Such a lovely 7 days
5/5

I wanted to see Masai Mara, Hell's Gate, and Amboseli and I found this item. I actually contacted several other agencies but Budget Holiday Safaris was most kind, so I decided to go with this.
Every day was so wonderful, each day had its own surprises, crews were nice, and group members were young and cheerful. (I am young and I was expecting people of my age) At the end at Amboseli, I almost disappointed, of course, you have already seen all the animals and nature on your previous 5 days, but on my last day sky was clear enough to see Mountain Kilimanjaro very clearly so I was satisfied.
Everything is as described, well.. wonderful driver/guide was not on description. Our guide 'Papa' made our trip even more great.
Hotels in Nakuru and Naivasha are really nice, although in Masai Mara and Amboseli it's difficult, of course it is budget range and it's campsite. If you are not up for tent accommodation, I think you can always ask for upgrade.
I definitely recommend Budget Holiday Safaris. Thank you Rose!

Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient Tour Operator
5/5

We have recently returned from a two week tailor made holiday organised by Susan Paterson Wait of Pembury Tours. Susan provided suggestions and options of accommodation during the various sectors of our holiday along with providing the necessary immigration and entry visa requirements to the various countries visited.
Subsequently all our accommodation, transfers and tours during our whole holiday were organised by Pembury Tours & all went like clockwork.

Our holiday initially comprised of three nights in Ilala Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and included a day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana.

From Victoria Falls we flew to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, and stayed one night at the wonderful Oliver's Restaurant & Lodge where we met by the manager Amanda who allocated us a wonderful spacious room. The friendly greeting from Amanda was extended to us by all the staff we met. The food in the Restaurant was amazing and was of excellent quality and value.

Our Holiday continued with a transfer and a 3 night stay at Arathusa Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands. We were given a freindly greeting by the always helpful reception staff and showed to our delightful lodge. Once again all the staff we met were so friendly, the food was really good, the bar had a decent selection and was good and the Safari Drives were excellent. Thanks to Sebastian our Ranger and Solley our tracker for giving us a wonderful wildlife experience with lots of stories, memories, photographs and appreciation for the beautiful wildlife. A big thanks also to all the staff at Arathusa.

The final leg of our holiday was a transfer, flight and then a 6 night stay at the Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town. What a wonderful hotel on the V&A waterfront and what a wonderful city. Lots to do in Cape Town and plenty of good quality dining restaurants for a relaxing meal or a quick bite to eat. The 6 days we visited, Cape Point, Robben Is., City Tour including history of S.A. & Cape Town, Table Mountain, Wine tasting tour to mention just a few. A great city to visit.

Finally we would highly recommend Pembury Tours and a special mention to Susan for arranging this holiday for us and having the patience with us. Thanks for providing such a memorable experience of Africa, the wildlife on Safari and the people we met at the Lodges, Hotels, Tour Guides and Transfer Drivers.

Sandra & Adrian.

Masai Mara 3 day (but only 2)
2/5

Simba Oryx lodge and Mara itself are superb. Bonfire are either dishonest or incompetent. We paid for three days safari but, on the third day, the driver just took us home. We also gave the driver park fees to cover the third day. We are following this up with the company so will update this site if we get a refund, apology etc.

Trip of a Lifetime!
5/5

Ute helped my friends and I plan our dream trip to Southern Africa - Victoria Falls, safari in Botswana, and Cape Town. The trip was exactly what we wanted and more! We stayed in lovely accommodations with the most incredible staff. We were made to feel like VIPs everywhere we stayed. The safari was amazing - we would never have thought we'd see as many animals or have the type of experience we did. We did several of the excursions in Cape Town and felt like we saw it all in a very short time. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

Ute was amazing and planned everything perfectly. We didn't experience any hiccups at all on the trip - all of our pickups occurred without problems, all the lodges were expecting us, and all of the excursions went off without a hitch. Ute went above and beyond to accommodate us when we decided to cancel one of our activities at the last minute. I would not hesitate to use Roho Ya Chui for a trip in the future.

Perfect from start to finish
5/5

From the moment we showed interest in booking our trip to the minute we were dropped off at the airport at the end of our amazing two weeks in Uganda, Matoke Tours were superb, dealing with everything via email in a highly efficient way. We did the 12-day Nature Only tour and Edwin was a brilliant, knowledgeable and considerate guide. The whole trip was exactly as described and fully lived up to expectations. We added a couple of extras and they were probably not necessary given the breadth of the tour's itinerary. It also reduced the 'down time' that would have allowed us to the opportunity to enjoy the facilities at a couple of the lodges. You have to be prepared for some long days on the road, as while some of the distances may not be huge, some of the holes in the road are!

Great Adventure in Tanzania
5/5

Andrew from the tour operator organized an individual itinerary for our friends and us. We had most probably the best driver the whole country has. Albert was just great. He drove very safely and showed us lot of wild animals which we never would discovered without him. In the Serengeti we enjoyed one of the best hotel we ever stayed. We enjoyed a great time in the beautiful Tanzania.

Very supportive regarding my donation
5/5

Speke Uganda is not only a great agency (see my review from 15.8.2017) but they also supported my idea to send a parcel with teaching material from Germany to "Bwindi Eco children Uganda" in Buhoma. The choir of this school welcomed us in the Silverback Lodge in Buhoma which was so amazing to me that I decided to support them. I sent the parcel to Speke and Derrick, our guide in August, handed it over. Speke sent me some photos of this handing over and I could see many smiling children!
Thank you Speke and thank you Derrick for your commitment!!!!!
