Full marks for the arrangements and itenary
5/5

We had a customised 7 day tour to four parks in Tanzania: Mynara, Ngorongoro, Sarengeti and Tarangire. We were greeted at Kilimanjaro airport and driven for all days with unlimited safaris in these parks. The accommodation was excellent and our vegetarian diet was very good. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, we saw all the major game as well as many species of birds. It was a very memorable tour, thanks to the painstaking care by Soumitra Chatterji who kept track of all the proceedings. We look forward to more safaris in Africa with Just Travels in near future.

Experience of a lifetime
5/5

My husband and I were slightly apprehensive having never done a safari before but the arrangements and booking process was amazing with Beacon Safaris, Robert made everything so easy. Every single minute was exceptional Antony picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at our hotel and Khan was there bang on time the next morning for our safari to begin. Khan was superb and his knowledge immense, nothing was too much bother. Khan took us to the Sarova at Masi Mari, he was such good company and we learnt such a lot from him, he went out of his way to give us a good experience, an absolute credit to Beacon Safaris who I cannot recommend enough. Sadly when we went to Lake Nakuru Khan was unable to come along, which I understand is very unusual as you normally have the same guide throughout. We had Evans who was also very good. We saw the big 5 and so much more. Don't consider booking with anyone else!

This was one of the most profound discoveries of my life. For me to say that, it's saying something.

I enjoyed every bit of this trip. I was overwhelmed by the hospitality, the accommodations, food, safaris, professionalism and the overall trip itself. I felt treated like royalty everywhere we went. I keep talking aboutmy experience, and me words can not express the experience. This is a must see for yourself!

wonderful Tanzania safari days
5/5

During the booking phase for our holidays we were really curious about booking a safari experience. In search of a "taste" we choose a two-day tour through the Tarangire & Lake Manyara national parks. Just a few minutes after our enquiry we received an answer from Emman, the managing director of Kili Serengeti guides. His suggestions of accomodations were perfect and all in all there was no need to thange anything of his offer.

Really excited we landed at Arusha airport on the first of June. Emman collected us himself and brought us to the hostel. Everytime talking to him was easy and a pleasure. After meeting our guide Mike (by far the coolest guide we ever met during any tours) in the hostel, Emman gave us a ride for a restaurant because we knew nothing in Arusha.

The next day Mike collected us early in the morning and the 2 day adventure started. He gave us so much information about the country and the people during the ride to Tarangire. He showed us some really nice souvenir shops aswell but the highlight was the game drive during the day. With all his patience he explained everything, giving so many insights especially about the birds. We were really lucky sawing every animal in Tarangire.

The evening we spend in a really nice panorama tent camp at Lake Manyara. Meeting the cook John there was a pleasure aswell. The food was so damn delicious and we had a wonderful stay there (especially seeing the milky way during the night there).

The next day we started after a great breakfast from John to the Lake Manyara Game drive. Like a little jungle it was so nice to see the elephants, hippos, buffalos, zebras, giraffes etc.

In the afternoon, Mike drove us back to Arusha were we met Emman and he gave us a second ride for dinner again. Thank you so much for this.

The next day he showed us his little office and drove us back to the airport.

All in all; this experience was amazing. From the beginning to the end, everything was so well organized and it was great to see, that Emman, Mike and John took so much care of us.

So please; if you want to book a safari in Tanzania: choose Kili Serengeti Guides; you won't regret it! (especially for this price)

With much love from Hamburg

perfect safari experience
5/5

We booked a group tour with this company for three days to Masai Mara in February 2018. It was just a perfect experience.
Picked on time at the airport upon arriving in Kenyas Capital City. We always knwe what was to happen each day. Accommodation was Aunthentic yet very comfortable. Very friendly guide. We enjoyed and requested for an extra days but in Amboseli. Here we had to take a private. tour as there were no groups to join on ghis specific day and it was very affordable and the experience was even better. Kibo safari camp was just the best. Wonderful meal. Amboseli Game drives not as great as Mara but worth visiting. The guide here was as great.

we conclude
The tour was nice
Very nice people
Informative guide and operator
Wonderful places with all animals

Honestly it was better than we expected and we can highly recommend AVS Team to all

