We are seasoned travellers amd this was our favorite vacation ever! Top notch service and experience
We had a trip of a lifetime with our guide Junior (Godlisten) of Earthlife expeditions. All staff very very helpful and went the extra mile many times during our adventure. Our luggage was delayed 4 days and our guide purchased clothing and basics for us so that we could enjoy our first few days, he even gave my fiance his own clothes to wear (shirt, shorts, sandals) and then drove hours to pick our luggage up that was a detour from our itineray while we rested at our homestay. Our itinerary was a dream, we saw everything and so much more than we hoped. Our guide was very talented at positioning the vehicle and reading animal behaviors for extraordinary photo opportunities, I noticed we had better vantage points often than other safari vehicles. All accomodations were excellent. We asked for a trip to Kilimanjaro and a local village homestay and these were added on without any issues to our itinerary. We met many local people and had a wonderful cultural experience in addition to the safari that was authentic and private. I was very impressed with the skills and talents of our guide, he was fluent in 5 languages, a mechanic and handy man (which is important on the rough roads), great help negotiating at local markets and with guides. I have a keen interest in agriculture and ethnobotany and Junior made sure I had many opportunities to learn, including an improptu bush walk with the local Masai people to learn about medicinal plants. We had a surreal experience of coming uncomfotably close to a lioness while at an observation point in a park out of the vehicle (a place permitted to be out) and he was calm, and instucted us on what to do in a way that minimized our stress and fears, the lioness continued on her way, an experience we won't soon forget! Junior cleaned the vehicle every day and there was a fridge and charging ports in the car which were muchly appreciated as camera batteries don't last long with all the photo opportunities. We shopped around with several companies and feel we had excellent value and a wonderful safari vacation with Earthlife. At the conclusion of our safari they even booked our domestic flight to Zanzibar and met us at the airport with our tickets and arranged transport to our next hotel even though our tour with their company had concluded. We highly recommend and are grateful for the memories and experience we had!

Most Amazing Experience!!!
From the very beginning Africa Tours Adventure stood out from the rest. Nicholas was very prompt with all of his email responses and they were the only tour company to give the option of ending the tour in Kigali, Rwanda. Kayi our guide was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us throughout the whole trip. We could not have asked for a better tour guide! Gorilla trekking was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced and I could not recommend this tour company enough!

You should absolutely choose Wildebeest Safaris
This was a once in a lifetime trip for us and I am so glad we chose Wildebeest Safaris. From our first interaction with Noah, we knew we were in good hands. He answered all of our questions patiently and was very accommodating in planning the exact itinerary we needed. Our guides, Hamza and Chotara, were the best that we could have hoped for. They were friendly, charming, and obviously very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. They felt like a part of the family after 6 days, and we were sad to say goodbye to them. If you are looking for a smaller safari company that will treat you well and customize a trip exactly to your specifications, you should absolutely choose Wildebeest Safaris LTD.

Excellent experience!
This tour experience was EXCELLENT, from our friendly and helpful guide Aroni, to the very comfortable "glamping" accommodations at the Mara, to the unique experience driving over the VERY rough roads both getting to and inside the reserve, to the surprisingly excellent (and vegetarian-friendly) meals provided throughout.
Having gone in March, the Mara wasn't as full of migrating animals as it is at other times of year, but Aroni was excellent at getting us up close to many of them nonetheless, including several sightings of elusive cats (lion and leopard). It turned out that we ended up seeing lots more than some others we chatted with at the camp who were part of other safari groups.
The one DISAPPOINTMENT of the trip is that the safari company needs to update the description of this safari. Due to geological changes that flooded the lake with lots of fresh water, Lake Nakuru is (sadly) no longer the flamingo-filled "Pink Lake" that it's claimed to be in the description. Visiting that park was still enjoyable, but I think the company needs to update either the safari itself or its description.
Finally, while we usually try to avoid expensive tours and plan our own trips, this is one where you NEED a tour! Driving in Kenya isn't for the faint of heart. Traffic, directions, road conditions, lack of reliable cell service (especially out in/near the Mara), and an inability to communicate with other safari drivers about sightings in the park are all important reasons to NOT go this one alone!
