Just Awesome!!
5/5

We went to a 3 day Masai Maara Safari. Lennox is the person we communicated about the safari through email. He was prompt in replying to the queries we asked. Richard was the driver who was very casual to us and he made sure the group was comfortable through out the safari. He is highly skilled driver and we spotted the big 5 :) I would rate him more than excellent :) Thanks to Lennox and Richard

A Wonderful Experience… One that Tops the Charts!!
5/5

Words alone cannot describe the incredible experience my family and I had on our tour with Cape of Good Hope Tours. We started off our journey with Cape of Good Hope on a full day Cape Peninsular and Winelands tour. This was followed by a four day Garden Route tour from Cape Town – Port Elizabeth.

We were very fortunate to have been accompanied by Anthea for the first two full-day tours and Amman on our garden route tour. Both possessed qualities of a great tour guide. They had great personalities and were very informative and knowledgeable. They were very obliging and accommodating to our needs during the tour. Most importantly, they ensured our safety and comfort were their priority.

Despite having a set tour itinerary, both guides were very flexible throughout our trip. They made sure we saw and experienced all the beauty in South Africa. This included unexpected stops at a local beach to view Table Mountain; stops at quaint towns along our trip and restaurants offering the best of South African cuisine. We were also very fortunate on our last day in Port Elizabeth to be welcomed into Amman’s sister’s house for an unexpected lunch stop; an overwhelmingly kind gesture and insight into true South African hospitality.

Lastly, our tour could not have gone off with such immaculate precision if it was not for Cape of Good Hope tour. In this respect, I would like to sincerely thank Dorian. Planning for a holiday is hectic on its own and I was doing so in the midst of intense work and personal commitments. Thankfully, I was immediately put at ease from my first e-mail interaction with Dorian. She provided prompt guidance and response to any queries via e-mail and phone. I had no doubt over her warmth and sincerity in ensuring that we planned a wonderful holiday for my family. I communicated with Dorian closely prior to our trip and, with her support and guidance, an itinerary tailored to our needs and wishes was created.

We travelled in a comfortable car and stayed at very different accommodations along the way. Each place, very luxurious and comfortable, had their own unique character from a bush chalet within a Game Lodge to a family run homestead in Oudtshoorn, a very homely B&B in Knysna and finally, a wonderful Dutch style cottage in Tsitsikamma Village.

My family will return home with the best experience of their life; one that tops the charts! This was all made possible thanks to Cape of Good Hope Tour. A big thank you!!

Go With The Best
5/5

Nature’s Wonderland Safaris made the 10 days spent in Tanzania one of the best trips I have experienced. I wanted a birding and wildlife tour and Joseph Mwangi exceeded my expectations. The mammals in Tanzania were the prime objective but as a birder I also wanted to be able to ID birds we would see. We were overwhelmed by the wildlife that Joseph and Samuel, our driver, were able to find. The leopards and cheetahs that they found were the high points. Joseph excels in finding birds through hearing and picking them out in impossible spots. He was very helpful in not just IDing the birds but helping you focus in on the distinctive features to aid you in making the ID. The itinerary developed by Joseph was perfect and all the lodgings were extremely comfortable and had great food. Joseph has a very easy going personality with a wonderful sense of humor. He has a quiet competent sense about him that allows you to relax and take in all the wonder of Africa. Joseph’s ability to ID both birds and mammals made a huge difference in the quality of the trip. Tailoring a safaris to your needs is so important and Joseph can be trusted to deliver. I highly recommend Joseph and Nature’s Wonderland Safaris to anyone planning a birding or wildlife safaris to Tanzania or Kenya.

Very good agency
5/5

We really enjoyed working with Darren and Kate. They did a very thorough job in planning and organizing our two-week travel in South Africa, Botswana and visit to Victoria Falls. They work with very good local guides and excellent camps. The accommodations that were picked for us both in Cape Town and Victoria Falls exactly met our requirements and were superb.
Thank you Darren and Kate for your excellent job!

It was a trip of a lifetime
5/5

The trip of a lifetime!
Vacation2Africa worked with us to put together our personalized itinerary with tented camps, hikes, village interaction, wildebeest migration, Ngorongoro Caldera, several national parks and of course, the Big 5.
To make things exciting we had an escort safari. Since the owner was gonna be in Tanzania he offered to escort us.
Tom (owner) and his staff knew where we needed to be to see the most action. From experience, they could observe an animal's movement and position the vehicles for the best viewing and photos. The drivers amazed us with their ability to spot even the smallest game and birds. With Tom's narration and nightly talks, we came to love his native Tanzania and appreciate the treasures it holds

Bad experience
2/5

In short, we got white-collar pickpocketed. We booked a 7-day safari with Jipe Trekking and Safari. On the morning of departure, we were kept waiting at the hotel for hours such that the first day's activities had to be postponed. On day 3, it emerged that there were problems with the dedicated credit card the driver was provided with to pay the entry fee for Serengeti National Park (it seems the company doesn't trust their staff enough to provide them with a general credit card). We were driven around from bank to bank for hours until the driver was forced to give up and try again tomorrow. As a result, we were now a full day behind schedule. The consequence was that we had to subsequently reduce our time in some of the nicest areas on the trip in order to return on time. When we complained about the fact that we were effectively charged one seventh of the total trip fees to wait around during these delays - none of which were our fault - the owner refused to reimburse us, and was even quite emotionally abusive over email. I suspected his responses could have been cut and pasted from previous dissatisfied clients. We've now lodged a complaint to the Tanzanian consumer affairs department. Fingers crossed.

On the plus side, the rest of our time in Tanzania was great, from the very first moment we no longer had to deal with Jipe!