Best regards,
Anastacia

Received the best of care and had a really enjoyable vacation with KWSS.
5/5

At the get go I should say Otienno and his two guides Paul and Michael were outstanding. Each and every safari game drive was rich in terms of diversity and Paul and Micheal were careful to not miss out on the big game (the big 5 and the small ones (Dik dik, chameleons, lots of birds). They were very warm, excellent conversationalists with all the questions we asked them of the animal Specifics as well as about their countries Kenya and Tanzania
In Kenya we had a terrific experience in Amboseli where Paul knew where to show us the elephants and the lions, very close. In Masai Mara it was a large variety of game which we also saw. Paul made sure we had regular comfort breaks and took care of a smooth drive when outside of the safari zones
On the Tanzania side to start with after immigration which wasn’t very long, we moved to a land cruiser and the vehicle was very good and had excellent height and Micheal drove very smoothly. The game drive in Serengeti NP was magical with close encounters with cheetah, lions galore , elephants.... ngorongoro was beautiful and diverse with lots of herds of zebra, wildebeeste and we got to see very large male lions and lion prides. The rhinos were a little shy but we saw them moving from a distance too
I must add that the places KWSS booked for us to stay in like the Kibo tented Safari Camp at
Amboseli or the octagon lodge at Karatu near Ngorongoro were lovely - both in terms of comfort of stay and the service levels
Overall we never had a dull moment - it was an exciting holiday and made possible by the warm and knowledgeable guides from KWSS
Michael, Paul and Otienno thanks for making this truly outstanding

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!
5/5

WOW, WOW, WOW!!

I got a hold of them through safaribookings.com,
We were a last minute booking because of a cancellation due to security concerns in the DRC.

Nicholas sorted out all and custom made our trip for a 6 day Uganda "safari" to and from Kigali.
His communication was spot on and his mails were clear and easy to understand.
We did ALOT in the six days!!
Gorillas, Chimps, Boat cruise, Horse riding, Walks and a little bit of relaxing.
This all without any delay, hick up, hold back or error of any kind!

We were very lucky I believe to have gotten Robert(Mojune) as our personal guide, to say he is incredible is a understatement.
He is an ex history teacher, so he just knows everything about Rwanda and Uganda!
He is talkative but not overly so keeps to himself in the best possible way. He also knows almost everything about nature!
We even used his phone as a hotspot when there were no wifi to be had.

We can not more highly recommend Nicholas for your Uganda travel, I believe all his team will be great but if you could be so lucky as to get Robert then thank your stars!!

Thank you so much for a unforgettable trip!!!

Simply Unmatched
5/5

Our travel group consisted of 6 friends - including two couples - coming from four different countries (USA, Germany, Moldova, Switzerland). We had been looking for a 6-day trip to the Panorama Route and Kruger NP at a reasonable budget.

We contacted a number of different tour operators to obtain various tour offers taking our late arrival in JNB due to a wedding the previous night into account, but the only company that responded to us within a couple of hours and demonstrated the required flexibility was Red Africa Safaris. Everyone else took much longer to get back to us and then suggested to just spend the entire day in Johannesburg and start the tour the next day (and thus shortening our nature experience by one entire day) - an idea we did not like at all.

Our first very positive impression of Red Africa Safaris can be entirely attributed to Amelia, the tour organizer, who turned out to be extremely responsive, adaptive to our needs and requests, and who continued to be so kind and friendly even though we kept making changes to the suggested itinerary and added more and more restrictions.

On the day of the start of our tour, we met our guide, Jaco (pronounced "Yaku") for the first time when he picked us up at the airport. The next six days we spent with him far exceeded our expectations and hopes. How can a guide know so much, be so funny and sarcastic, and cook like a chef all at the same time? Not to forget his eagle eyes which spotted animals that blended into their environment perfectly - from a distance of several kilometers and while driving our car?! Some of us had a hard time seeing the animal with binoculars and after he had explained in detail where to look for it. Jaco is outstanding, there is no other word for it, and all the reviews I had read before contacting RAS turned out to be right and to the point.

And I have to admit that - at first - I was not sure what to think of having a "stranger" be with us all day long. Thanks to Jaco's wonderful, interesting, and funny personality, these thoughts quickly vanished when we realized that, by the end of the first day, Jaco had already turned into a full member of our group and was included in our conversations and jokes as we already considered him our friend and appreciated his company.

For a fact we all got along so well that we have already requested an itinerary from Amelia for another trip to Africa next year - with Jaco as our tour guide. We cannot wait for this new adventure!

Thank you, Amelia and Jaco, for everything. We could not have enjoyed our trip more, and you are simply great! Lots of love from Switzerland

PS: We even named our new cat after Jaco --- YAKU :-).
