Hiking in Morogoro
5/5

Spent a long weekend in Morogoro with a few friends to go hiking in the Uluguru Mountains. Edward (Ndakie) took care of all the planning -- transportation, lodging, hiking guide, etc. We told Edward our budget and he arranged accommodations accordingly. The hotel where we stayed (Hotel Oasis) had delicious dinner and free breakfast. It was so nice to not have to worry about logistics! Our hiking guide was fun and helpful as well. On the first day we hiked to Morningside, and on the second day we hiked to a gorgeous waterfall where we stopped for a refreshing swim. Edward was extremely helpful arranging private transportation back to Dar es Salaam when one of our group was feeling ill. Highly recommend using Safari Partners if taking a hiking trip to Morogoro.

Tanzania Safari and Mafia Island
5/5

I spoke to a few different agents, but Tom @ Wayfairer seemed the most knowledgeable and understood what it was we were looking for. The safari in Tanzania did not disappoint, and we felt properly immersed in the wildlife, and managed to get very close. The break of Mafia Island was very relaxing after, however, there isnt a lot to do outside the lodge in Mafia, its very under developed, but at the same time, the sea air, and the relaxed vibe to the place means that you're never really up for partying anyhow. The staff were excellent everywhere we went. In a nutshell, Tom delivered on everything that we asked for. We wanted an outdoor safair experience and got that, we wanted relaxation and luxury and got that too. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these guys!

Safari Online made our fantastic family holiday dream come true!!
5/5

As a family of 13, ranging in age from 8 to 68 years of age, we could never have imagined anything more perfect. We started communicating with Walter Kohrs over a year ago and he put an exciting package together to suit every member of our family. A last minute hiccup with our transport caused us a little concern but Walter sorted it out in a blink of an eye. We were back on track and on our way to Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge, Leopard Mountain Safari Lodge, Amakhosi and then Thonga Beach. Each one was unique. Our favourite was definitely Leopard Mountain Lodge. We were amazed at the amount of game we saw, the delicious food we ate, the fabulous contact we had with local communities, the knowledge of all our guides and the memories our family made together.
Safari Online have been nothing but professional and incredible from the time we made our first enquiry to the last day of our stunning holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for Walter. We are now starting to plan our next family Safari for 2019. Guess who we will be booking with??? Safari Online we hope you are ready!!!!!

Amazing and efficient.
5/5

We contacted Off2Africa just a few days before we wanted to travel. They had less than a week to arrange flights, transfers, accommodation and experiences for two people on a tight budget. No problem they said.
Flight 1 done. Straight out of the airport to smiling driver waiting for us. First hotel was Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Wow. Stunning accommodation. The views were to die for. The food was heavenly. We got to see the Victoria Falls, Boma Restaurant and we went into town to the market, an experience not to be missed. From there we were transported to Botswana as due to the rains game viewing in Zimbabwe was poor. Another amazing hotel. Chobe Safari Lodge. Here a game drive was organised. We were lucky enough to see Lions as well as loads of other game. The hotel room was gorgeous. River front and lots of animals to see from the room. The luxury we experienced was beyond our imagination. Finally we headed back to Zambia for an overnight stay to be ready for our short flight back to Cape Town. Here the company showed their sense of humour. After two luxurious stays on the trip we were staying in a tent. I was not impressed. Until I opened the door. Inside a four poster bed a beautiful bathroom just another example of luxury. We sat by the river relaxing and watching the hippos just feet away. The animal experience didn't stop there. The outdoor shower at 6am with a beautiful gheko was a highlight for me. Finally we were transported to the airport and flew back to our final three days in Cape Town before our return to the UK.
I cannot recommend Off2Africa more highly. They managed to organise everything in less than a week. They kept to our budget. Most importantly we could contact them night and day at anytime and whenever you spoke to them they were cheerful as well as being efficient.
If you are looking for a company to organise your trip don't hesitate use Off2Africa.

