We drove from cape town all along the coast to Namibia. As we left SA behind us trees and bushes slowly disappeared and made place for the vast desert of Namibia. Heading north the scenery changed back again as it became more green.
No matter the landscape you will find wildlife like Oryxes and Zebra’s everywhere.

Kruger Park Safari
5/5

Our safari experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Doug, was fantastic. He helped us set up activities that we would enjoy and woke us up in the morning to make sure we'd get to them on time. He was extremely knowledgeable about where, when, and how to look for animals while we were driving around the park. He even helped us find better accommodations in Johannesburg. He was friendly, courteous, and helpful in every way. Highly recommended!

Really nice experience, recommend it!
5/5

Travel For Change Africa was recommended to us by a friend who travelled with them in 2016. We did a ten day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. I must say we were impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by the company. Email response was really fast, and Patrick our Kenyan driver was very knowledgeable and fun. We learnt so much about the animals and the people of Kenya. The journey to Isebania border was a full day game drive. As a cautionary tale, clients should be careful when crossing from Kenya to Tanzania through the Isebania border because in our case the drive was very long and hectic and the roads were no good. Anyone who doesn't fancy long drives can request for a flight even though it's a little bit expensive. We did not have any extra money for a flight so we opted to go for the drive. The Travel for Change sales team advised us to either fly or spend a night in Lake Victora to reduce the driving distance but we were very eager to get to Tanzania so we did not agree to either of the two options. Our Tanzanian driver James was not only knowledgeable but also fun as well. In short, we tremendously enjoyed our stay in both countries and we couldn't have asked for more. Asanthe Travel for Change team for the wonderful experience.

Great People, Fantastic Service
5/5

Our Guides were wonderful and it was definitely an experience to remember. The people we met on the trip were fantastic as well! Also, they found a camera that we lost on the last day and arraigned for it to meet us in Johannesburg before we flew home. A beautiful time to in a beautiful place.

Tour Addo Elephant Park
5/5

Personal, professional and attentive to details, this tour orchestrated an amazing adventure! Went to Addo Elephant Parka while ago and it truly was terrific. Our tour guide Benji was amiable, very knowledgable, organised and humorous. I strongly recommend. Our trip was absolutely amazing and definitely ‘an experience of a lifetime’!

Holiday of a lifetime.
5/5

I have just enjoyed a wonderful safari holiday with my family and have nothing but praise for the company and staff.
We had an excellent guide and driver in James. When he promised leopards and lions etc., he delivered. Nothing was too much trouble. If he heard us say elephant or giraffe we immediately drove to find them.
We stayed in the lovely Sopa Lodge where the staff again were so kind. They baked a cake for my son's birthday and danced round the whole dining room to deliver it to the delight of all the guests.
I would encourage everyone to consider them when booking a safari holiday. You made my dreams come true.

Very good return on price, cheap and as good as the others
5/5

I went for a 3 days Tarangyre, Ngorongoro & Manyara with Arusha Expedition & Safari

Everything was perfect, I slept in a wonderful Lodge with view on Lake Manyara 2 nights. I was almost alone, and I paid only 806 €. Other agency were asking arround 1,200 €.

So, very good bargain, I recommend.

Amazing Safari - life long memories!
5/5

Our guide Eli, was amazing, kind and very patient. We´'re big phography fans (though amateurs), so he's patience for waiting 20' in the very same spot until we got the picture we wanted was a huge plus for us in our safari. The parks (Serengueti, Ngorogoro, and Tarangire) we visited and the lodges (Coffee Lodge, Tree Tops, the Manor and Pioneer Camp) we stayed at were astonishing and beyond our expectations.

It was no doubt the trip of a lifetime!

Great value and service on a budget
5/5

This was our first-ever safari in Tanzania (females, 60 and 35). We arranged a 4-day safari through the company starting at Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, Ngorogoro Crater and then added another day for a guided hike on Kilimanjaro.
We were originally going to join a group, but when we arrived they let us know that the other group had decided to start earlier, so we would have the safari experience and the guides to ourselves. This was a huge plus!
The guides were friendly and polite. Their primary language is Swahili and command of English varied but each spoke at least one other language fluently. Freddy, our driver and primary guide (fluent English), was great! He handled the roads like a pro (not always common in Africa). He loves the animals and knows a lot about them and the areas. Sante (basic English and fluent in French) was a whiz at identifying birds. They brought along animal and bird books so we could learn more if we desired. Godfrey (fluent English and Spanish) was our cook and the meals were delicious. There was a ton of food at every meal and each evening, a bottle of wine. The type of food was right for the trip, things that would fill you up and be easy on the tummy, and lots of fresh fruit.
The trip provides great value for the money. Airport transportation was included as well as our stay at Arusha Tourist Inn the night before and after the safari. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included during the safari. We expected to camp every night and were pleasantly surprised that the first night was spent in a small hotel along the way, right outside Lake Manyara (they are trying this out and hoping to offer it permanently soon). The hotels weren’t fancy but they were satisfactory, clean, free Wi-Fi and the staff at each place were helpful and gracious. At the hotel and at Ngorogoro campsite there is internet (slow, but free) which was a huge plus. Serengeti and Ngorogoro campsites are clean and well maintained (Ngorogoro had ample hot water for all the ladies but get an early start for the “best” shower stall) and you meet travelers from other safaris in the large, covered dining areas - all the companies use the same camping areas.
They provided all the camping supplies – pad, sleeping bag, and tent but make sure you bring your own bath towel, torch/flashlight and pillow. The guides made sure of our safety and that we knew what to do if we saw an animal in camp.
Our experience on the Kilimanjaro hike was equally great. Nico was our guide and made sure we had a great experience and our safety was paramount. He patiently navigated us through a treacherous, slippery descent to the Marangu waterfall. Lunch was provided and it was robust and tasty. We didn’t realize that past certain elevations it is more likely to rain and we didn’t have rain gear but between Nico was prepared with umbrellas.
The biggest highlight is how much this company cares about you having a positive experience. Gabriel briefed us before we left, and listened and asked questions upon our return about what they could do to improve the experience and quality. The guides were open and responsive to feedback. They have young guides, but the plus of this is they haven’t lost their enthusiasm or energy and really love the job. If you’re on a budget, this company is the way to go.
