Perfect 5 Day Kenyan Safari
From the very first communication with Anne, Amazing Memories was very responsive, flexible, and understood exactly what we were looking for. Anne was extremely patient with our numerous requests to modify the itinerary in different ways, our dietary restrictions, and a ton of other questions we had about payment and other things.
Our driver and guide, Kennedy, was super friendly, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to be around (which is crucial if you are going to spend multiple days together like we did). He suggested various tweaks to the schedule as we progressed based on circumstance, and all were on point and appreciated. The lodges where we stayed were excellent - we spent one night in the Flamingo Hill tented camp at Lake Nakuru and then 3 nights at Mara Sopa lodge near Masai Mara. Both were very upscale accommodations, with great food and helpful staff, and well integrated into the surroundings. Our game drives were exciting and we saw an endless stream of wildlife, punctuated by an early morning hot air balloon ride to observe the Great Migration from above. We were completely satisfied by Amazing Memories and would recommend them to anyone visiting East Africa.

Two-week wonderful trip in Kenya
Contacting with several operators for this safari, the price Aardwolf offered was not the best one (with the same level hotels/lodges/tents). I selected this operator because the communication was efficient and Esther provided me some useful information such as transportation. However, I was a little disappointed on the selection of the accommodation except those we requested, as some of them were unknown and few people visited. For example, the Soi Lodge near the Lake Baringo was selected for us, which is far away from both our destinations of Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria. The only reason is of high profit I guess. But you know, the most important thing to do safari is not the money but the guide/driver. We should thank Aardwolf to give us a great driver, Mr. John Kabuga. We were so lucky to have John with us, who is professional, experienced and qualified. He was born in Kenya but has blue eyes, which makes him special and gives him a good vision like Masai people. He is good at finding animals and told us a lot of stories about Kenya. In a conclusion, this trip was not executed in perfect detail but what we experienced makes it unforgettable on both good and bad points. A good driver will leave you a better memory.
All aspects of our dealings with Martz Safaris were good. We found them friendly and helpful.
My brother and I were on a self drive trip through Rwanda and up into Uganda. Unexpectedly, we had to hand back our Rwandan vehicle at the border. At late notice, Martz Safaris drove down from Kampala to meet us at the border with another vehicle. We were then able to continue our trip through Uganda. For the next eight days the vehicle performed well and gave us no cause for concern. Without their prompt service and help, our trip through Uganda could well have been a very different story

Simply perfect - southern Tanzania
We visited many countries in Africa and were in northern Tanzania 13 years ago. This safari was simply great and so it was obvious to us to explore southern Tanzania as well, followed by a few days on Zanzibar.
The planning of this tour with Roho Ya Chui was highly professional and always a pleasure, as a lot of experience and valuable information from Ute Sonnenberg have designed our safari perfectly.
The southern circuit of Tanzania was beautiful and perfectly organized by Roho Ya Chui – it doesn’t get any better, summa cum laude! If you want to see the South: Dar es Salaam is not an African gem but still worth a glance. From Dar SAL (Safari Air Link) flies with Cessna 208 to Mikumi, Ruaha and Selous.
All three parks are absolutely worth seeing but different, you stay comfortable in best furnished Lodges of Fox Group. Ruaha, however, was our surprise: an extraordinary national park, quite different from many others, which we have already visited. Many elephants, hippos, impalas, lions... all in front of grandiose scenery. We will certainly return to this amazing place. If you are looking for a small and quiet top hotel on Zanzibar – we recommend to ask Ute Sonnenberg also.
Our next trips to Africa we will plan with Roho Ya Chui again! Thanks again and see you soon.

Great Kenya safari
African wildbreaks safaris is the best to me being a local tourist I can tell what is best. Our Masai Mara tour was made memorable with the help of Charles. I highly recommend.
We had a great safari and really enjoyed our 6 day trip
Our Safari was a once in a lifetime experience! We hat 6 wonderful days together with a nice Group, a very friendly cook and an awesome Driver (Shabani!). The communication with John before, during and after the Safari was always perfect. We can only recommend this great experience to everyone. The only negative Points were the bit older tents & sleeping bags, our Toyota Landcruiser was good but I guess it had some engine Problems (was very weak uphill).

Honeymoon safari in Tanzania and Zanzibar
We used Paul to book our honeymoon.
Having never been on safari before, and prior to speaking with Paul, we were a little overwhelmed with the prospect of booking our first trip to Africa. Paul was very patient with our queries and took time to understand our requirements. He responded quickly and personally, taking time to understand our budget and where he could best add value to our trip before providing a tailored itinerary. We visited two parks (Selous & Ruaha) followed by some R&R in Zanzibar.
Pre-travel advice was great, but it wasn’t until we landed in Dar Es Salaam and subsequent transfers where we truly appreciated the Paul’s efforts. The transfers and background logistics were seamless. Having experienced local customs, taxis, internal flights, etc. first hand we were so glad that Paul stepped in to arrange for us – we would have been naive to think we could have arranged on our own.
Moving on to the safaris, Paul booked us into the most incredible camps. The experience far exceeded our expectations and it was clear that the camp managers personally knew and respected Paul.
Paul personally guided us during our stay in Ruaha. He was exceptionally knowledgeable of local wildlife (as would be expected), but mixed in a good sense of humour made the game drives great fun. Paul was also well integrated with the other local guides so we were never to miss out if another guide stumbled across a viewing somewhere else in the park.
The gushing sentiments sound like the introduction for an internet dating profile, but we couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon and I would (and will be) wholeheartedly recommend(ing) Paul to anyone who is looking to book a safari.

I've wanted to go to South Africa since I was 12.
Planning our Southern Africa trip with Darren was so much fun. He answered my millions of questions quickly. He even answered some of them multiple times and answered the dumb ones like they weren't dumb. I'd wanted to go to South Africa for 53 years and this trip did not disappoint. The guides and drivers that assisted us along the way were efficient and knowledgeable. They were fun to have join our travel group. We were always met cheerfully on time at the airport or our hotel. In Cape Town, we were able to adjust our schedules to watch whales, drive through neighborhoods and spend extra time in places we loved. Our guide, Garth, was amazing. The accommodations selected were perfect. We especially enjoyed Tintagel and Senalala. Both were beautiful and had wonderful staffs. The Garden Lodge went out of its way to be helpful. We even got a special pitcher of ice tea when we mentioned we'd been missing it. The guides on our safaris at Senalala(guide Darren)and Garden Lodge(guide Tefo)made us feel like we'd just had the best safari they'd ever conducted. We saw the Big Five, had beautiful camera shots set up for us, learned so much and had so, so much fun. If you're planning a trip to Southern Africa, use Compass Odyssey they are magnificent and worth every penny. We've home a week and have looked at my pictures every morning. Truly it was the trip of a lifetime.
