Best cook best Guide!!
May I start by saving that this our 4th safari but fist to Kenya and I can not recommend this company enough. We were met at the airport by cheerful helpful Zippy who dropped us off to our Nairobi hotel. We spent a week being looked after by Daniel and Nelson. Daniel was a fantastic cook who took care of my gluten intolerance. Nelson could answer any question. Knew every bird and animal. Honestly can't recommend this firm enough and would use them again. Thank u so much!!!!

Highlight of our holiday
From start to finish everything was perfectly organised. We booked with short notice for the 3 day Queen Elizabeth Safari tour but correspondence with Ken was always swift and he answered any queries fully. Our driver Moses was exceptional, going well above his responsibilities as a driver and truly caring and making sure we had the best time possible as well as being informative about Uganda during the drive to and from. Our Safari guide Innocent was great and had a vast knowledge of the local fauna and flora. The Engiri lodge was stunning, right in the heart of the Savannah but still serving up some of the best food we had all trip and the staff were always friendly. Amongst the Safari we went on a boat tour of Lake George and chimpanzee tracking which added another dimension to the trip and were both very well organised. We both felt that we covered a week's work in the 3 days. Great value for money - Couldn't recommend it highly enough!!

Great local trek
Great trek through the local village then took a meanering trail up the hillside to a beautiful view point overlooking the valley. Only other people on the trail were local villagers and no other tourists. Very good knowledge of plants, birds and wildlife. Off the beaten track but with easy access making the trek not too arduous. Would highly recommend.

3 Day Tour of Lions Valley and Zulu Battlefields
We did a Day Tour with Tim a few years ago and because of his excellent service we decided to use Tim for our 3 Day Safari from Durban with friends. We left the Amsterdam World Cruise and flew from Maputo to Durban. Tim arranged our transfer to the Protea Hotel and picked up our Group of 6 at 7:30 am for our Transfer to Lions Valley Lodge outside Ladysmith. Since we also wanted to visit the Anglo-Zulu Battle Fields near Ladysmith, Tim strongly recommended Lions Valley Lodge. He was correct!! This Lodge is excellent and they accommodated our leaving the Lodge after a morning Game Drive and before the evening Drive so Tim could take us to see Rorke's Drift Battlefield. Tim arranged for a Historical Guide Specialist for this Tour. Tim also arranged for an excellent Game Driver at Lions Valley. After our Safari Tim drove us to the Durban Airport with plenty of time for our BA flight to Cape Town so we could rejoin our Amsterdam World Cruise. We highly recommend Tim for excellent Tours in South Africa! We have done over 6 Safaris and Tim is not only an excellent Safari Guide, he is an exceptional value with service as good as the A&K Safaris we have taken!
