Excellent safari
Rachel and Dennis are very helpful and friendly. We saw all the big five on the full day safari in Day 2. It was a very pleasant trip.
Expedition 123. Malawi
Our trip to Malawi was a great experience: we spent a lot of time in Natural parks (Majete and Liwonde) but still we had many opportunities to get in touch with the real local life in the villages, on the lake shores and at Mulanje tea plantations. Everything was perfectly managed by Stefano and Francesca, our special guides, who gave us the chance to appreciate every single moment of our trip. Traveling with them is like having a big bag full of perfect knowledge of the country, its history, its traditions, its nature always at hand. But the best part is that this bag is not heavy at all! Just like traveling around with two old friends, committed to meet all our needs and expectations.
Definitely AWT was the best choice for our first african experience!

Saying my experience with Mwamba Tours and Travel was awesome is an understatement.
It was one of those long weekends in April and I was contemplating spending some time out town and probably in the wild. I approached several of my friends to see if we could do it as a group but apparently we could not settle on the best destination for us. On consultation, one of my colleagues referred me to Mwamba Tours and Travel of which he said they are good at what they do and at the same time very affordable. True to his words, on calling them, the reception I got is on its own level. Their communications and marketing team is in a class of its own. They gave me all the available options on good getaway places complete with the packages and their costs and so we had a very easy time on decision making. Masai Mara was our bet and believe you me it was a winning bet. We booked for the Safari which was to happen in two weeks time. Mwamba Tours and Travel took it upon themselves to keep us updated and reminding us on our safari date almost on a daily basis just to make sure we were on our best when that day came. The briefings we received from their team was so on point such that we were so prepared when that time came. All the requirements were made known to us and so when the D day came, we were all psyched up. At Mwamba Tours and Travel, time is of essence. They know how to keep time and stick to it. The professionalism of their drivers and tour guides and their knowledge of sites is admirable. Our stay in Masai Mara for 3 days and 2 nights cannot be summarised in one episode, it was just awesome. I can't wait for my next safari with Mwamba Tours and Travel to Lake Kivu in Rwanda which is due in mid June 2017. I feel like safaris are becoming part of my life courtesy of Mwamba Tours and Travel. None of my four friends I have referred to them has reported being discontented in their services. This boosts my confidence level anytime I am referring a friend to them. To anyone thinking of a safari both within the Kenyan borders and beyond, Mwamba Tours and Travel is absolutely a sure bet. No regrets. Viva Mwamba Tours, long live Mwamba Tours.

All our expectations were exceeded and we loved every minute of our safari.
Beacon's itinerary and accommodation package was excellent
Beacon seamlessly picked us up at Nairobi Airport, took us to all of our selected destinations, undertook all of our many game drives and dropped us off at the airport
Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Sweetwaters Ol Pajeta were great locations with superb accommodation
The jeep was modern and comfortable and suited our safari perfectly
Thanks to our guide Antony, we saw lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, rhinos (both black and white), buffalo, zebra, a huge variety of antelope, giraffe, baboons, monkeys, warthog, waterbucks, wildebeest, crocodiles, ostriches, flamingoes and a wide variety of birds
We also saw 4 leopards over 3 days and many cheetahs
We also did side trips to the David Sheldrick facilty and the giraffe centre in Nairobi and the Sweetwaters chimpanzee sanctuary
Antony really impressed us with his broad knowledge of game, locations and all things Kenya (and leopard spotting)
Thanks to Beacon and Antony, this safari was simply amazing

Exceeded expectations
Terrific experience going through Roho Ya Chui to book my South Africa trip. She was patient with my questions and helped me ensure every detail was handled. We did the first part of our Sabi Sands safari at Londolozi and it was perfection. When we left and arrived inCapetown, every transfer and tour was taken care of and we never had to figure out where we were going. Highly recommend for booking travel.

Good experience
My daughter and I booked a 3 day/2 night safari with Mwema, which included pick up from Nairobi and drop-off in Watamu. Simon was very fast at responding to all our queries in advance. Anthony was our driver and safari guide; he was very flexible and knowledgable about the animals. We felt safe and well looked after. We stayed at Kibo safari lodge in Amboseli which we found to be a very friendly place - we loved our spacious tent. Amboseli was great for viewing elephants in particular, though we were also lucky enough to see a variety of other game including a lion and her cubs. Then we moved to Kilanguni Lodge in Tsavo - this was comfortable and has a watering hole right outside - it was rainy season but we imagine this would be amazing in the dry season when animals visit. We also enjoyed the lava flows at Tsavo. All in all a great experience with a good local company. The safari van was a little bit old, but I think is being replaced very soon after having racked up over 150,000 miles!

Kathi was amazing!
Kathi was incredibly patient despite all the changes we had her make. She was helpful and replied as soon as she could. While the trip was unlike anything we had done before, we felt more options could be given regarding the type of car we were paying for. Well, we got a Mercedes and should not complain. Yet I can't help but wished we were given options (regular sedan vs luxury) beforehand and its corresponding costs. My tour guide was friendly and we had fun exploring Cape Town with him. Cape Town is beautiful and our safari was great.
