My mind was blown, impeccable and very personalized service!
5/5

Even before I got to Victoria Falls, days before the tour was scheduled Ketty and Bella kept in communication with us, they picked us up from our hotel and took care of every single detail. They became like friends to my fiance and I. They were extremely professional and I felt that the experience they organised was well thought out and this exceeded my expectations!

Untrustworthy, changes to itinerary, skipped site, misleading communications...
1/5

I do not recommend this tour company. No compensation for changed itinerary with a site completely skipped that was on my tour, no pickup in Arusha on arrival, poor customer relations and misleading communications from day to day, difficulty with payment at national park resulting in lost time on drive, not enough room in vehicle for equipment so stacked tents on top resulting in no pop up viewing one day. It just seems the operator wants money and cannot deliver what is promised. Be very wary when touring in Tanzania. Enough said. I have experienced several safaris, and this one is the only one that I can say was regrettable.

Uganda, Safari, Chimpanzee-, Rhino- and Gorilla Trekking
5/5

We were absolutely happy with Journeys Discovering Africa. They whole staff was amazing and Patrick set up a great programme for our Honeymoon in Uganda. We can really recommend to book your Trip with them, it was perfectly organized and nothing to complain about! We felt very safe all the time and had our best experiences with them!

Awesome
5/5

The holiday obviously benefited locals, involved in tourism most. The community walks where we learnt more about local ways of life and saw life up close were simple and were of benefit to the local community. they were interesting and seemed to reinforce pride in local ways and tradition. The gorilla and Chimpanzee tracking helps preserve and conserve the groups of chimps and gorillas which are now protected in the natural rain forest environment. we thank you Goexplore Safaris for organizing for us this kind of responsible safari where we learnt so much on the trips and our guide Dickson was amazingly knowledgeable.. we recommend the service.. BRAVO!!!

Fantastic
5/5

I wanted to add an addendum to my previous review. Goexplore provided outstanding service. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and well balanced to give a real feel for African experience, adventure and western needs. By the way, we didn't not have a bad meal time the entire trip. the driver Dickson was knowledgeable, proficient and definitely knew his way around and was a good man. He threw me a bit when he claimed hippos and crocodiles were both reptiles but I am not sure he wasn't pulling my leg.
It is moments like that you bring home, little connections thank you Brian for the well organised safaris.

Attentive service and a top notch package
5/5

Even at very short notice, our agent organized a tailor made safari experience at five-star lodges in Botswana's national parks and nature reserves where we could experience the wildlife in their natural habitat. We reached the camps by plane that allowed for great views of the Delta and Kalahari. Two thumbs up!

Amazing Exprience - Highly Recommended!
5/5

This trip was absolutely life changing. The plan was perfect: every day was special, different and exciting, the views and wildlife were inspiring and our guide was very knowledgeable about everything, spoke perfect English and was an absolute joy altogether. Accommodation during the trip was also the best We could imagine and we were completely comfortable throughout the trip. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who appreciates and loves nature and animals. Keep up the amazing work!

Everything was perfect.
5/5

Everything with Meru Slopes was great; the Kilimanjaro trek and the safari, all the staff working in the company, guides and chefs for both trips... They told us the first day they'd try to make us feel at home while away from home, and they certainly did. Looking forward to go back to Tanzania with them; even if we usually don't travel with tours, it was one of the best trips of our life. Thanks everyone at Meru Slopes.

Incredible 12-day exploration of Madagascar
5/5

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent 12-day tour of Madagascar with Matoke Tours. This is the fourth country I've explored with Matoke (the others being Uganda, Rwanda & Ethiopia) and I continue to be pleased with my experience with them. I continue to recommend them to friends and colleagues, all of whom have been very happy with their Matoke experiences.

In each country, I have worked with someone different at Matoke (the staff has country-specific expertise) but the level of customer service has not changed. For a variety of reasons, my trip to Madagascar required several major changes - including shifting the trip from a December timeframe to one in March - and Coen, at Matoke, made those changes so easy. I really appreciated his flexibility in moving things around to accommodate my changing needs. Madagascar was also the first solo trip I've taken with Matoke and I was so fortunate to be matched with an incredible guide, Tojo, who really made the trip. He was so good-natured, easy company, knowledgable, funny, and kind. I learned an enormous amount about Madagascar from Tojo in a short period of time. I highly recommend him as a guide for all travelers, whether solo, families, couples, groups, etc.

Madagascar has amazing wildlife and nature. I was lucky enough to see seven different species of lemurs and many chameleons, thanks to the great guides Matoke hired for me in both Ranomafana and Isalo National Park. The overall beauty of the country is breathtaking. I never tired of watching the landscapes change from the window of the van and marveled at the city and village scenes that we both walked and drove through.

The accommodations in Madagascar were more simple than what I had in Uganda and Rwanda, but Matoke successfully managed my expectations about the level of accommodations during the planning stages. I had a very clear idea of what to expect before I arrived. Every place I stayed was absolutely fine - safe, clean, friendly staff, good food - but were not luxurious (with the exception of one more upscale place - Jardin du Roy). Some were in beautiful settings but slightly out of town, making it less easy to do an impromptu walk through town. And you have to be prepared to not have electricity in many places during the night, which can mean some warm evenings.

My Madagascar itinerary was a good mixture of cities, rainforests, beach, mountains/canyons, as well as being both active and having downtime. In retrospect, I probably could have added a few more "active" experiences to my itinerary but also appreciated having downtime many afternoons to read and relax. In my experience, Matoke is very receptive to creating the experience you are seeking. I encourage travelers to let them know up front what kind of experience they want to have.

Overall, another great experience with Matoke. I highly recommend them to travelers genuinely seeking an experience that will be informative, exciting, safe/comfortable, fun, and memorable. I also highly recommend Madagascar as a destination. So many beautiful places to see, creatures to admire, and incredible people to meet.
