10 Days Memorable Jungle Honeymoon Safaris
5/5

Our extraordinary honeymoon trip with our ecstatic guide Axel, kicked off with cutting a cake, very emotional yet, beautiful, my heart was already touched by the hospitality in Uganda; my wife on the other hand could not hold back but tired with joy.

Axel met us at our Hotel in Serena, journeyed to Murchison Falls national park, our accommodation Paraa Safari Luxury Lodge; comfortable with the best facilities. The morning game drive was a reward we were able to see the cheetahs, the ‘big five’ under the beautiful friendly morning sun. The evening boat cruise to the bottom of the great clouds of spray splash rainbows across the sky that makes magnificent viewing, as we watched the animals come to water. The top of the falls was such a breath taking experience, watching the water literary splash on us- very romantic view.

Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal, Ndali Safari Lodge; early morning went for chimp tracking, see various primates in the natural jungle. We had a cozy walk with my darling in Bigodi swamps where we saw rare birds. Queen Elizabeth national park, wow the concentration of wildlife coupled with the beauty of Mweya peninsula just fitting to our honeymoon… Praise God for what the nature here offers. The Mweya Safari Lodge with its facilities that include executive suites and a magnificent swimming pool make the hotel a target of honeymoon, evening game drive; the launch cruise on Kazinga Channel: rewarding. In the morning as we were leaving the park there was the spectacular site of the tree climbing lions resting on the trees.

The other activity that blew our minds was tracking which brought face to face with the gentle giant – the gorilla (Our friendly and knowledge guide told us it’s locally called so here) in Bwindi Forest National Gorilla Park- tremendously delightful!, our accommodation was in Gorilla Forest Resort Camp. Visit to the Batwa – the pygmy’s community’s walk; my mate encouraged me to get involved in the cultural dance, listening to their history and livelihood experiences. Axel our experienced guide drove us back to Kampala, leisurely, carrying the amazing imprint of the of the true jungle honey moon.

Charis Uganda Safaris is certainly that company that can make ones honeymoon or any other safaris that will leave memorable stories - thank you very much; we would recommend this company over and over.

Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls
5/5

I really loved this safari with Fleet Foot and we made good friends with Hennie, our guide. From the meeting at the airport to the end of the tour, everything was so wonderful. I enjoyed the food on the fire, the wild animals (so close to our camp area, it was very exciting), the open vehicles on the game drives, boat cruise on the Delta and the mokoros, walking in the wild together with a guide, visiting the Victoria Falls and all the unique experiences. The was never a moment to relax as we wanted to enjoy everything! After returning home, we already decided to go again. Now I am planning the next trip with them to go to Kilimanjaro.

Excellent prices & friendly customizable service!
5/5

Thank you OpentourAfrica for the lovely vacation & friendly service!
Planning & touring in Southern Africa used to be a daunting task for me & my relatives in Asia, due to many aspects like communications, dietary, the need to customize & other differences. Thanks to OpentourAfrica whom I can now completely rely on, even language barriers, an important issue for my relatives when it comes to planning & traveling, is now no longer an issue, considering how caring & thoughtful the staff of OpentourAfrica was, and how lovely the whole tour turned out to be.
I would recommend anybody, everybody, to give them a go!!

A truly superb bucket list experience that quietly leaves you a changed person
5/5

Brilliantly organised trip, with friendly and knowledgeable staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Food was of an incredible standard considering we were moving every day and camping in a different part of the desert every night. Fabulous, well trained, sure footed horses who were equally well looked after. If this is your sort of thing, I could not recommend this company more highly.

Tarangire and Ngorongoro safari in October
5/5

My wife and I did a two day safari in Tanzania, on 13. and 14. of October 2016. as part of our honeymoon trip, and experience was really great, even better than I expected it to be.

We booked the tour with Mojhi.com about one month in advance, and Mojhi team connected us with Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris for further arrangemens concerning pick up, drop off and some safari details. Every step of that process was very smooth and eficient.

I would especially emphasise the effort that Gabriel and the rest of the Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris team made for us to enjoy the safari. Our inbound flight to JRO airport on the morning of the beginning of safari was delayed, so the group we were supposed to join had to leave for Tarangire NP without us. Even so, Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris arranged a special driver to take us to Tarangire so we could join the group and catch up with afternoon game drive through the park. Also, the other day was apparently a national holiday in Tanzania, so there were some complications with making a deposit in a bank, needed in order to get into Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We managed to get in even so, and had a really great day there. After the end of Ngorongoro safari we had to get back to Arusha, while rest of the group was bound to Serengeti, so again they provided a special driver to take us back to Arusha. They did all of that without any additional charge.

