go there, and patently untrue ( full site only half full when i there on planned night; no signs of repaired tents at place “ with robberies)
It was really unpleasant to have to argue, A Lot, while being repeatedly told lies, in order to get mt paid acccommodations for last two nights of six. When i contacted open africa on return, to request some refund for the two nights i was seriously downgraded, i was told by open africa’s john william that the leader of the tour group i was subcontracted to ( i saw the paperwork that our group used to enter the Serengeti, name was not open africa) that I had said i was happy with my trip , and then never heard from John again, despite contacting him.
So, buyer beware, Tanzania is fantastic, this tour operator not so much

8 day Kilimanjaro and 10 day safari
Fantastic experience. They coordinated both my solo trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route as well as a 10 day group safari afterwards. Aurelie and Ben were responsive via email with answering questions prior to the trip and made some very valuable recommendations that made the trip even better.
The support crew for the successful trek, led by the guide Ignas, did a great job and I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone was very friendly, supportive and hard working.
For the safari our guide David was amazing. We started calling him the animal whisperer as he seemed to know where the animals were going to go before they did. He always seemed to know exactly where to drive or park the vehicle to get the best view of the animals.

Three day-two night safari, lots of animals and driving
Really great tour of Maasai Mara, saw all big 5 animals and lots more. Lots and lots and lots of driving on bumpy roads at high speed. Took a toll on the body and was difficult to sit all day. Driver was excellent for finding animals but did not tell us much about the animals. Very friendly on the wallet.
