Amazing experience!
5/5

The Safari with E-Trip Africa was an incredible lifetime experience! The owners Ben and Aurelie communicated clearly and then lived up to their promises and our expectations. They were well in touch with our needs as tourists and the Tanzanian services which they coordinated. We chose the mid-range level, and were not disappointed. Accommodations as described: simple, clean and safe and meeting our needs. Food served in the camps was very good, and my dietary restrictions were well respected. Our driver David was beyond all expectations. He has 16 years experience as a guide and exudes enthusiasm and stories about the animals and the habitat, and was very attentive to our needs, even helping with our Internet and camera issues. He has a wonderful knowledge of nature and a keen eye for spotting animals. I could not recommend E-Trip, Ben, and David more highly.

Well organized, extremely helpfull with a tour guide who was second to none!
5/5

My wife, daughter and myself did a 5 day safari in June/2016. We saw 3 parks and, although we missed the migration, we saw tons of animals. Makasa organized the whole thing down to the last detail. Selma was extremely helpfull during the planning and organization stages. Our guide, Humphrey, was the absolute best. He was knowledgable, friendly and entertaining. Had us in stitches most of the time. He went out of his way to make sure we saw as much as possible and was more than happy to adjust the schedule if we wanted.
If we do another safari I would book with Makasa in a minute and request Humphrey again if possible.

Tanzania safari and zanzibar beach - Honeymoon
5/5

We booked our honeymoon through pure safari with John Graze and can honestly say it was the best trip ever.
I explained what I was looking to John and he made some suggestions before we finalised everything. The whole trip was above and beyond our expectations. Our extremely helpfull and knowledgeable guide Rich from kibo guides was there to greet us at Killamanjaro and from there he brought us on our 6 day safari. Rich was an excellent guide we got to see so much more wildlife than expected. Our accommodation throughout the safari was amazing and staff very friendly and helpfull.
After our safari we stayed at Z hotel in zanzibar for our beach break. Again John advised on the ocean front cottage room as I wanted something a bit luxurious and wow what a room.
We enjoyed every minute and will most definetly be planning our next safari soon.

Matched our expectations
4/5

We did a short albeit eventfull safari in January and I have only good things to say about it and how it was organized. I came to realize the importance of the drivers quality and how that affects the whole experience, in our case his name was Osmam, a well educated and genuine person that had much to show us. Even though it was the first time we did safari I have traveled much in the past and have worked in some of the most prestigious hotels in the world, I feel that it was, again, excellent value for the dollar. The Ngorogoro crater is a must with a Jurassic Park feeling to it. Luxury Herritage camp is an excellent choice with good standard considering how far it is from civilization,, comtact me if you need specifics: [email protected]

A quick river falls trip and a one day safari
5/5

The trip was amazing. I honestly don't think it could have been better. Vicent was the best!!!
He read us so well, seemed like he knew exactly what we wanted to see and got there to show it all to us. From his timely arrival at our hotel in Kampala to his tremendous driving skills, he was great. We loved the boat ride to the falls and all the sites we saw along the way. The hippos, elephants, and crocodiles were entertaining and we were happy not to see any snakes. Our hike up the falls was absolutely delightful and we got some great photos. Vincent was there to take us back to the lodge. The next morning the game drive was incredible. We saw four of the big five but frankly the giraffes more than made up for the lack of a leopard. Again, Vincent's skills really worked to our advantage. He pointed out numerous birds including the Secretary bird and the Crested Crane. When we thought there could be nothing more to see we arrived at the Rhino sanctuary, it was amazing to see these beautiful animals and learn about the struggles they are up against. We saw six rhinos all together. Very cool.

What was my favorite part? All of it, I don't think we would change a thing, but we will be back for more.

pro's
5/5

Initial contact to the actual booking, very helpful, fast and accurate.
The pic-up, tour and tour-guide was very professional and helpful. It was better than I expected.
Choosen accomondations, where less than I expected.
The Gorilla-trekking was a fantastic experience, however we had a very looong trekking. It is recommended that you are prepared for a quite exhausting walk out of any path.
Still not decided ? - just do it, its a must !!

Was not warned about the terrible road to the Outpost
1/5

My car was a two-wheel drive Jag and it took a lot of damage on the rough 4x4 road to the Outpost and I now have to pay almost R20,000 to get it repaired. These costs would have been avoided if I was warned not to attempt to take this road with a normal vehicle but rather to leave the car at Pafuri Gate and get picked up by one of the lodge's vehicles.

Really good safari
5/5

My mother and I went on a Safari through the Serengeti in February 2017.
It was a birthday gift for my mom. She has been dreaming of this trip for all her life and finally wanted to see lions and elephants in their natural habitat.
So I booked the trip though this platform. I directly got in touch with several operators and got swift replies from all of them. The contact was uncomplicated and they all offered good services for good prices.
But because we were most convinced by the offer that Galloping Safari made, we chose this operator. The price was a bit higher compared to the other operators, BUT … the little surcharge was well worth it.
The accomodations were really good! (Believe me, after a long day of Safari, you just want to enjoy a good accommodation!)
Also the locations of the accommodations were quite pleasing (especially the one in the Serengeti).
Our tour guide was doing a magnificent job, trying to get us up close to the wildlife (without ever getting into the comfort-zone of the animals).
We were really lucky on our trip, we saw so many things that even I had not expected! We were always up close and the first to see things, when they happened. (once a pack of lions even killed a bull, right in front of us)
It sure demands a lot of luck to see all the things we have seen on our Safari. But when fate is on your side, you can be sure that Galloping Safari will do their best to make the best of it!

Amazing African Safari
5/5

Absolutely Awesome! We thrilled to the jeep experience on dusty and sometimes rocky, lopsided roads. Glued to our binoculars we spotted leopards lazing in trees, lions fasting and ready to mate, vultures huddled in globs patiently waiting their turn for some carrion. Wilderbeasts, by the thousands roaming in herds or following one another slowly in lines of migration. Zebras often in their tow. Sweet dik diks and Grant Gazelle's leaping and frolicking with wart hogs trotting to and from. Hyenas prowling. Monkeys scampering, often with baby below belly. Hippos settled in mud ponds with eyes bopping up and down as they snorted, snickered and grunted their contentment. Hippos grazing outside our resort windows under the pluck of sparkling stars. White andWe were totally enthralled with our Safari tours in Kenya and Tanzania. Never tiring of endless scouting for wildlife and never disappointed. We would especially like to thank Japeth for his patience and give never-ending hurrahs for our excellent chauffeur, Steve Weru. A former game ranger, he knew how to ferret about for sightings. Moreover, he delighted us with his sense of humor and endless African wildlife tales. Spoken from experience and with wisdom in almost word-perfect English. We would love to do it all again!
