My wife and I planned a long Safari with Opulent Tours and Travel. The staff was very helpful and patient as we made out plans. We had made 2 substantial down payments towards our trip when Corona Virus hit and our country issued a ban on citizens from entering South Africa. Following the travel prohibition, we immediately informed Opulent Tours and Travel and filled out their official cancelation and refund documents. I would like to point out that the cancelation was well within the criteria and time frame for a full refund.
The company replied that returning the money will take some time and I need to be patient. It is only at this point and after re-reading the terms and conditions, that I noticed that while my payment timetable is very clear, there is no defenition of the time frame in which Opulent Tours and Travel is committed to returning the money on cancelation.
Two months have gone by since my original cancelation, and as of yet, we have not received any refunds. While I appreciate the challenges of the times, it seems disproportionate to have us pay almost half a year in advance but then not have any commitment on the timeframe for the refund policy.

Very good service provided!
I went to Lake Bunyonyi and Bwindi for Gorilla Trekking last weekend of June 2021. Sam was extremely kind and attentive all the time, carefully planning every little detail so everything went good, especially taking into account that my decision was 3 days before the trip. He checked in regularly to see that things went smoothly. The hotel and lodge I went were of very good quality. The guide was really nice too, we had minor communication problems that I discussed with Sam, but nothing too bad and something that I suggested to him for future improvement. Overall, I really recommend Katsam Adventures! It's definitely very good value for money!

Breathtaking and perfectly organised Safari
We did a 5 day Safari trip and were lucky to see so many beautiful animals. We got picked up at the airport and dropped off at our hotel in Arusha (Tulia hotel and spa) where Bryson from Safari Soles awaited us to explain the coming days and to ask if we had special wishes. The next morning we were picked up by our driver/guide Isaac who stayed with us the next 5 days.
We were very lucky with Isaac as he knows the national parks by heart and always found the animals we wanted to see. Next to being a good driver he has a lot to tell about the animals, the plants and the culture in general.
First day we went to Tarangire Parc were we saw most animals, although in small numbers, and hundreds of baobab trees. At night we slept in the beautiful Farm of Dreams Lodge where we were awaited by the typical singing welcome committee.
The next three days we spent in the Serengeti where we slept in Mblagati Tented camps (beautiful lodges) and Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp (comfortable tented lodges). As both locations are situated in the Serengeti you really sleep in the midst of wild animals while guards keep you safe so you can sleep in peace. In the Serengeti we saw thousands of wildebeests, antilopes and zebras, giraffes, elephants, lion prides, leopards and cheetahs and so many more beautiful animals at every second of the day.
The last day we stayed at Serena Lodge which has a breathtaking view on the Ngorongoro crater before going out there on our fifth day. Here we finally saw the black rhino which made our big five complete. In the late afternoon we went back to Arusha.
During the Safari we took every morning fresh hot food with us so we could have an amazing and incredible delicious picnic. Dinner and breakfast were evenly tasty and safe for our European stomachs.
Maybe 5 days is too much for some people, but we truly enjoyed every second of it.

Amazing Safari Tour Operator!
We had an absolutely amazing „luxury safari“ with RajaTours! We have been to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara (7 days).
Our amazing guide Bashir was reliable, knowledgeable and found so many animals we would have never recognized. That was absolutely incredible! Apart from that he even saved a car (with passengers) from another company… their driver had forgotten to fix the handbrake properly. The luxury accommodations were stunning places and the food was delicious! The communication with the company was easy and quick all the time.

A great and much appreciated authentic expereince
You may get more luxurious safari options, and most definitely you will get more expensive ones, but for pure soul and having a great authentic experience you wont get better than extremely wild and their most excellent crew. Isa is also one of the most experienced and knowledgeable guides in Botswana

James is the best guide!
Many thanks to our guide James! All days James was very empathetic and attentive to us. And most importantly, James knows the savannah and national parks as well as possible! Namely, the success of your safari depends on this. In 4 days, we completely closed the big African five, and also saw hundreds of other animals and birds. James was very cheerful and sociable. Solid five! Only thanks to him, we will remember this for many years.

Excellent planner
I had the best experience in Kenya while visiting Nairobi, Mombasa, and Masai Mara. This was made easy and possible by Bonefire Adventures team lead by James. I have not been to Kenya for many years which was going to be very tricky for me. I approached Simon Kabu who I only follow on IG. Simon directed me to James who planned my whole trip from transfer from the airport upon arrival in Kenya. James did not go to bed until we arrived and yet it was very late. He made sure we met our driver, and we were safely at our Hotel.
When I decided to visit Kenya with my children, I did not know where to start all I knew I wanted to go to Mombasa and Safari. I gave this information to James who planned for everything for me. He came back with a very reasonable figure $$ that was very affordable to me. He planned for Mombasa and means to get there as I requested, flights to Mara and transfers and the hotel in Nairobi and transfers to the airport. He coordinated all my transportation with the drivers Cosmos, Harrison, Joshua and David (the tour guide). All these drivers never disappointed. They kept time each time. They were very friendly, courteous, very neat and respectful.
The workers owned the company they represented the brand with utmost pride.
I’ll recommend this company anytime any day to everyone. Their prices are super friendly, worth every penny, the customer service is top notch, very reliable and so knowledgeable in their area of expertise.
