After an amazing trip in 2017 with my partner, I had told my friends about the best holiday I had ever had, this led to our safari in March.
Daniel is amazing, after months of emailing back and forth to get all the details in place and choosing an itinerary that matched everyone's ideas, we had everything in place for our trip.
We were taken care of from the minute we left the airport, being met by a representive from our hotel and then being met by Peter in the morning to start the adventure. This is the second time Peter has been my guide, he is incredible! Very patient and goes out his way to find the best sightings and ensure we were never rushed, giving us options of staying with the viewing we were with or moving on. Peter took care of everything, ensuring we were ready for all our activities and had plenty of water during the days.
We stayed in a mixture of accommodation, but the tents were my favourite - although calling them tents does not give a true reflection of the comfort and space we had, including fully function bathrooms. All the places we stayed we very welcoming , the staff were so helpful ensuring every need was met and checking that we were happy at all times.
Transtrek provides a personal, dedicated and flexible service that ensures you get what you want from your trip, I have enjoyed both trips with Transtrek and have already requested my next itinerary from Daniel.

Wonderful and astonishing trip!
Our tour exceeded our expectations, it was just simply amazing. We got recommendation for KT from our friend; from the very beginning the communication about the booking was very easy, they answered all our questions; we have got all information and also some tips ( not having experience so far with this).
I understood why it’s important to pay small deposits in advance - they just protecting their business against unfair people who confirms but never come.
Generally we’re very satisfied, also having a lot of fun and even small adventure as it almost started raining period and some “roads” either don’t exist or being destroyed by the rain.
I recommend KT for the journey as we have enjoyed it!

Amazing trip with a perfect guide
We were doing a four days safari. It was a perfect trip. Really good organized the days. We could see the big five thanks to our guide who tried to show us the best parts of the Masai Mara national reserve. If you go to kenia don't doubt on doing it! And if you have the opportunity you can ask for Tom! 100% recommendable!!!

Great referral to the operator Tydon Safaris Tour. I joined the 4 days safari tour in Eco-camp at Kruger National Park and sabi sand. I enjoyed the Safari tour very much with professional and caring guides, great food ,accomodation and transportation. Special Applause to our guide Gregg, because of his patience, professionalism and enthusiasm on animals ,we completed our big 5 in the last min of the tour.It was a great experience to join the ride with him.

Perfect in every way
The four day trip to Uganda and Rwanda exeeded our expectations, perfect from the beginning to the end. Not only the car and equipment, especially the very knowledgable and friendly tour guide, but also the excellent choice of locations and perfect organisation leave not other choice than awarding the highest possible score. Highly recommended.

Excellent Cardboard Box
Lilly is outstanding. When our flight out of Johannesburg to Windhoek was cancelled she helped us determine what to do around potentially rearranging the tour schedule, with good cheer and humour. The help was invaluable. I highly recommend Cardboard Box's service - the recommended self drive schedules are excellent and their first hand knowledge of Namibia is invaluable to setup a holiday for success, certainly from the wonderful time we experienced. The car was perfect for Namibian conditions, including ensuring we had 100% cover, which we needed, after crunching the vehicle's running board on a massive boulder. Our tour (Southern Namibia) was spectacular. We were there for scenery and photography. It didn't disappoint. What a spectacular country. The food at most places we stayed was outstanding. Desert Quiver camp, in particular, is very highly recommended. Accommodations are wonderful throughout the trip. Thank you Cardboard Box for arranging our trip and helping us have a wonderful time.

BEST EASTER VACATION
My 2 sons and I had a 4 day group sharing safari with Across the Wild tours & safaris during Easter holiday and it was the most enjoyable experience we had. We had a total number of 6 people in the vehicle but provided our own room with 3 beds. At first we though it will be difficult to travel with strangers but then it turned out to be the opposite we all got along pretty well and it was fun sharing the experience and at the end of safari we were all friends.
We really liked the way everything was handled by this company and our guide in the field who was very friendly, knowledgeable and always dedicated to everyone. From day one when they picked us at the airport till the end. I also appreciate the attention that was given for our holiday and how quickly an offer was made. My Children absolutely loved the trip. It was an amazing experience.
I am already planning my next holiday with my parents and this time thinking of combining Kenya and Tanzania and I will still use Across the Wild again.
