Safari Update Travels have automatically become my go-to travel planners. They're organised, whatever they post, is what they provide and work to ensure their clients are comfortable.

I'm already looking for more trips with them. Totally worth it!

Amazing amboseli tour
5/5

We had an amazing tour of amboseli with Africa starpal. Highly recommend them, they pick us up from our hotel in Nairobi early and the drive is not bad they will stop for you to use bathroom or eat something. Once at amboseli we checked in at our hotel that they helped me book then we went for an evening game drive, the park was great we got to see lots of animals. We spend the night at our hotel then went out again in the morning for an early game drive where we got to see even more animals. I can’t say anything negative about this company I will gladly use them again when I go back to Kenya

Excellent service and exceptional guide/driver
5/5

Jabulani travel was very prompt with their offers, I was able to negotiate prices for different types of accommodation on offer and our guide/driver, Anthony was exceptional. He was a very skilled and knowledgeable driver, very personable and made the experience memorable.

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

Me and my girlfriend did a 8-day mid-range safari in February. We visited the following parks: Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and the Ndutu Area. I've broken down my review into sections.

Accommodations & Food:
I cannot begin to express how blown away we were with the entire experience. The service, food and accommodations were exceptional...especially considering we paid for a mid-range package. It was sparkling clean, well appointed, had comfy beds, spacious rooms and great showers. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And the food was absolutely delicious!

I'm pleased to say I can say all the same about the bush camp. I didn't really know what to expect in that regard, but upon arrival we were shocked (in the best way possible). While the tents do have canvas sides, they are much more like cabins than tents. They have wrap around decks, wood floors, hot showers, and amazingly comfortable beds. It felt more like staying at an eco-hotel than staying in a tent and we were not mad about it. On top of that, the staff was outstanding and served some of the best meals of our entire trip.

Guide & Game Drive:
Our guide Salehe was the best! He was kind and friendly and a very good driver and was always doing his best to find animals for us. He happily answered all our questions and helped educate on us on the animals and ecosystem. With his knowledge and keen eye, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5 during our trip. Considering how much time you spend with your guide, we were grateful to have such a professional. The vehicle itself was spacious, clean and well maintained. It was always stocked with cold waters and had outlets in case devices needed to charged throughout the day.

Communication & Value:
We had reached out to several other tour companies for quotes before deciding to go with Lion King. They were always so prompt with their responses and patient while waiting for us to make our decision. When it came to pricing, they were not the cheapest but were nowhere near the most expensive either. They had great reviews and were so on top of their communications, that we felt confident going with them.

Overall:
This was a trip of a lifetime! Safari was a bucket list item for us, so we had high expectations and Lion King over delivered. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do safari in Tanzania and would happily book with them again if given the chance.

Brilliant safari from Nairobi to Nanyuki and Naivasha
5/5

We used Dume Africa Trails for our safari round trip from Nairobi, through Nanyuki and Lake Naivasha.

We are a family of 4 with 2 children (3y, 8months)

The trip was excellent.

Henry was really quick to respond to all of our enquiries and was really helpful. He was keen for us to provide a rough itinerary so that he could tailor our experience to our needs.

The driver Steve was great. He was fantastic with the kids and was happy to always accomodate us for ours and the kids needs. He was always on time and available any time we needed.

The safari itself was brilliant. Nanyuki had some amazing safari. We visited Ol Pejeta, ngari Ndare and the animal sanctuary. Steve drove us on safari and also joined us for the hike to the waterfalls. He was knowledgeable, friendly and a great guide for each. (In some areas we where also joined by other rangers/guides for more information and protection from wildlife.)

Naivasha was equally as good. Steve took us on safari through Hell's Gate national park. We could not take bicycles due to the children, so Steve took us on a game drive. Steve was very useful in this as he organised a further guide to take us into the ravine as some areas of the park had been closed.

All together we had a fantastic time thanks to Steve and Dume Africa Trails. Couldn't recommend them more.

Very professional, amazing service and no question is stupid, they will help you no matter what :)
5/5

From the planing process few months before, to the end of safari, it was a 5-star excellent service.
Steve who helped us with all the big and small questions about the trip was amazing.
This helped us a lot on what we need, how it works etc.

And then we had, what I like to say, the best Safari guide ever, Abubakar!
This company probably have some great safari guides, but if we want to recommend one, it has to be Abubakar. He taught us so many new and interesting things, he was very helpful, he listed to us, he answered all our question and genuinely very nice guy.
It definitely recommende Africa Kenya Safaris and Abubakar if you are looking for a complete and intimate experience of the amazing wildfile Masai Mara has to offer.

And please, stay at Ashnil Mara Camp, it was super clean, amazing food and right next to the Hippo river.
