It was really a great safari. I felt like all things i wished to see, i got it.. specially our guide Francis. We were in safe hands with him. Wheatever we asked him to do for us he was always there. He was also keen on letting us seeing all animals during our safari, which he achieved. Highly recommended..

A very complete safari, not only Masai Mara, but also Nakuru and Navaisha (for 30$ extra you take a boat around). We planned our trip the day before. Stephen was very communicative with the planning, speaks perfect English and was happy to answer any questions we had.

We were picked up from Moshi and brought to Arusha for the night, and Steve was kind enough to help us pick up some safari outfits as we wanted a laugh!
We stayed in very nice glamping tents and lodges during our stay, which we were very happy with.
Our recommendation is to skip the north Serengeti and spend more time in the central as you’ll see much more there and save a lot of time driving.

Because we didn't have a hand in planning it (our friend who invited us to join them did) we were a little nervous about all the opportunities for problems to arise (i.e., in the many transfers and handovers required to move from place to place, company to company, and country to country.) We needn't have worried one bit. Every step of the way the transfers were perfect; there was ALWAYS someone at the other end waiting for us. Every place we stayed was great; every adventure perfectly fitted to us. I would not change a single thing in our entire three week adventure. I write a kind of travel blog and have people follow all my trips. Every one was amazed at the things we did and saw, and many are wanting to follow our path and take this journey themselves. Professional, reliable, provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience
We had a great experience doing a 5 day safari in lodges and tented camps. Our guides were Lewis and George, and our chef was Tito. All of them were outstanding at their jobs. We learned a lot and felt well cared-for.
I traveled with my sister, and we had booked online about a month in advance with Cross to Africa Safaris. We suspect that we were the only ones signed up for our group-joining safari on those dates so traveled with Suricata instead. This meant that the itinerary differed very slightly from what we expected and that everyone else in our group actually did budget camping while we were taken to lodges each night. That being said, we were flexible and had an incredible time. Since Suricata had also not been the one to give us the initial itinerary, this made sense and was fine!
This was our first experience doing a safari, and we LOVED everything about it. We saw all of the Big 5 (including a rhino and her baby!), as well as other unique things like a lioness hunting a gazelle for breakfast! Our guides did an outstanding job of taking us to the best spots, teaching us, and stopping when we asked!
I would seriously consider returning for another safari because of how wonderful this was, and if I went back to Tanzania, I would gladly book with Suricata Safaris. I highly recommend this company!

Professional, responsive, and reliable
We booked our 5 day safari online about one month in advance. Communication was prompt and professional. Anthony answered all of our questions and had no problem planning airport transfer and first night of lodging for us, which was not initially included in the itinerary.
When we arrived, we were actually added to a group on Suricata Safaris instead of Cross to Africa... we suspect because we were the only ones requesting our specific type of safari for those dates. Suricata Safaris was an awesome company, and we had a fantastic experience with them. The only unfortunate thing was that we had booked lodges / tented camps while everyone else in our group was doing budget camping. This meant that we bonded with our group, only to be dropped off at a lodge and spend the night separate from everyone else each evening! There were also minor differences in the overall itinerary of the safari from what we had booked, but as we were flexible and everything we did was incredible, this was a non-issue.
Overall, we had an excellent experience with Cross to Africa Safaris, and I would recommend them.

We could even create our own itinerary and choose different lodging options - Stephen made it all happen even though we only booked 1 day in advance (!)
The company provided the perfect Safari vehicle with fridge, cold drinks and even WiFi in the car.
Especially the Safari experience in central Serengeti was absolutely amazing - I suggest everyone to spend as much time as possible in that area. Our guide had a lot of knowledge about all the animals and was happy to answer all our questions throughout the tour.
All accommodations provided were clean, comfortable and with good food service.