My experience with Axis Africa Safaris to Mara National reserve was awesome.
5/5

Communication was very effective i.e there were no delays of any kind.Their services were incredible from pick up at my preferred point in Nairobi town, the stops for our day meals were up to my expectation and the tented camps were spectacular. The game drives surpassed my expectations,Richard our driver/guide was very conversant with the animals and the reserve itself so we able to see and learn about every animal in the reserve.

Exhausting but really special and once in a lifetime.
4/5

It was all what I expected and even more. It was one of the most beautiful experience of my life. Although, we had to hurry a bit at the last part. Maybe that was a little annoying.

5/5

I've been using Zambezi Travel for a number of years and each time Liz and the team have not disappointed!

This most recent experience was for a small group of 7 of us coming literally from all corners of the globe. From the very first request the responses were efficient and timely and suited for exactly what I was looking for. Accommodation, connections and everything in between was flawless.

No matter what you're looking for - First trip to seasoned traveler, these guys know their stuff!

An absolute pleasure to deal with
5/5

Me and my wife we just spent an incredible week on safari in Kenya I would like to give special mention to Justus and his entire Mianzini Tours and Safaris team. It was my first time visiting Kenya so I was a little apprehensive before hand, this was unnecessary as Justus had every detail covered. I would highly recommend Kenya for an unforgettable experience.
We saw all the animals and birds that one hopes for when they go on safari but Kenya has much more than animals. The landscapes are breath taking and the people are a joy to meet.

Mianzini Tours & Safaris was willing to customize our trip in most any way, from budget to mid-range to luxury, from a few days to many days, from safari only to inclusion of a side trip to the beaches of Mombasa. We were not up for a “budget” trip – sleeping in tents and sleeping bags was ok when we were younger, but we want nice, clean beds now. Luxury trips seem horribly overpriced to me – you can spend thousands of extra dollars for what I think would be marginally better lodging, and maybe pampered hot lunches with beer and wine – not at all worth it in my opinion. The mid-range trip suggested to us seemed just right, with my exact desired itinerary, and the price was great, compared to many others I had checked.

exchanged about 20 emails with our contact at Mianzini Tours & Safaris (Justus). I asked MANY questions, asked for references, questioned just about everything I could think of. He responded timely (not immediately, but always in a very reasonable amount of time), politely and patiently. But in the end, I still had to trust a fairly small company to deliver on their promises. A deposit was needed, and full payment was required about 30 days before our adventure. Would they deliver? Could this be a scam? I continued to be nervous literally until I was met at the airport after getting off the plane in Nairobi Kenya. But they were there just as promised, and everything went great for the next 6 days, all the way through taking us to the airport to leave!

The lodging choices they selected for us were wonderful! The hotel in Nairobi City was older and not in perfect repair, but it was still clean, with good and very tasty dinner options, a nice pool, pretty grounds – and this was the “worst” of our lodging. The other places we stayed were wonderful, including the luxury “tented camp” in the middle of Masai Mara, which was a marvelous experience! All the facilities were clean, available showers ranged from good to great, there was wifi available in all places (ok, not high speed but who cares?), and we were always able to charge our electronics. The dinners were definitely better than I expected, and wine and beer were available for purchase if desired. We had available hot breakfast options each day. The lodging staffs were always very attentive. We felt safe everywhere. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more.

Our tour guide, Alex , was excellent! His heavily accented English was still quite good, and he did a great job navigating the parks to give us the best possible animal viewing. Animals were very plentiful to see, and we had close up encounters with many – lions, elephants, giraffes, cape buffalo, and more. The only Big 5 animal we didn’t see up close (and I mean very close) was a rhino, of which we only saw one, and that was at a distance…oh well. Alex had binoculars available to use, which was quite nice. The box lunches while on game drives were plenty adequate (generally chicken, fruit, bread, a cookie or two, juice, water) though not fantastic.

All in all, the trip was everything I could have hoped for, and Mianzini Tours & Safaris was just great! Many thanks to them for making this “bucket list” trip a major success!
