Exceptional
Working with Christine at Wildlife Safaris was a pleasure. She answered all of our questions and made it easy for us to book. Our guide, Hoppi, was excellent. He worked hard to find wonderful wildlife and attended to all of our needs. I wish we could have spent more time in Kruger.

Travel for Change designed the trip of a lifetime for us
Our group of 5 ladies in their 70s was understandably nervous about getting everything arranged for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. But once we selected Travel for Change Africa, Patricia set about making us feel sure we were in the right hands. She selected options for us, answered many, many questions and designed a personalized 10-day itinerary that we loved. We were watching Kenyan news to learn more about our destination and asked Patricia if the big crack in the earth that was opening up and destroying roads would impact us. Patricia immediately got back to us to say that, no it was fine and she would be sure that Patrick, our guide, knew that we wanted to see that. Every question and request was handled promptly.
We chose the 10-day trip in early June, staying at mid-range properties. The safari included Samburu, Abadare (Treetops), Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara parks. They all were very different and the wildlife viewing, with Patrick spotting and teaching us about the animals was awesome. We did not miss any of the animals on our checklist. Each of the resorts was unique, the food was good and the staffs were friendly and helpful. We all felt the pricing was quite affordable, even the person who opted for single accommodations. Early June is still considered shoulder season rates.
The Travel for Change staff we met were outstanding. Patricia made a point of meeting up and touring with us in Amsterdam during our layover. It was great to get to know her in person after all the months of emails. And Patrick was the BEST. He may not have known what to expect with 5 young-at-heart oldsters but he soon found that mud, bumpy roads or any other travel discomforts didn’t faze us. It was pretty much smiles, fun and laughter the whole trip.
We would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone, although we all did agree that you should be fairly fit for this kind of adventure. Just hanging on while traversing the bumpy game roads was a challenge.

Magic
I finally was able to see the famous Wilder beast migration. It was a wish I had since childhood.
The excellent staff of Denhum made this a magic trip I will never forget. Where so many things could have gone wrong they made shure everything went perfectly right. Thank you for arranging the best room available in the lodge. Thank you for arranging the special food I need for medical reasons. Thank you for driving to places where others didn't go. Thank you for the bonus of the lion and ellefant families.
Thank you thank you

Smooth and pleasant experience from booking to excursion
During the booking process, I received quick responses from Judy outlining my options and prices and answering the millions of questions that continued to come up for me. We booked two trips through Gametrackers, a 3-day Masai Mara camping safari and a trip to the annual Lake Turkana Cultural Festival. The safari was amazing and our guide Daniel was not only incredibly knowledgable about the animals and the reserve, but was also visibly passionate about it all. Daniel was so friendly and it was great to have him as our guide, as the guide can really make or break a safari experience. We were excited to find out he would also be our guide for the Lake Turkana Cultural Festival, along with Karisa, the driver and Poly and Ben, the cooks (I hope I'm getting their names correct because they were so great). The whole team was amazing and made the trip unforgettable. I imagine it's difficult dealing with a large group because there are many differing opinions and potential for clashing personalities, but the staff never showed any signs of difficulty navigating through what everyone in the group wanted to do. Thank you to Daniel and the rest of the crews for two wonderful trips full of fun and great food.

Thank you to the Spirit of Kenya team for making our trip one of our most memorable ones..Rocked it!
Our trip was amazing..!!! The Spirit of Kenya folks planned it to near perfection, the execution was flawless. All of the hotels and camps we stayed at were top-notch. Most of the other tours we went were hurried in some fashion or another on a couple days, but this one was just the right amount of rest and travel. I will definitely look to you again for another one in the next couple years with a larger group of family members.
A few words about George. He is one of the best guides we've ever had. He executed the plan flawlessly. Best part, he has tremendous knowledge and expertise. While we were enjoying, had lots of fun and had the time of our life, George owned ensuring our success, safety and security, becoming our trusted adviser. I just could not have asked for more. The trip just would not have been a success without him by our side. Oh, and he has tremendous patience answering our silly (And sometimes dumb) questions :), and HE CAN DRIVE ON UNFORGIVING ROADS FOR A LENGTHY TIME.. !!! He is now a friend for life.
We came in with the hopes of seeing wildlife in a natural habitat. We experienced much more than just wildlife spotting - we experienced the people, the culture, the traditions of the Maasai and hospitality of Kenya. 9 days went by really fast :(. So thanks again, and thanks to George. We look forward to more of trips with your team, and not once hesitate to refer you to my friends and family.

Amazing safari with Joshua
We worked with Original Tanzania to help organize a 7-day trip for our family, with 5-6 days on safari in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire. We began planning in earnest in early May for a late June safari. Sarah was our primary contact for the organizing stage, and then Joshua was our guide while we were in Tanzania. We had such an amazing experience with Original Tanzania and would wholeheartedly recommend them!!
Arranging the trip:
We had reached out to Sarah with basic guidelines on what we wanted (e.g., length of trip; possible dates; a vague sense of what we wanted to do), and she really helped drive the process from there. She is incredibly knowledgeable and responsive -- both over email and on WhatsApp, even hopping on the phone with us to help answer questions, reassure us, and organize the smallest of details. She not only helped us with the basic logistics (e.g., booking accommodations; figuring out what schedule would let us visit all the sites we wanted; etc.), but also advised us on all of the other travel minutiae that pop up (e.g., vaccines / medications we would need; tipping guidelines; packing lists; etc.) I cannot imagine how we would have organized this trip without her help.
While on safari / in Tanzania:
Once we got to Tanzania, Joshua picked us up from the airport and was our guide for all of safari. (William from Original Tanzania also met us at our hotel the first night to confirm that all was well - we definitely felt well taken care of!) It's hard to explain how great Joshua is!!
Joshua is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about all of the different animals and sights you'll see on safari. We saw so many animals up close (cheetahs, baby elephants, lions, giraffes, crocodiles, a rhino, warthogs, hippos, lilac-breasted rollers, cranes, zebras, baboons, buffalo, eagles, gazelles, wildebeest, impalas, ostriches -- you name it!) due to Joshua's excellent eye and uncanny knack for positioning us right where the action was. He knows so much about all of the animals and the landscape and had such patience sharing that information with us, even as we kept asking the same questions over and over again!
He's also incredibly sensitive to what you're excited about and how you're feeling through all of safari. For example, he noticed that our family was particularly taken with baby elephants and warthogs, so took extra care to spend more time with those animals and consistently point them out. He always seems to know when you're ready to move on vs. when you want to just sit and enjoy watching a certain scene which was great to keep our day moving at just the right pace. He's incredibly friendly, upbeat, and personable, and we really had such a wonderful time due to all of his energy and effort. Thanks, Joshua!!