We were also very satisfied with accomodation, both the tents in the safari camp in Mto wa Mbu and a hotel in Arusha. Everything essential was provided, meals were served as agreed, so we really had an opportunity to rest and relax properly in both locations.

Our guide was professional and trustworthy and made our game drives even more interesting by providing additional information about the wildlife in the region. He was also very open to make some plan adjustments according to our needs.

Overall, we had an unforgettable experience of safari in Tanzania, and I can fully recommend Foot Slopes Tours & Safaris for thieir friendly and personal approach in organising our wildlife adventure.

Thanks again guys!

An amazing customized tour with the BEST guides in South Africa
5/5

There aren't words to describe how wonderful our week with Elize and Johan was! We traveled as a family of four with our 9/12 year old kids through Kruger and the surrounding area. From the moment we began our journey, we felt like we were a part of the Flight of the Eagle family. They are so knowledgeable about not only the wildlife and vegetation, but about all of South African history and politics. We must have learned years worth of study in the week we were there. We went on another short safari in Chobe park the following week and my kids had learned so much, they knew more than some of the guides! We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and loved getting to know Elize and Johan. They are so genuine and put a tremendous effort into tailoring a trip that was perfectly suited for family travel. We already miss them dearly and can't wait to find a way back to South Africa.

Marvellous bush tour....
4/5

Me and my friend Sudhen Pai took the safari from Oct 2nd to 7th, 2016. I should confess that it was much more thrilling than what we had anticipated. Pamela and the driver, Daniel met us at our hotel in Nairobi and we proceeded to Masai. We had opted for budget accommodation at Mara sidai camp. Evening we visited Masai village and interacted with the tribesmen. Next whole day was the safari. We could see almost all the wild animals, including a feeding Cheetah, lions, hyena, elephant, hippos, giraffe s and off course thousands if not more of gazelles, wildebeest and zebras..being a keen bird watcher, I had seen many varieties , but then we couldn't spare much time for them..next day we covered Lake Naivasha and Nakuru. Its a paradise for bird watchers. Our last destination was samburu, where we stayed at the posh Samburu Sopa lodge. The resort was fantastic including the stay, bar and the restaurant. The safari at samburu was phenomenal in terms of birds and animals. We could see the reticulated girafe, grevy's zebra, guinea fowl, hornbills, lions, cheetah in hunting mode , leopards etc. We headed back to Nairobi and had a lunch at the famous Seven sea grills at ABC mall where we could meet the celebrity chef Kiran Jethwa. All the while, our driver Daniel was enthusiastic. Maybe, if u need bird watching, you should inform earlier to get a guide who is well versed with them . Pamela visited us again and asked us about the trip. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we didn't have any hiccups whatsoever during the whole trip. Would recommend Magical retreats to anyone. Happy safari !

Joyful, Powerful and Life Enhancing
5/5

Whilst there were a few finance/admin hiccups which proved to be very upsetting and challenging, the safari itself was amazing! 8 different lodges in 16 days. From Nairobi, Loita Plains, Loita Hilla, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Amboseli, Kilimanjaro, Tsavo West, Tsavo East, Mombasa, Back to Nairobi. Thousands of land miles were covered with complete awe and joy. Elephants, Lions, Wildebeest, Zebras, Buffalo, Rhino, Crocs, Girrafes, Leopards, Cheetahs, Gazelles and, and, and.... birds, the most amazing vegetation, landscape which went to infinity. All breathtaking. And the sky - wow! Day / Night - stars, moon, sunset, sunrise heart lifting.
The safari guides / drivers passionate and knowledgeable about their countries and their animals and land. Kirimi - safari guide/driver was so kind, thoughtful, caring and delighted in sharing his passion and knowledge. The safari lodges and hotels were extraordinary- with the exception of one - I would stay in all of them again. Maji Moto - the cultural eco camp has to be experienced.

When in Kenya and Tanzania - Kenan travel checked that I was okay and made sure that the safari was going well. I was collected on time from the airports and taken to all relevant glorious locations on time and stress free.

The whole experience has been life changing and life enhancing. An authentic adventure.
