Fantastic days with Philimon in deepest African bush in Khwai , Botswana. Camp setup was wonderful.
Fantastic from the moment we were collected. Nothing too much trouble for the wonderful Philimon

An experience worthy of being remembered
Excellent staff, well trained and very willing to respond to clients needs and emergencies. Marhaba definitely exceeded every exception I had in them, the planning was flawless, the booking was on point and each experience was tailored to our every need. The programme was communicated to us before hand so that we had a chance to change and know what was to come.

Excellent 3 day Murchison Falls Safari
We had a great Safari experience with Africa Nature Trekkers. The commuication and booking process was very smooth and we got a competitive offer. The offered intenerary was a good fit for a three day tour.
Our guide (Barnabus) was a very pleasant person. We appreciated his careful driving and felt very safe although the traffic in Uganda can be crazy. Barnabus was very knowledgable about the National Park and its wildlife. Due to his good network with other gudies he constantly received information on spotting of animals. Therefore, we saw inter alia several lions even with cubs - the highlight of our safari. Barnabus also ensured that our interests and wishes were met during the tour.
We are very satisfied with our safari experience and would highly recommend Africa Nature Trekkers and especially Barnabus.

Turned out to be an enjoyable experience.
Out of desperation and because of our limited time in Kenya, we booked less than half a day before the trip without any prior research. Because of this, our expectations were already not that high. But I'm glad to say it was an enjoyable experience and well worth the price. The campsite was great and the food is good. Our tent had solar-powered lights and hot water (although both were not working the last morning but it was not a big deal). The tour itself is exactly what was described in the tour info page. The worst part of the whole thing was the horrible roads but that's hardly the fault of the tour operator.
I just want to thank Lenchada for accommodating our last-minute request to go on this safari.

Poor management, did not follow itinerary, rude, Great driver
I recommend looking ELSEWHERE before booking with Orongai Africa. I am not one to write bad reviews but my poor experience with them warrants such review.
I priced out many safaris prior to booking and specifically requested going to Lake Manyara weeks before booking with Orongai. They agreed to this and I paid a deposit down for a 5 day, 4 night safari. One week after paying for half of the trip, they sent an email with what looked like the same itinerary as we agreed upon. What I did not realize however was that they deleted Lake Manyara (despite our initial request and agreement) from the last day without discussing this with me at all. After arriving in Tanzania from Kenya (which I will give them 1 star of credit for because they were very accommodating to picking me and my significant other up from the border which was very helpful), we had to pay for the second half of the trip. We attempted to pay via paypal with a credit card which "did not go through", so I sent a second payment through paypal. Essentially, we paid 1.5x what was originally agreed upon. I have now been back for 4 weeks to the USA and despite emailing multiple times, we have yet to receive a refund for the extra half trip we paid for. I hope we get our money back soon.
Not only is their management rude sending snarky emails back and accusing us of not tipping our amazing guide (for which I take a lot of offense to because we tipped him extra for how great his knowledge and sense of humor was), but they are UNTRUSTWORTHY for changing itineraries AFTER money was already paid.
I highly recommend looking elsewhere before booking with this company. Save yourself the headache of being accused of being a bad person inappropriately.
On a side note, if you do come across a safari guide named Issac. He is really great and gave us a good experience on 4 out of the 5 days of the safari that the company took us on. The 5th day, they stated we had "used all of our money up" and could not go on the last day of the safari before the airport. Such a disaster.

Very Personal and Flexible
Annette had worked with us to tailor the dates, locations and lodging just for us and our needs. She found a lodge for us that was far more comfortable and beautiful than any place I had ever stayed in. I could have stayed there for the whole trip. She took the time to answer our many questions and worked with us to determine the best itinerary for our 5 day safari.

Excellent experience
We had a very positive experience.
Axis Africa Safari's trip proposal, planning and quick answer to all our questions was excellent.
Thank you for organizing this unique experience for us.
Samuel is a great guide and driver. He was constantly taking care of our comfort and safety. He is an excellent driver, very friendly and knowledgeable as safari guide. He was able to find the most seldom animals ever seen!
We would positively advise him to everyone.
The Sopa lodge in Lake Navashai was the best you could imagine. It was so luxurious and special with the animals walking around in the garden, even hippos at night! In all lodges the food was excellent.
Since rainy season had just begon, it was very important we had a 4-wheel drive car. We were able to go everywhere, where other cars got stuck sometimes.

Top Cream Tours and Safaris has the best Tours Operators
Hi there,
We have used Top Cream Tours and Safaris for safaris to Ruaha and Selous in Southern Tanzania, one in 2017 and one in March 2018 (so very recent). They were excellent at planning and delivering a great trip and were good value for money for this type of "fly in" safari. For us in the UK they have the advantage of giving us a price in Sterling and offering comprehensive insurance.
Besides, we have also done about 5 safaris in Northern Tanzania where we generally drive between the parks. For all these Safaris we always used Top Cream Tours and Safaris because it gives us flexiblility and choice to use a local tour operator. Also for this type of trip you are with your guide the entire time so I like to make sure I get to choose who we are with as a great guide is really important. We have always found Mr. Erastus Njoroge at Top Cream Tours and Safaris to be incredibly helpful in planning and booking our trips and Felix our guide is always great.......we have never had any problems on our safaris and have loved every minute. We have our next Safari booked with Top Cream Tours and Safaris in May 2018, this time visiting the Western Corridor in the Serengeti which will be new for us.
So really it depends what sort of trip you are planning and who you feel comfortable dealing with.

Great attention to detail to ensure an amazing experience
Drive Tanzania Ltd is super organization. The staff is wonderful, helpful and great with communication. The trip planning was very good, although a few really long hard drives it is a big country, we had a super time and did SO much during our 10-day road trip. We saw Gorillas a MUST DO experience, saw the amazing game in the Safari parks, saw the wondrous Murchison, had adventurous boat trips, and did a walking safari at a Rhino sanctuary. Uganda is in much need of better global disclosure and marketing as it is such a unique and beautiful place to visit. We all highly recommend Uganda as a destination and would certainly recommend Drive Tanzania Ltd. The trip was planned with stays at great lodges, delicious food, super service. Mr. Yoeni was amazing. We felt very much taken care of in his care and we had the mainly interesting discussions with him and learned so much from him.
