Avoid at all costs
The one (and only) good part of the safari was the driver Charles. He was incredibly knowledgeable, charismatic, talented wildlife spotter, and a safe driver.
Everything else about the safari was a scam - one lie after another. I was told we'd have 4 nights of lodges, but ended up with 1 night in a lodge and the rest in cheap camps/hotels. I was told the lodges were closed, but I called the lodge and confirmed they were open. I was told we couldn't visit a lake due to the weather forecast, but the forecast was perfect. The other tour members were told that we were skipping the lake because I didn't want to go there (outright lies). The itinerary was changed multiple times before we departed, with many destinations removed. To top it off, the owner told me he would meet me at the end of the tour to refund me, and unsurprisingly he never showed up.
Avoid this tour company at all costs. It's not worth ruining your Kenya experience.
Great Communication
We sadly had to cancel our trip with Mama Savana due to COVID border closures however we really appreciated Alex’s communication throughout the past few years. In booking the trip Alex was very responsive and accommodating to my requests. Finally when it became apparent we wouldn’t be allowed to travel over, we were able to come to an agreement which suited all parties. We understood that Mama Savana is a small operator who would see tough times in the year ahead, they understood that we were a family with a new baby who couldn’t travel any time soon and very much needed the funds to tide us over. As such, we ended up splitting the deposit. I appreciate Alex’s willingness to work with us to come to an arrangement which was fair and suited everyone. Great customer service!

Private luxury tour
Excellent safari with my friends, we all enjoyed my birthday party in Kenya and thanks for the party surprise and cultural dance. We love the Fairmont Mara Camp, we had our own deck and morning tea served in our deck. The hippos were making noise, experience was memorable. We saw a lot of animals in Ol Pejeta, Nakuru and Masai Mara. Thank you very much for all these!

Reliable company and safari
We choose a 9day 8 nights safari, the expereience was great! Quotation was very competitive, hotels were exceeded our expectation, driver was professional and passion to share their knowledge, itinerary was smooth and the animals we saw were unbeatable. Recommend them!

Amazing experience
Amazing day, Hell’s gate was amazing with incredible landscapes and animals. Then the cruise on Lake Naivasha was the best way to end the day.

Incredible 10-day safari at Maasai Mara
This was our third trip with Africa Safari Classics, and as usual everything was excellent. Maurice helped us plan the trip on quite short notice, and his recommendations were just perfect. All the camps had incredible accommodation and service, lovely and kind staff and very well located for game drives.
Maurice was on top of everything, calling us on texting to ensure things were running smoothly as per plan. He even took the time to come to meet at the hotel before departing to the reserve. And this was on a Sunday!
I can’t recommend Africa Safari Classics enough. They have the knowledge, the experience and always strive for the best quality. And at affordable prices.
Special mentioned to our guide and driver, Peter. He was the best! Not only does he have an incredible knowledge of the wildlife but also, he is the most patience, respectful and understanding guide you can wish for. He was always willing to give us more time with the animals, share his knowledge, accommodate the day based on our preferences. Honestly, this trip would have not been so good without him! 5 stars also for Peter!

An unforgettable adventure!
If someone asks us - what was one of the best days of your life? - No doubts: the day we spent on safari with African Ambition Tours. Everything was organized amazingly accurately, comfortably, professionally. Starting from the planning of our trip (recommendations, advices, communication thru messangers - many thanks for Galina!) and ending with the trip itself, the Ngorongoro Park, the most beautiful views of wildlife and animals, which were shown to us in all its glory by a real professional and a wonderful person, a guide and the founder of the company - Dismas. He made our trip and the first safari unique and unforgettable, such that we flew away with the idea to visit these places again and explore other national parks together with African Ambition Tours. Also we were impressed by the incredibly cozy and comfortable hotels in Arusha and Karatu, delicious food and real safari off-roader (which we never tried before) and which was only for us!
