Our entire experience with Gosheni Safaris was wonderful. From our initial outreach with Peter to the ongoing attentiveness of Pendo to the amazing safari with our guide, William, we have absolutely nothing but great things to say. From the time we were picked up at the airport to the time we were dropped off, we were in very capable hands, and each day was better then the day before. William did everything he could to make the trip memorable, and for a group of five people of different ages and experiences, this was no easy feat. When talking about our favorite moments from our 8-day trip, one member of our group even said that her time with William was a highlight. Anne organized a trip to Gombe for my wife Leonie and her friend Julia in February 2021. They returned absolutely enchanted by the experience. In June my parents came from Germany to visit us. Very well organized, service oriented and reliable.
It started of with the superb organization: Anne was very responsive and flexible to accommodate our ideas and wishes. She was a great resource in helping us put together our trip to Gombe. Everything was well organized: From the airport transfers to the boat ride to the lodges. Anne organized that Sixtus guided us through Gombe. Having studied the Chimps there and in Mahale for nearly 20 years he is very knowledgable. We learned a lot about the Chimps, their habitat, and Jane Goodall's work. Not only did we have several encounters with the Chimps. We also enjoyed speaking to researchers at the Jane Goodall institute and learning about their work. Overall we spent two nights at Gombe and went on Chimp-Tracking three times. We cherish the memories!
