Amazing and personalized experience with Kwesa tours
My fiancee and I traveled to Tanzania during covid. We summitted Kilimanjaro and did a 6 day safari through Kwesa tours and had an amazing time from start to finish! Kwesa is an extremely professional family-operated company. Edward was especially responsive over Whatsapp while we were planning the trip. We did the Lemosho trek with Edward's brothers Joseph and Goodluck who made the entire experience very memorable. They even offered to carry our daypacks for us when we got tired, which definitely helped us make our way to the summit. We ended up summiting and coming down in just 6 days, so we added two days to our original 4-day safari, which Edward was able to swiftly organize. After coming down from the mountain, Edward took us out to a nice dinner in town with Joseph and Goodluck. We really felt like family! We did the Safari with Brighton and Felix, who were also excellent. Felix was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and Brighton was a very professional driver. The lodges we stayed at were very high-end and better than expected. Edward is very resourceful and will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. He even helped us organize a covid test in Zanzibar so we could fly back to the U.S. Overall, I would highly recommend Kwesa tours to anyone looking to explore Tanzania. They exceeded all expectations!!

Great Experience w/ Great Guides
After long wanting to attempt climbing Kilimanjaro, we finally took the step of booking a trek with Enosa Expeditions. Our journey began in early January 2021. Upon arriving in Tanzania, we met Eric and Wilfred, the two (incredible) guides that would be leading us on this journey. They were well-informed and made sure to offer a comprehensive breakdown of what the coming days would offer and how to be best prepared, whether it was clothing, equipment, or merely preparing yourself mentally. All-in-all, the experience was truly remarkable, and the unwavering guidance, support, and enjoyment provided by our two guides along the way made the experience all the more worthwhile. For anyone trying to decide between the array of operators on the mountain, I can highly recommend using Enosa Expeditions. If you do, be sure to request that Eric and Wilfred guide you - with these two guys, you can feel comfortable that not only will you successfully make the journey to the roof of Africa, but you will have an awesome time doing it.

A week ago now I have just finished 7 days lemosho trek up Kili with Great Lake expedition. I can't recommend them enough, they will get you to the top and in such a profession and encouraging way! You won't go hungry and you'll always know what the plans are as you go. Our tents were always waiting for us and the food was always ready and it was delicious! Our guides Ima and Tom, kept a watchful eye on us and were always there to encourage us. Infact the whole team did their part superbly. My summit was not possible without my guides. Great Lake Expedition looked after us from start to finish. A great company to choose should you accept the challenge to climb the highest free standing mountain on earth!!

Amazing Experience
Compass Odyssey was wonderful! They worked with us on an itinerary ensuring we had an exclusive adventure.
From the moment of our arrival until departure everything was top notch. Our accommodations were beautiful, our guide Mortimer was spectacular.
We went with another couple and we were all impressed with entire organization. We have traveled together to numerous countries and by far our best experience.

Memorable experience with Ngoni Safaris
I had a wonderful time in Uganda with Sedrick from Ngoni Safaris. As a young solo female traveler, one of my biggest priority is safety and Sedrick earned my trust even before I had booked and I am glad to say that I started the tour as a tourist and ended as a good friend! Although my trip was cut short due to messy flight SOPs related to COVID that had a huge impact on my itinerary, Sedrick still managed to include all the highlights that he possibly could and made sure I ENJOYED Uganda. There wasn't a single time that I felt uncomfortable or out of place. Sedrick and one of his assistant guide Newton were not only great care-takers but also a fantastic company and friends to be with! I had a great time with them and will book with Ngoni anytime I am visiting Uganda. I recommend them 100%!

Gorilla Trek & Batwa Experience That Did Not Happen (Twice)
During the planning stages, Bernard went above & beyond to meet our expectations. He showed empathy & compassion throughout. We knew the $700.00 gorilla permits would not be refundable, but went to a good cause. We have traveled in all 7 continents (Africa twice, India twice), all 50 states (Hawaii twice), 11 of 13 Canadian provinces & territory & 9 Caribbean islands, a total of 25 countries. I have never done a review in all of the travels, but Bernard's outstanding service makes it a pleasure to do so. The gorilla trek & Batwa experience would have been added to some of our other adventures including 2 floe-edge expeditions from Arctic Circle to open sea, 27 Bengal tiger safari drives & 10 Antarctic zodiac landings. Although my degree is in education, my minor is sociology, so I was really looking to spend time with the Batwa people. There is no doubt this would have been a memorable trip & I would book with Bernard again. In the end it came down to our ages & health, soon to be age 70 & 71. Please note that trip was scheduled for July 2021 & that I had to use an earlier date for this review to go through.
